The employees need to communicate with each other at the very least. Buying a floor model mower should not take 2 1/2 hours of waiting for a 10 minute unlock and load transfer. We understand lack of staffing, but not lack of communication between associates to where everyone there seemed confused and even suggested we wait until next Wednesday so they can order another one AFTER we had already paid and went to pick up the trailer.

Went to get 5 bags of garden soil advertised as 5 for $10.00. First of all every time I go to the garden center to get soil or mulch there are never, ever any flatbed carts to be found! You have to go out in the parking lot to search for one! Then, I go to get said soil and the spot is empty! 2 days left on the sale and they are out! I go to "customer service" to get a rain check, and the kid at the desk says "We don't do rain checks" ! "When we're out we're out".How in the hell is this right, when the sale doesn't end for two more days? I'm done with Lowe's!

Love this location! We’re here visiting and the garden center in Lincolnton, NC is wonderful. Lots more variety than our store in Florida.

October 28 I bought a gas grill ($249+Tax) I had to pay transportation ($65). When trying to turn it on, what do you think? That's right, it didn't work. I went to change it, paying again for transportation, but it couldn't be changed, the other two were worse!!! They do not inspect their products. They finally gave me my money back, ugh. If you see those grills for sale (Linconton) don't buy it, those grills don't work! Look at the photo, the lighter is broken, it is very stained with dirt, I tried to clean it, but the stains do not come off, it is also missing pieces

Horrible experience and cheats / dishonest people at this store! Customers BEWARE! Found a great deal on a chainsaw and was even told they had one in stock but then when I asked to purchase it, it suddenly disappeared! Crazy right, then they also had a large machine / lifter in front of the sale item / area, so things just aren’t adding up, sweet young girl up front seemed like she knew what happened and was really nice but whoever runs the chainsaw department there is a crook and Lowe’s management and cooperate needs to know what they got going on there! I will take my business else where from now on, sadly I have a $50 gift card to Lowe’s from Christmas that I tried to use to purchase a gift card after this unfortunate incident with but they also wouldn’t let me do that either so I’m stuck with it sadly but never again will I spend a penny with Lowe’s. Home Depot / Harbor Fright from here on out for me. God bless.

Embarrassing effort. We replaced our carpet in the entire house, tile, and kitchen floors through Lowe's Lincolnton. When the installer came the first time to do tile the transition strips were not delivered to us and the installer had to delay. The second time they came and we did have the transition strips, Lowe's sent the wrong size. On top of this there was a rebate special going on, but the correct rebate form was never provided, it doesn't have the number on the receipt and the form they provided to us when we went back is for a completely different rebate promo altogether. Why is it so hard to get a rebate card and the proper materials?? The contractor also kindly let us know that they sold us almost twice as much material than we needed for the tile project including 2x4's which we never even needed. Never again will we go through Lowes .Update 9/29: I had called in again last week and they put a work order in to fix the tile. We've contacted 3 other phone numbers and talked to 7 total people about the rebate all to no avail. When I called to check on the work order today they didn't have record of it as active but when they called the installer they told them they did have a workorder submitted by Lowe's but were waiting for lowes to provide the reducing strips again. It has become comically frustrating how terrible Lowe's operates. Please, it is not worth doing any project through Lowe's. They will NOT get anything done properly apparently and they are actually running a fraud when it comes to their rebates, just Google Lowe's rebate and you'll see what I mean. It's very real. I attached a photo of the rebate for Lowe's since they can't seem to locate it when we call.

Called to check on an order and was told ti call the vendor myself. Spoke to Natalie the manager. And she told me the same thing.Then called me a lier. Because she said I wanted an answer today. I knew it would be Monday before I got an answer. But they never offered to follow up with a call.LOWES HIW ARE YOU TRAINING YOUR MANAGERS???I spend a lot of money with this store every year. All we want is customer service when we need it.

Not one register with a person. It's all self check out now and when I needed help today at 2:15 pm, because I'm not a cashier, I'm a customer, the Lowes employee was completely rude!I'll drive to Gastonia to Home Depot before I shop here at the Lincolnton Lowe's again. They have actual cashiers there that are willing to help!Get it together Lowe's.. Fire those email employees who clearly don't want to be there and that don't do their jobs.Until then I'll take my money to Home Depot.

On Feb 3 I went to Lowe’s Lincolnton nc I walked into the garden shop(they were not busy) I ask a young man if he would pull 8 fence panels to the front of the store while I purchased the lumber to install the and he said that he would. He gave me a bar code label so that I could pay for them. I went and dug through the lumber to find straight pieces paid over $600 and went back to the garden center and the panels were not there I asked the cashier and he told me to go to customer service so I did. Only one customer service rep and was taking an extremely long time with one customer which I understood however there was 5 others in line so I went to the checkout and told a lady what was going on and was told to go back to customer service. I had already loaded 2x4 and 4x4s so I drove back around to the pro entrance and unloaded my stuff and went in and got a refund. I complained to the mgr and he did not seemed concerned. I was there for 1 hour and 40 minutes No more Lowes for me

They're still learning the new online ordering pick up process, 2nd order I've went to pick up and there was nobody in the pick up line except for me both times yet I still had to wait 10 to 15 minutes before someone finally made it back there to help me and then on both occasions they had to run all over the store just to find my order. I'll give them an E for a good effort on the customer service portion but a huge fail on the order readiness portion and prompt service portion. I'm sure they'll get better in time.

