I was thrilled to happen upon this adorable mountain general store. That had the cutest things in there, and the lady working was so sweet!! Bonus, it was starting to snow right when we got there before heading to Banner Elk for more snow!! Can't wait to go back!!

Thank God for this adorable little store. Otherwise there’s nowhere to use the bathrooms in Linville Falls.Not a big variety of things just a small general store upstairs. I’m not sure about downstairs offered some pizza and other things if you’re hungry.The only reason I didn’t give this place is because of the markup that they have on if you have to use a debit or credit card it was pretty unfair, especially since you couldn’t use the bathroom without buying something.

A true American General Store with a rich and distinguished history. Here, you can find all your goodie needs and then some. Whether you need groceries or camping supplies, this is a one-stop shop. They even sell firewood for those of you wonder. Wonderful general store and is worth a visit.

Great stop for needs along the way! We headed up hwy 105 and had drinks and snacks for that long ride! 😁 Worth the stop either way because Boone is also quite the drive! Friendly people.

This is what I would expect from an old time mountain store. As a general store, it's named just right. This place has everything from headache meds to fishing supplies. There is even a pizza and snack bar. The store has a down stairs, so it's larger than it looks from outside.

Not the nostalgic general store I would expect but they did have some fun finds and snacks. Nice selection of local beers and it smelled delicious with the hot pizza they make. However, I was shocked to see the signs stating that masks were required to enter yet the young man working didn't wear one at all - even when he was making a pizza for someone.

This store is Absolutely WONDERFUL!! We found delicious snacks and drinks that aren’t commonly found ! We also found a great metal storage basket for our RV. They have fresh food, supplies, decor, groceries, etc. also firewood ! Excellent customer service :)

This place was fun… could use a dusting. It’s upstairs and downstairs. Information on nearby hikes, lots of maps, food, drinks, some grocery and general store items. I bought antifreeze. People were friendly but I was shocked at the lack of local touristy stuff. Like t shirts, hats that say Linville Falls or something? I maybe saw 1?

Neat little general store. Good place to stock up for a weekend camping trip. Owners were friendly. Nice place to sit out on the porch and rock while you have a snack.

Car broke down not far from here. Ended up hitchhiking a ride to this lovely little store. Came for help. Stayed for the hospitality. Dana and the other family employees of Linville falls general are just so kind and warm. Their selection is that of organized chaos & complete mystery and definitely worth a stop in just to look! They also have a downstairs with more gear. Beautiful location. Great porch. THEY DON’T SELL TOBACCO, only a wide variety of legal cbd products and a couple of vape options. But truly they have most everything else! Love this store ♥️♥️♥️

Great little general store with a huge variety of gifs, food and drinks. Perfect stop for a trip to many nearby hiking and nature trails. Camping and hiking gear downstairs. Also have pizza that smelled great.

Great general store with most if not all that you would need for a quick stop at the store. I always stop in for a soda or Knick nacks to bring home as souvenirs. Make sure to stop by and support this store while your in town.

We were on a trip through Western NC, and almost everyone was friendly and welcoming. This store was one of the exceptions. The staff here did not seem interested in helping us at all, and the only interaction between us and the staff was being asked to close the door on the way out. It wasn’t even a polite tone, which kind of ruined the mood for me. While in the store, the people there didn’t seem to acknowledge us at all. I was thinking about getting a light snack, but the atmosphere led me to not bother getting anything at all. Not to mention that a lot of the items were overpriced. If you are gonna run a store, at least be nice to your customers. I understand that it is difficult to manage a small business, but it is no excuse to treat people you haven’t met like garbage.

Amazing place, a must for anyone looking for something to do. Make sure you change your camera settings before entering. It's dark and you'll want to take pics. It's beautiful. Also stop by the river right outside.

Lovely little store up in the mountains. Filled with many souvenirs to take home. Very clean and lovely atmosphere. Got some jams there and rocks and pizza. Me and my kids loved it.

There is so much here, if you can't find it, you don't need it. Great selection of beer, wine and "buzz balls". Snacks galore. Some really awesome home decor and knick knacks. I could have spent hours here. The girls were pleasant and so helpful!!!!

Great local-folks General Store- intersection of Hwy 183 and Hwy 221- Linville Falls Hwy- Be careful- Speed Limit in this quaint historic community is 35 mph- Drop in and say “Hello!” to Martha- also a great real estate broker! They keep long hours and you can get something to eat from their in-store kitchen!

Wow! The folks that own and run this awesome little store are exactly what one would expect from western North Carolina. What nice people. The store is filled with plenty of local artsy crafty items and the feeling within the store is that of a cozy mountain cabin. They also prepare food right there behind the counter. Just a fun little store to stop in for a quick bite, gift, or cold drink.
