Destiny in the pharmacy is the best!! She helped me out by educating me on how to save money with my prescriptions. I've never had anyone at any pharmacy take up time with me and make me feel like I was her sole priority at that moment. She is an exceptional young woman and I hope Walgreens appreciates her!

Walgreens is horrible. The staff is always extremely rude. They seem to not know what they are doing when it comes to billing insurance. After the 1st incident, now when I get the text that my prescription is ready, I call to make sure and every time they tell me they are finishing it up and will be ready in 15 minutes. Well 45 plus minutes later when I show up to get it, my prescription still isn't ready and takes another 20 plus minutes. I've had to call my insurance company several times because they tell me my prescription is delayed due to insurance, but when I call my insurance, they tell me that Walgreens hasn't submitted anything. Anytime I call Walgreens, no one answers the phone, they just put me on hold for at least 20 minutes. I am writing this review while on hold with Walgreens. The first time I called, I was on hold for 25 minutes, someone picked up the phone and hung up on me. I immediately called back and have been on hold now for over 25 minutes. I'm definitely calling my insurance and finding another pharmacy. I'm done being disrespected by Walgreens staff

I would like to say to everyone in the pharmacy section thank you for all that you do for us every day.I thank you for the bottom of my heart. I also wanted to send a special thanks to Lynn when I went in to get my shot she did a remarkable job and she was just super amazing and outstanding. Thank you for being so sweet and kind not just to me but to every single one of the E customers that come in to see you.

They are really bad about answering the phones in the pharmacy and when you are in hold for a live person they will pick the phone up where you can hear them and then will hang the phone up in your face where you have to call back then your in a line with 3 or more people in front of you

The cashier named Angel gave me the most disrespectful service in my life. I saw him treat customers with so much disrespect that he looked like he did not want to do his job. He needs to be fired.

I just want to say thank you to the pharmacy staff at walgreens. My step mom is diabetic and was visiting from California. She had not realized that she did not have enough insulin to get her through her stay. Her doctor in California and the pharmacy were making it very difficult for her to pick up insulin out of state. Well, the pharmacists at Walgreens went out of their way to call the California pharmacy and get the prescription. An hour later we were picking up the insulin. Then we were unable to use her CA insurance, so we would pay out of pocket... but they were still able to get us a discount so it wouldn't be such a huge cost. I wish I remembered their names, but they were very helpful. Great customer service, went out of their way several times to help us out.

Pharmacy operations are subpar. Medications are never in stock so be sure to add a couple days to any refill request whereas any other pharmacy is able to complete the refill same-day. Not sure if it’s due to lack of staffing or that they just don’t care, but I feel like I have to make several calls just to obtain a prescription. Almost as if I’m holding their hand in the process. Too bad BCBS requires me to fill my prescriptions with them. ☹️

The next time, 2 workers are aware of 2 people waiting at the register to check out, 5 minutes, and after they made eye contact with you, as well after they walked past, please don't have then waiting on you. That's rude. That's poor customer service.

This place is terrible for filling prescriptions. Have recently moved to Louisburg and had my medicines transfered here. Every time I have gone to pick up my insulins for my diabetes I have had problems. They say they don't have the prescription Dr did not call it in, or they did not fax Dr to have a renewal on it, or charged me double the amount for the same thing I had got before. Spent over on hour there one day to get one medication I needed. Told me the Dr did not call or send it in. Stepped outside called office and nurse said they had sent it over earlier that morning. Called this morning to have insulin filled computer answering service said it would be ready after 11:30 today. Called at 4:00 and she said she did not have it. But had something else for me ready for pick up. Which I did not ask to be filled! When I told the lady I need the insulin filled she then said she would have it ready in 15 mins. I said thank you I would be there shortly to pick up she replied hum hum and hung up. How rude. Plus every time I call to speak with someone it takes 15 to 20 mins for someone to pick up. I strongly suggest not going to this place for prescription. NOT recommended!!! I will now be looking another place to fill my medicines.

They used to be a wonderful pharmacy until they replaced all their pharmacy people with new employees. When that happened everything went down hill. It was difficult to get refills on prescriptions giving one excuse after another, I have had to repay my co-pay for prescriptions that were only filled with a few days worth of medication. and had a very difficult time to get them to look and refill prescriptions that had refills. They seem bothered to punch a key on their keyboards. When I finally changed pharmacies (after several years being with them) they made it difficult to transfer them stating they already sent them and had already closed out my chart. But after a month went by, we finally got most of it transferred, Never again will I do any business at Walgreens in Louisburg ever again. I will use another store to use my rewards on and then thats it. CVS now has my business. I get several prescriptions a month and hope no one ever has to go through what I went through with them ever ! (I gave 1 star because i couldnt get anything lower on the scoring for this place)

Every time I get a text saying my medicine is ready for pick up and I get there and it takes 30 minutes to an hour for them to straighten out the insurance and get me the medicine. Why does the text say it’s ready for pick up and it’s not? The worst place I’ve ever dealt with. Use anywhere else you can find. I don’t see how they rate 3.1 in their reviews.

Every since they have bought out rite aid and replaced the good employees with half wits. Tried to refill a prescription and the pharmacist said that it has been closed. I asked how! I didn’t close it. So I dug through my garbage ( I had already thrown out the old bottle ) to get the prescription # and called back. The pharmacist said oh yeah we can fill that I said it’s funny you said it was closed. She had the nerve to say oh you’re looking for ..... I said yeah she did not know the generic name. WTH os going on there?

This pharmacy has "internal practices" that make it nearly impossible to fill a controlled medication. They treat you like a criminal for having a legitimate prescription. Every single month that my prescription went there from my doctor, the customer service was HORRIBLE. Either they tell me its ready, then they can't release it, they won't automatically refill it, or they tell me to have my doctor call and set it up on 2 day early refill so that I'm not making extra trips (which I did) AND they STILL won't release it. Plan on being treated like a crackhead and running out of medication completely before they will fill what the doctor has prescribed. If they tell you it's ready, that doesn't mean they will release it. And forget an automatic computer generated monthly refill - they can't do that either for controlled meds. Bring your ID, come inside and be talked down to, and prepare to be treated like a drug addict. Do yourself a favor, and go elsewhere.

me and my runaway mihill had a horrible case of poison ivy that we caught in the wilderness and we got tons of stuff to fix and the doctor in the back got very mad and made us put all the stuff back and was very unhelpful
