I have been a long time patient of Dr. Magnum and staff. Since 1999 or so I have been a patient of his. Through the years we have been through a-lot together with my furry family members. Dr. Mangum has been not only a doctor to my family but has become a friend of our family. I trust him and his staff completely with all my furry family members. I have been here before but I haven't been in a while, years. They had really good vet when I was there. I honestly don't know why this had come up. I had called them last week but did not go there. I have to put my cat to sleep, she is 23 years old. I did find a very much cheaper vet that will help me. It's really Hard when you leave had their company for so long

Said I owed an old bill 5 years old. Would not see my new pet until it was paid. What was a $178 bill is now a $380 plus bill because of interest. I never received a bill from them to pay. Took my business elsewhere. To bad. Dr Barker is a good vet but Greenock Farm got my business now.

Great place with friendly staff. Needed a rabies shot for our outdoor cat and it was only $10, plus I was able to walk-in without an appointment (from 2-4). We will be back for any other vet needs!

Wonderful service. Our vet tech was very sweet and our vet is always a pleasure. Very clean and masks on everyone during this pandemic. Also they work very well with what is affordable for you even if it's recommendation for something over the counter if you can't afford something. They work with you the best they can. Fast but very efficient.

Love this vet. They were super awesome and caring when I lost my long time companion Domino. Now they are so patient with the crazy terrier I rescued. Susan the tech is the sweetest and most patient and informative person. She knows so much about these animals. Just love her.

This is a great place to bring your pet when needed. The front desk ladies are as nice as could be. Dr. Mangum is a very laid back doc that talks to you on a simple level which you can understand. He cares for his patients and their mom & dad's. You get first rate attention when you walk in the door and this is continued on with shots, test, surgery or a simple office visit.

Best old school country vet you will ever find. Dr. Magnum is super amazing with my dogs. Very caring and soothing to them. He always goes through all of the options for care without even a hint of judgement when you choose a path. Extremely reasonably priced and will work you in quickly if you have an emergency.(Like your puppies picking a fight with a raccoon) Best vet ever.

This is the best vet around. They are very affordable, the staff are the nicest people around, and they will do anything and everything possible to care for your pet as if it was their own. Dr.Mangum really knows his stuff, and always has the answers to the questions you ask. I wouldn't take my pet anywhere other than here.

Dr. Mangum and his staff (particularly Amanda) are absolutely amazing. I cannot put into words the piece of mind having him as our vet gives me. I have been a groomer for 23 years and worked with several rescues and continue to foster presently. I take all my personal and foster pets to them. Currently totaling over 10. Their prices are the best around and Dr. Mangum always goes out of his way to help us. They never turn us away for last minute sick appointments. They always fit us in. I've been to a lot of vets from the Stallings and Matthews area over the years. Waxhaw and Indian Trail too. I've never met a vet that was truly in it for the pets and not just the money except for Dr. Mangum. He's a gem. I don't know what we'll do if he ever retires. I hope he doesn't mind us showing up at his house because I sincerely couldn't imagine trusting anyone as much as Locust Animal Hospital with my fur kids!
