This 2 star hotel deserves a 5 star rating. We stayed at this place in February and hotel was fully booked . Hotel is small with limited rooms but very well maintained and I must say bedding and linens were so crisp and clean that I was the blown away . Even 4 and 5 star hotels beddings are so basic and not clean.Price was so reasonable. Please give business to this owners. I will definitely book again. I would give them 10 points for clean bedding and linen.

Nestled in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Linville Falls Lodge & Cottages offers a serene retreat. One of the highlights of my stay was exploring the surrounding natural beauty. Wiseman's view overlooking Linville Gorge and Linville Falls, a short drive away from the lodge, is a must-visit attraction. The breathtaking waterfall cascades into a gorge, offering spectacular views and excellent hiking opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, the lodge's proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway provides easy access to scenic drives and hiking trails, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the stunning landscapes of the region. Overall, my experience at Linville Falls Lodge & Cottages was truly memorable. From the warm hospitality to the comfortable accommodations and breathtaking surroundings, every aspect exceeded my expectations. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or an outdoor adventure, this hidden gem in the Blue Ridge Mountains offers the perfect setting for a rejuvenating escape.

My husband and I wanted a little get away between Christmas and New Years! We picked Linville Falls and found this little charm of a place to stay. The cottage was so adorable and had everything we needed. It felt like a home away from home. Our cottage was very clean with a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a very cozy den. Very close to Linville Falls and Caverns. 30 min. drive to the ski slopes. We highly recommend staying here!

Cutest hotel! Wendy and Betty were so friendly and helpful! We had a minor issue and they corrected it right away - it made our family trip SO much better. The room was clean and the aesthetics were on point. The rooms were in line with the mountainous atmosphere, something lost on the chain hotels. Everything was so just so nice. We will definitely be back.

This is a great little get away spot away from the Hussle and bussle..but so close to anything you want to do in the mountains. We came here for our 5 year anniversary and had an amazing and romantic time, even though it is January cold and was even a bit snowy. We had a lot of great memorable moments!! Honestly can't wait to go back! We plan on making this spot our resting place when we visit the mountains from now on!! The staff are very helpful and can show you all the best spots around, and really give a humble cozy feel... Something that seems to get lost as you are driving back down the mountains..

I had a wonderful stay here. Cute place, well kept, had beautiful gardens. Rooms were clean, bed was clean and comfortable: soft white clean sheets, fluffy pillows. Bath was small but clean. I had a glorious hot shower. Staff always helped in every way they could. It was centrally located to everything I wanted to do. Quiet. I had everything I needed at a great price. Did I mention it was a super cute place?!Rooms: Clean and comfortable. Small but I slept in a queen bed.

Cute place and in a great location in relation to all of the activities we'd planned. The rooms are small and cozy, and even though it was completely booked it was super quiet during our stay. Only staff interaction we had was with the gentleman who checked us in but he was very friendly and took the time to make suggestions on things to do in the area. This is a family owned business and it shows. I'd recommend this place if you're looking to unplug for a few days.

What a gem of a place for the price point!! Lovely landscaping, cozy, very clean room with nice bedding, light breakfast included and in a perfect location! No in-room wifi, small but adequate bathroom, and no central heat and air, but a nice ceiling fan and wall heater with more than adequate heat. You won't do any better for the price! We would love to come visit again!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this thowback to the early days of motor touring. The Lodge is quaint and clean and the staff is very friendly. Perfect location just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and and adjacent to the Linville Gorge Wilderness. The breakfast nook give you enough to start the day and you can park right by your room in a peaceful and quiet setting. Spotty cell service and a wifi only available in the lobby enhance the experience of being out in this beautiful area. I definitely recommend it if you are travelling on the parkway,

This cute and cozy lodge was an absolutely perfect place to completely disconnect from life and enjoy nature! If you are looking for that Tiny House feel but with plumbing, this is perfect. For king bed rooms, there's a coffee machine in the room and a breakfast nook with the basics. The best part for me was that it was only a half mile from Linville Falls hiking trails which are beautiful! There is a general store across the street that makes hot pizza and wings. A restaurant is across the intersection but it was closed for the season. The staff at the Lodge were very helpful and extremely informative. Rooms were clean and I loved the real wood all throughout. The ceiling fan was a wonderful addition. The showers are currently being renovated (3/2023). Even in March the grounds were well maintained and beautiful. I do wish I would have been a few weeks later in the year to see the rhododendron all in bloom. I would definitely recommend this Lodge for getting away from connected life and enjoy the nature you will be surrounded by.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay all around. The owners were extremely nice and took the time to give us all the information about the property as needed. Great location right near Grandfather Mountain and not too far from Sugar Mountain. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend anyone who doesn't care about cell service to stay here as well. Phenomenal experience!

Loved it here and plan to come back. Had a two bedroom cottage equipped with everything you can possibly imagine, full size brand new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen (including dishwasher), spotless white tiled brand new bathroom with glass sink, and beds you don't want to get out of. It was clean and spotless and immaculate. If you need to get AWAY, this is the place - about as far deep as you can get in the woods and still have ALL the comforts of home including satellite service on a flat screen. Thank you Miss Betty, I look forward to my next visit

Awesome little place to stay if your in the area. Pam and Wendy treat you like family. Rooms were clean and they had everything we needed. Only downfall is no Wi-Fi except at the lobby area and cell signal is super bad. But other than that this place is great for that mountain living feel.

Everything was as advertised. This was a cozy, clean and off the grid place. The landscaping was beautiful. We would stay here again. Here are a few things to keep in mind:1. Breakfast is an ultra light continental breakfast. It is enough to get you started. Bring snacks and plan to go out for larger meals.2. You will not have cell service. There is one spot near the registration office where you will have the WiFi you need to call home. This location is surrounded by federal lands so satellite is the only thing available (for TV, etc.)3. Bring toiletries. They provide soap.4. There is one restaurant nearby but it was closed over the July 4th weekend. There is also a general store nearby.5. If you want to use the fire pit, bring what you need with you to start a fire.6. There is no air conditioning in the room, but in July it still cooled off and became comfortable later at night.7. Bring entertainment for children that doesn't require internet access.8. There was no landline phone in the room. Prepare your family to hear from you intermittently if you choose to call at all.Enjoy!!!

First, I'd like to comment on few reviews below about wifi. If you're going to a beautiful place in the mountains to unwind, enjoy the nature and spend time with company with a good glass of wine, wifi is not the issue here. My friends stayed at one of the rooms before and this time we rented and stayed as a group for two nights in Manor House and it was perfect for everyone for our Birthday celebrations. Double beds were extremely comfortable! We loved the wrap around porch, stocked kitchen and large bathrooms. Place was booked for entire weekend but it was as if we were the only house there. My only slight downside was that fireplace didn't work (Wendy did tell me they will be replacing it), weather was great so we sat around by the fire pit instead. Worth the drive, scenery. The Vinery that's 3 miles away is also amazing to check out, they had live music on a Sunday. (And if you do need service, just stay put by the office while making a call / text / post). Will definitely come back again.

Absolutely great place with kind and amazing staff! Location is perfect to make the most of hiking and exploring the linville gorge as you are near some of the best hiking spots. Also right down the road from the liville falls winery and the tin trout, places we would highly recommend visiting.
