Awesome... They stock old timey stuff and new stuff... Great people.. Very polite people. I have gone to grocery stores in Wake county they have never heard of some of the cuts of meat and real food... The Pig stocks a great selection of items that are hard to find... I hope they never sell the store.

I didn't even go to Piggly Wiggly. If Google's gonna' spy on people, at least ask me how the service was at the gas station across the street was, cause that's where your boy was. Leaving 5 stars annnn-tyway cause the Pig lit. Here's a picture of some groceries so it looks legit tho.

I absolutely HATE 100% self check out stores. Every employee was standing around playing with their phones. If you don't scan something perfectly the system stops. It's very frustrating and i felt like i should be paid to work there since i actually did more work shopping, purchasing, bagging and carrying my own groceries. Why do they even need employees and what do they actually pay them to do?!

They have a decent selection of products. Some items more pricey than other stores. Customer service could be worked on a bit. Everytime I go, no one speaks and when I get to the register, and ask something, I get a mumbled response.I've asked on multiple trips there about how the rewards program works and I never get an answer. It's a mumbled, "yeah just put your number in".

I don't care to pick my fresh vegetables that are packed. I prefer them to be loose. Out of about a dozen visits in the last 2 yrs my encounter with the staff has not been good. They made me feel I was bothering them. The various employees I dealt with were curt, blunt, unsmiling, unhappy, in a hurry and non professional. My last visit there were 2 ladies at checkout that were very friendly and courteous. If I can encounter them each and every time I go in there, I would definitely shop there more often

they don't enforce masks even though North Carolina has had a 50% increase in coronavirus cases over the last couple weeks. but then, it's North Carolina so i guess it makes sense.update 2023 still no masks but everyone has pretty much given up statewide, even though we still average 1M cases and between 2000-3000 deaths nationwide.government mandated price gouging hasn't helped either. food prices are ridiculous, even though we know the CEOs of every major corporation made billions in profit even when the working class was getting even poorer.added one star from previous review because staff at this location is amazing. would give more stars if corporate would give employees part ownership in the company, $25 minimum wage, and full benefits with retirement.

Awesome. I asked if there were anymore of a certain meat? The associate said yes. Some just came in. He immediately went to get it. The cashier was smiling & pleasant. She wished me a safe & early Happy Thanksgiving.

The store is usually clean,the prices on the meats are good but ocassionly you might get a bag of chicken that's spoiled but with receipt they will exchange or refund your purchase. Most of the cashier's are friendly but a couple of them or not. Some never smile and act as if they are glad to have a job. Two Butchers in the back are not friendly at all while two are.The manager will speak to you if you speak to him but if you don't he'll just walk pass you.Mostly all of them except about 4 cashier's actually act like they're glad to be there. In closing this place of business has cheap prices on their foods.But if you're looking for a friendly laid back atmosphere you want find it here.

A neat, well stocked market. Always with sanitized carts...senior shopping hours.. someone to take groceries out to your car... prices a bit steep as any smaller town grocery store. Although some great sales can be found.I go there often since I live in town and will usually find what I need.

A very clean grocery store in this small town.It's a smaller store, so they probably won't have everything under the sun, but for a small to moderate-sized grocery run, this is a good option.Staff is friendly and offered to carry our five bags of groceries out even though we were a party of four. Kind of funny but still very considerate.Again, very clean. What you don't find here, you can always try Food Lion, though it's a ways away.

Shopping was greatThey had what we wanted in stock and even sliced the ham we purchased into steaks at no chargeCheckout was awful. Cashier was unfriendly, no smile, greeting or thank you. And she was rude to my 84 year old aunt. We shop there anyway as our options are limitedShe knows this and acts accordingly. Too bad we have to put up with her. It feels like a form of bullying.

Nice store, great people, great selection,use to have fair prices but pricing is absolutely ridiculous now. Way overboard. Its the only grocery store in town.Food Lion is cheaper but 8 & 15 miles away. 🙄😒 $100. buys you nothing.Shop before you get to town.😉

Love this Piggly Wiggly! They carry Bass sausage, small links and a semi dry sausage. Hamburger is fresh ground and when grilling those burgers it's the best. They carry Sauers products, seasonings and sauce makings, which is nice. Don't forget to check the selection of Piggly Wiggly t-shirts by the front door 😀

This is where I do most of my grocery shopping. Kinda dissatisfied with the store. We enjoy turkey sausage and they have stop selling it. The frontline assistance needs more training. Attitudes are terrible.

Last Sunday I heard this young dude tell the cashier that he wasn’t carrying nobody else groceries to there car in front of my face, I told him you don’t have to worry about my stuff because I’m a man I can get my own stuff, I wouldn’t let him pick my bags up, he better which what he say around customers Because you never know who is listening. I love shopping there it want Stop me from going there

I've stopped here slot when passing through. I can always find that old school corn meal for the real cornbread like grandma Lucy Mills Foster made. I know one of the managers, she's a good friend of my sister.

They need new manager I really believed he have no customer service experience or maybe it's a complexion issues he has with dark skin individuals. Meat department employee bad attitude. This should be more busy being the only grocery store in the area.

When I mentioned to the cashier I had another customer put something in my cart because it was too heavy she immediately called an employee to help put it in my car. I was impressed that I didn't even have to ask for help.

Nothing fancy, but everything you need at a reasonable price. And some unexpected bargains
