I’m sitting here as I write this on this cold day because my sweet tooth wanted ice cream. The worst feeling is to walk in somewhere and feel prejudiced against. Some form of racism with out needing to speak the words. Either way I proceed with my order tried making light convo with the young lady taking my order and get nothing back. While being handed my order I said to her thank you very much I appreciate it and all I got was a look and walk away. No you’re welcome, thank you hope to see you soon or come back. Nothing at all. Then again the focus was on 2 young gentleman who one may have been the boyfriend and friend. Won’t be coming back that’s for sure.

We arrived at 8:50 and pulled up to the drive through speaker the female worker informed us that it would be a 30 min wait for anything we ordered. When informed of this I turned and looked at the window and could see a male dressed in regular cloathing along with the female worker laughing. Not wanting to wait that long we pulled all the way through the drive through to leave. We could see two males and the female worker. The girl was making out with one of the males living it up like she wasn’t at work. This has been the numerous attempt to get ice cream normally the are always closed but tonight I guess it was date night for the worker

Love the banana split. Cost about $6.50 now. My dogs love the pup cup. The location in locust NC is slow serving and often out of bananas so that is frustrating. I call ahead to see if they have bananas before I go now. They find it hard to keep employees. The price keeps going up...about $3.00 increase in the banana split over the last 3 years but cheaper than desserts at restaurants. That is my bad girl treat and I'm sticking to it (and it is sticking with me 😭.

Jason I think that’s his name had the dining room closed during lunch hours. Went to drive through he said he couldn’t make my snickerdoodle blizzard so I got something I really didn’t want. Asked him for a lid so I could eat it while I was driving he gave me a small cup instead to put on top of it. Attitude was real nasty. Overall experience sucked and won’t be coming back to this location

Their ice cream machine is always down or not working, and they can never take gift cards. Always some reason they can’t serve you. Very frustrating as it is a regular occurrence.

Incompetent staff. Long wait for no reason! Slooooow! This location will not honor the free blizzard from the DQ surveys. No one there seems to knows how to enter survey numbers so they do not honor them. This was on the night of 10/9/2023. Talking to staff is like talking to wall. We will never return to or recommend going to this location ever.The owner should teach the staff about the free DQ rewards blizzard since they do not seem to know anything about them or how to ring them up! We are really upset by what we had to deal with! Complete incompetence!

Closed the dining room early at 7pm today when there were cars wrapped around the building. Came back by 10 min later and all the cars were gone only to find out the workers decided to close early when their hours are till 10pm. They were closed at 8pm.Although when they are open, the blizzards are pretty good.

I hate to leave a bad review. This store has been amazing up until a few weeks ago. It seems like they are always closed or not serving icecream. I just called tonight to make sure they were open. The lady that answered was rude. When I asked if they were Making icecream tonight, she replied that they were closed. This is 1.5 hours before closing time. I'm not sure why you would answer the phone if you are closed, but you atleast don't have to be rude. I would really hate for them to go out of business, but based on recent events, I'm afraid this is what might be happening.

When they are open the blizzards are good. You have to ask for a lid , even in the drive thru. I have started going to a little ice cream and coffee shop in the same building as sogo. Near the town hall. They are opened when they say they will be and the staff is friendly

Foods good, they've never gotten my order wrong but they need to hire more people. The lines are always long especially in the evening after dinner, which is understandable because that's probably when most people go, I know I do BUT there's always only 1 person taking orders and making orders, which is unfair to them!!! Hire more people!!! It's ridiculous to ask 1 person to handle rush by themselves.

They were ok up until my last two time come, said the machine was down and would be back up and running in the next 30 mins but it was 9:55pm and they closed at 10pm then I asked if I could wait they told me no wee will be closed, the next time I went the said they were out of ice cream lmao

Have to wait a bit due to short staffing but the ice cream is made correctly. You would think its hard to mess up ice cream but most DQs do sadly. Will come back here.

At first they were painfully slow and not worth the wait. The quality of the ice cream was always good though. Now they are much more expedient on the drive-thru and they have some nice, young polite employees as well. Glad I didn't give up on them.

I love visiting this location as its location is great and very close to my home and job. However, I have noticed some less than great sanitation habits. When they mix the blizzards, they grab the very bottom of the spoon (near the part you put in your mouth) and it just seems very unsanitary to me, all I can do is hope that their hands are clean like required! Will go back though! Wonderful Treats!

Had the grilled chicken sandwich and a blizzard, accidentally put tomatoes on the sandwich due to being busy. Easy enough to remove tho and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. Blizzard was nice and frozen with lots mixed in, love it when places dont just dash and done with that, here they give you a good amount.
