I love this place because I love animals, without a doubt. I wish I could've been able to seen the cats or dogs but I'm not sure if they allow it there or not. You could possibly ask but they did have a bunny that was adorable, quiet, and reserved. I would recommend this place but it's not a lot to really see unless you're going to see others besides cats and dogs.

Just about every feeding mice size available. Fuzzies and pinkies are a little hard to get at times, but call and ask when they get there mice in so you know when to plan to get what you need.Very friendly and helpful staff.

I was warned these people were rude but it’s the closest place to me so I risked it and you are talked to like you are ignorant dirt under their feet I thought well god I’m sure as long as I’m polite it won’t be that bad but u leave with heartbroken kids over common goldfish and bad mood plus u don’t even buy a pet thanks for a 120 mile trip and wasted gas ☹️I’d give no stars but they make u give at least one 🙄The only nice thing about this place is the animals but good luck buying one u might be to stupid apparently cuz u didn’t call first to let them know how capable u we’re and pictures of ur equipment lmao

it was my first time coming to this pet store great service but i saw some things that could be fixed your two ball pythons have mits i could see them all over which could be fixed i would not sell them tell they are all clear could be fatal. ball pythons or bearded dragons should not be housed together its not a good idea looks like you have two adult bearded dragons together which is even more dangerous . and the bird room and small pets and the reptile room where so dirty just cuz there alive does not mean there thriving. well, pythons need humidity and substrate And a few of your other animals in the reptile room some of these animals look like they Condition. care for the pets that are there it’s there first time living two.

Wouldn’t recommend. Ask numerous questions about Beta’s, and was advised that two females would not fight. Less than two hours later one of them is dead due to aggressive fighting.

Very friendly staff and all their pets are healthy. The owner will refuse pets from suppliers if they are not up to her standards which I love. My koi are doing great

Went after reading some very negative reviews. Do not agree with what I found in this store. It is immaculate and well supplied. I am sorry some have had negative experiences. For me all I needed was in excellent supply and health. The store manager and staff were more then helpful and very much well educated in the care of the pets. I had a wonderful visit and will return to the best caliber store in the area. I did not let a few negative opinions decide for me. I believe with supply shortages and staff shortages in all of the stores we should be grateful for those who have hung in there thru the pandemic stresses. I believe we need to encourage all our shop keepers who have had to fight to survive in the economic times. Thank you for your wonderful service. Some of us really do appreciate all your efforts. I love this place! My brothers birthday is coming up and my family and I were looking into getting him 2 Guinea pigs and the people here were so nice and helpful and informative! I called before hand to make sure they had them and the guy was so kind and helpful and assisted my every need in store as well. Will definitely be returning here for my pet needs!

Worst pet store ever ! Came in professionally and told the owner I brought an allergy eater to put in my tank ., her employer told me an allergy eater can go in a gold fish tank and it’s perfectly safe it wouldn’t harm my goldfish ! The allergy eater kill all my fish and I asked the owner could they Offer me more goldfish discounted or offer me my money back . She proceeded to tell me it’s safe to put allergy eaters in my tank and they won’t harm a goldfish ! I simply told her GOOGLE says different. Then had the nerve to ask me can she test my fish water ! Like really !!!!. Then She got mad put me out the store and She raciest !!!!

My husband and I are from out of town but we come to visit the area often for family and we always come in here on our visits, staff are friendly and helped educate us with our Guinea pigs fungal infection. It’s always clean and decent pricing, staff is always kind and have a smile on their face.

Have bought a few fish and supplies from here. Service was excellent and animals were healthy. Used grooming service today and Holly was amazing! It was my fur baby's first real groom and she took such good care of him. She was very welcoming and made sure Ashton was comfortable. Upon pickup he looked fantastic! She really listened to what I was looking for as I didn't want a full haircut as my fur baby is a rough collie and has long flowing hair. She got all the loose hair from shedding and cleaned him all up. He was so fluffy and beautiful! I definitely will be returning, not only for how beautiful he turned out but also because how everyone in the establishment treated us with respect and very professional and really seem to care. Definitely recommend 👌 👍

Just had a terrible customer service experience. The owner got on the phone and berated me because I called to complain that a large sized rat was placed in a small box for transport and chewed out in a matter of 10 to 15 mins while on the way home. Carroll was immediately confrontational (although i was not looking or asking for a refund), but expressing that I would need to buy another and would need different type transport box. Utimately she just hung up on me. I WAS a 3 year customer. Never again

I take my sweet little girl penny to get her nail trimmed I absolutely trust and feel comfortable how Awsome and carring she is with my babygirl Plus the guy up front was so kind and respectful and also gave me a new calendar along with information about an Awsome place now open for families to go enjoy playing putt putt along with other fun family events on lackey Street in Lumberton. Also really enjoyed looking at the parakeets God's precious animals have perfect art work like colors and countless features. Awsome pet store to go regularly visit I recommend them.

They get away with being rude, condescending, arrogant, and ill-tempered because they know that there's almost no competition in town. However, if you want healthy pets....this is NOT the place to go. There's a good chance your new pet will die and an even better chance that the staff will deny any and all responsibility.I stopped going there a couple years ago because the condition of their animals was pitiful. A friend just relayed her experience with them to me and it seems nothing has changed. Save yourself the frustration and buy your pets from a store that honors their guarantee and doesn't treat their customers like garbage.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Very willing to help with what I needed. Store was clean, smelled good and fish were very healthy. I bought 11 fish total, lost 4 to new tank shock. Not a big deal. Will be back.

A great pet store with very helpful staff. They have helped me start two aquariums from scratch. They have offered lots of tips and have helped me through some issues with my tanks. The staff has gone above the call of duty to make sure I am satisfied as a customer. I would highly recommend Carrolls Pets.

I bought 2 Neon fish, a Male & Female Guppies. The female had 2 spots on her tail from the other fish picking on her. She was the best looking of the 3 females they had. When we got up the next morning the female was dead. When I called up there to let them know, the gentleman that got the fish for me argued with me about the condition of the female guppy when I bought her. The fish tanks were filthy and had dead fish floating around, laying on the bottom and stuck to the tube for the filter in almost every tank. I do not recommend going there.

Probably the worst place I have ever bought fish from. Dead fish in tanks, an oscar who had swim bladder problems and was clearly dying, and a belligerent owner who doesn't care about the lives of her fish. Out of all 30 of the fish I purchased, 25 have died so far and not because of my tanks. I test my water quality frequently and cycled my tank. She sold me fish infected with incurable issues.They showed all signs of bloating with internal bleeding, and tons of other problems before they inevitably died. Despite the fact that my tank water parameters were perfect and I had done everything possible to keep them alive, and the other fish I had in a separate tank using the same strategies did not die she still refused to refund me for the sick fish she sold me.Don't buy your fish from here. Buyer beware!
