If you're looking for something healthy--sorry; if you're thinking of eating something absolutely decadent and well-made--this is the place. Warning: the shop opens early and the entire community knows how good the food is so if you get to 11:30 AM you might be out of luck.Wheelchair accessibility: Priority parking, ramp, wide entrance door.

Really Jenny??? What was in the blueberry muffins? You’re outrageous and the food you do make (nuts or not) it literally looks like Starbucks or airport food. No love baked into the food. The ppl out there just haven’t seen a good bakery, thus explaining your reviews

Super friendly, clean atmosphere. Very fast service, but make sure to arrive several minutes before opening to be first in line! Delicious pastries!!!! Highly recommend the pecan sticky bun and cinnamon rolls. The jelly filled donuts were plumply filled. The blueberry muffin was SUPER moist and exceptional! My brother in law RAVED over the cronuts!

The bad reviews made me chuckle. The donuts and muffins were outstanding and as fresh as they get. Great outdoor seating and an awesome way to start the morning if you are in the area.

Omg. Best baked goods. Follow on fb and insta to know weekly specials. Get there early for Best selection. If lucky will also have dog treats. Lovely wrap around porch to enjoy. Also, provides custom desserts for events.

My wife and I were just visiting the area, so this was our first time to stop in. First impressions: the building is cute as a button with a wrap-around deck, lots of seating (including rocking chairs), fans and heaters, so it is a year-round place. Inside you are greeted by beautiful dark ebony-tones and white highlights - just oozes class. The staff were warm and friendly and knew the products. The baked goods are GORGEOUS and are generous in size. I can only speak for the sticky buns – they are better than my grandmother’s and that is saying something. They are beautifully caramelized, lots of nuts, and the crumb is moist and buttery. My wife had a butter croissant. She said it was big, buttery but that it lacked the crackly exterior that makes a croissant special. My only other disappointment is that my allergies were acting up so I could not tell if there was much aroma from the kitchen!

I was seeking a bakery that could deliver my 50th bday cake to Seven Springs Winery, it's in such a bakery desert area. The owner and chef Jenny, was so accommodating! They baked the most moist, flavorful cake and cupcakes I have had in my 50 yrs!! Also, it was delivered and set up on time. I am so grateful!

When I was kid, spending summers at the Lake, we would all look forward to Mr. Bairds ice cream, the Kennon House, and going to the Texaco station to get biscuits. I love that my daughter gets to have a lake tradition of her own. Jenny Cakes is amazing. Come get a coffee and a doughnut. It's worth it.

Jenny Cakes is a must when at the lake. I don't much care for desserts and sweets, but I love EVERYTHING at Jenny Cakes. Key Lime Pie Tarts, cookies, cupcakes, pastries. You literally cannot go wrong. The staff is always so lovely. Being from DC I love walking into a business and being able to feel the employees' heart and soul.

Our 1st visit. We were waited on quickly and the servers were very nice. The donuts were very fresh and tasty. We enjoyed everything we ordered and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely return.

I had a sticky bun and cold latte. VERY DELICIOUS! The staff are very nice, polite, and helpful. There is seating inside or outside on the covered porch. Most everyone sits on the porch that overlooks the lake. I will go again!

Tried Jenny’s Cakes at the Lake. Very nice atmosphere with inside and outside dining. I did not find the young lady who waited on me to be friendly since this is a newer business. I ordered an assortment of donuts and a bagel. Even though the order was pricey, I did not mind as I expected a gourmet eating experience. I found the blueberry donuts and apple fritters to be very dry, tasted old. The sour cream donut was also dry. Definitely was not a gourmet experience. I found the donuts to just be average tasting donuts from any grocery store. I will say the bagel was tasty. Will not be back for donuts, not impressed.

Yummy! Ok, so I don't eat gluten often. It's always a treat, so I want the best cupcake if I'm going to have a cupcake. I found it. Jenny Cakes at the Lake have wonderful cupcakes!! Even better than any I've had in Raleigh. We found Jenny's late on a Saturday morning, so there were not many options for anything but cupcakes. They are delicious!! I can't wait to try their doughnuts and bagels. Probably should get there early during lake season. Perfect place to pick up an assortment of goodies when you're hosting a house full of folks. The ladies were super friendly and informative when we stopped in. Great coffee too! So glad to have found this place. I did see they offered gluten free baked goods. They must be really good, because they were all out.

Delicious pastries! Gluten free options as well were good! Croissant was fluffy, cinnamon rolls melt in your mouth! Definitely recommend for a stop (we'll become a regular there soon enough).Can't wait to try more items next time!Prices were also very good!Update: sticky bun was also delicious!

Jenny Cakes is the best thing to happen to Littleton in the 20 years I've been coming down here. The food is so good, I would let them slap me across the face with a cronut and thank them for it.

Everything I have gotten there is top drawer, without exception! I love a good scone, but all too often store/bakery bought ones run on the dry side and too much like a biscuit. They might be cousins, but a biscuit is a biscuit and a scone a scone. Jennycakes are moist, flavorful, and not heavy. Kudos

I stopped by the bakery to try one of the donuts a couple months ago while in the area. Purchased one donut as I headed on to my appointment close by the Baker. After my appointment i stopped by again for a dozen donuts to bring home to share with our lake friends. A couple weeks later I made a trip across the lake for more donuts and I wanted to try the cronuts. The cronuts were even better...cost more but absolutely worth it.I fully understand the reason why cronuts cost more.Well, this am I crossed the lake again ( 30 minute drive one way) to satisfy my cronut craving however today i was disappointed in the cronuts because it did not taste fresh- good but not fresh. I understand the items are advertised as cooked fresh daily but today felt something was off. I will go back for second chance.
