Cashier was rude. After pointing out that the appropriate sale prices were not ringing up correctly, the young lady continuously rolled her eyes and huffed loudly. I didn't need those actions to know that she obviously hates her job. She was just plain rude. And she refused to fix the other item that was not ringing up correctly. Tried to call the district manager, but like this employee...he doesn't seem to place a high priority on customer service. If you call the customer service number it will send you through a ton of prompts and dump you into an IVR system. They won't even spring for a human being to try to save their reputation. I used to shop at Family Dollar all the time. No more. I would rather spend my money with a company that cares even a little bit about customer service.

Love to shop @ FD, I had the app but, it would never open when I shopped there. So I got tired of changing my password for their app and DG's constantly. These are my favorite stores as well as the DT store

Very bad customer service. Store open at 9 o’clock employee didn’t open the doors until 9:10 didn’t geeet no customer that had been waiting outside no apologies nothing. Don’t even have on a name tag and then while she ringing up my stuff she’s typing in each item instead of saying her scanner don’t work nothing. I asked her a question and had to ask again pertaining to sale items on the counter. Her cell phone rung repeatly. I normally shop here, but I doubt I’ll go back. I know customer service and that’s not how you service customer. I asked if they had a customer service number she reply I don’t know. No thank you have a nice day. I don’t know why she feel like we had her late for work and if my kids was not with me I would have told her what I thought. Where do they hire these people and they wonder why ppl always robbing the place. Start with your customer service and see how far you’ll go.

Went Sunday night 10/29/27 some pregnant employee was working the shift. Terrible customer service skills. She used a bluetooth head phone set and stayed on her cell the entire time, even when checking out customers. Will not be going back
