Love the meats at Moss's. My favorite is to get a ribeye loin cut into 1 1/2 inch steaks. Also, best place to get chicken halves if you're having a chicken fundraiser. Perfect size and the split them for you.

I love this store. They have meat cutters on staff that will custom cut your meata from open til close at 7pm. They are friendly, helpful and keep the store well stocked. Prices are comparable but the meats are where its at. If you are planning a large cookout this is a great place to order bulk items like whole and 1/2 hogs for pig pickings and bulk poultry orders.

I prefer moss meat market oven kinIaws in Fayetteville NC. however since prices are on the rise!! Substitutions should be offered when purchasing those bundle deals!! they have thrown in those red Stevens hot dogs!! Great deal if you are buying for a large family!! I feel the meat market should have at least one substitute per bundle!!

Country store. Good for meat. We brought turkey chops. Would show you a picture but my family ate it all before I could 😂. You can actually see Butchers working . Good customer service.The biggest flex is you can tell the meats are fresh as they can get from a store.

Very nice selection of fresh meats. Friendly and helpful Staff. They clean the counters and conveyor belts between customers. This is my go to place for Meats, Vegetables and Snacks! 😁 Although, today was an extremely crowded day inside the store. The wait in line was not long. Big kudos to the Team running the registers. I'm sure all customers appreciated your efforts.

My wife and I have been going to Moss Food for yrs. Great meat especially their ribs and we like their sweet cole shaw. It has the old country store feeling. Bring back great memories. I wish it was bigger because the area has grown in the past 10 years. Still I'm given it 5 stars.

Love the small town feel if this store. It is a very small store for the amount of business they do but they have great prices on fresh meat. They also have good deals on other items in the store. Staff is always friendly and eager to help.

Super helpful store members. Went looking for a bone in salt cured ham for Christmas. Thay had a plethora of nicely cured and fresh hams. There meat department was old school butcher style. You can see them though the widow cutting by hand. All meats that I saw were red and fresh looking nothing grey and old. I will be back to stock up my deep freezer with many more of there variety of meats. I love the country store feel because that is how I grew up. Go visit.

I've been shopping here almost all my life. If you want FRESH meat for great prices and the best butcher shop left in NC, come here. It's crowded often for such a small store but there's a reason for that. There is no big box store that can provide such quality meats and a more friendly and hard working staff.

Hunting for an old time butcher shop, then you've found it here. They also carry a full line of groceries but their meat is what people drive an hour or more for to buy.We drive 40 minutes to buy THE best meat you'll find anywhere. A few might match the quality but nobody, nobody can beat it.I guess there must be at least 10 butchers cutting meat nonstop and another 15 people help package it.They sell it so fast there is never a chance of getting some prepackaged old junk.Fast and friendly staff always willing to help.They also stock old time favorites of spices, mixes and stuff you can't find hardly anywhere. They have whole hogs, pig tails, ox tails, fresh link sausage, chickens by the case and if you can think of it, they got it.Been shopping here over 25 years and WILL not buy our meat anywhere else.Just a GREAT place to shop.

Their meat prices are the best in the state. And the quality is just as good. They are, what is a now a lost luxury. They are the local grocer of old providing a great product, for a low price, without comprising quality. We drive from Rolesville 2 times a month to shop there and save hundreds. It truly is a hidden gem.