I bought the combo gas, charcoal, and smoker. Also bought the stand up smoker. I have had my grill for 3yrs now it does stay outside with the pit boss cover however the inside of the gas grill is rusted out can't even put the grates back in. With what I paid its definitely not worth the money. The stand up smoker I bought last year will not feed the pellets through. I will never buy another one never. They will not warranty it even though I used their cover. I basically wasted over 1300 dollars for 3yrs of grilling and not even 1 yrs of smoking. Sorry Pit Boss you do not measure up to others. Im very disappointed to spend this much and basically loose it all. I will look into other grills and smokers.

They have removed all checkout lanes. All are self service. If you are trying to use military discount you have to wait for someone to come over and verify your ID! We had to wait for 10 minutes for someone to assist us. WHY? I think start we'll start going toHome Depot!

I had given Lowe's a 3 star review because of the lack of help I had received but I changed my review to 5 star, So the reason is I had gone to lowes and not somewhere like Ace or a smaller hardware store, was because it was passed 6pm and they were all closed..... The smaller stores you can always get someone to help you find & get get what you need or give you ideas on how to finish fix the problem........ I figured it would be a waste of time to go to Lowes but I man I was wrong I didn't get the employee's names but he asked me if I needed help, yes he asked me, I didn't have to press a call button, or hunt him down! The items that I needed wasn't in the correct spot, but he said that the computer was showing 5 on hand so after looking for a while we still couldn't find the item we had gotten the other few pieces that I needed and without this piece I wasn't going to be able to get my project finished.... so he asked if I don't mind could he ask what I was working on? After telling him he gave me his idea on how to get it fixed which ended up working better than my original plans, it was more simplified and also was cheaper, requiring me to buy less parts and less work, so instead of trying to upsell me a bunch of stuff he actually tried to help me save money and get my project done with less time and work!! He went above and beyond the average employee, he talked to me as a friend not so much as a customer or someone who he had to help because it was his job, and he made sure that I had everything that I needed before I left to keep me from making a return visit so I am changing my review to a five-star of course and I wish more employees would to be like this gentleman was,,, I just hate I don't remember his name but the next time I'm in Lowe's I will look and see if I can find him and I will give you an update on the gentleman's name. This was definitely one of my best experiences I've ever gotten from Lowe's or any hardware store for that matter. So if you are that employee that helped me, thank you sir I wished the world had more people like yourself and I finish my project it turned out great!

So I was with lowes for 13 years, all at the same store, during which we won store of the year 3 times, so I have very high standards and normally, this store is a DUMP. However today, they actually met my expectations, had everything I needed. Major plus compared to normal, they actually had carts ready to use on the concrete aisle! This is far for the norm for them, so today, you get 4 stars.

Stopped at lowes in Lincolnton to buy lumber for a project. Picked out everything I needed and paid around 500 dollars. Two employees loaded it on my trailer, which helped me a lot. Got home and started on my project. Good prices and good people. Thanks Lowes

Lowe's has went down hill... this has been the worse service I've received from Lowe's. I bought a washer and dryer, was told that they would be able to set everything up, but when the delivery driver got here to hook up everything, he said that they do not hook up the dryer vents. then once he got out the washer and dryer, he wanted me to come outside to show me that the dryer was severely damaged. so I said that's fine. Just put the washer in the house. And I'll wait on a new dryer. I've been told so many stories to just call back in a week, and they'll see if they have it in stock, and then they'll set up a delivery. Well thinking about that, I called lows to let them know what the problem was. So then they said, well, we'll just come and get the washer. Pick it up and then the same delivery person. They will refund me the money for the washer and dryer. So it's fixing to be over 2 weeks. No washer and dryer also to be told. They'll call me to set up a time when they'll be here to pick up the washer. Just totally bad service and communication. I don't think you should just have to sit by your phone to get details. Lowe's lost a good costumer. It will take up to 3 weeks after they do pick up the washer before I get my refund and my Lowe's payment will be due before then. Just not right it you plan on buying something and it needs to be delivered ask a lot of questions before you do it!

Be better off shopping somewhere else. Customer service is non existent.11/20/23. Slightly better experience, but do not place a pick up order unless you are willing to wait for them to gather all your items in the store after you check in .. I thought the pick up option was to expedite your shopping. Was the only pick up customer too. 30+ minutes waiting to pick up an order that is supposed to be ready for pickup is ridiculous.

Long overdue review! This review is for Elliot. I needed help in the lumber department and he went above and beyond. See when I need to go to Lowe’s I go online and put everything I need in the online cart that way when I get to the store I can look at each item and see which isle and bay to go to. So when I said Elliot went above and beyond he helped me by looking up each item and taking me directly to it also helping give alternative options and when we couldn’t find the few thing we were looking for he asked his coworker and we were able to work around it. Easiest Lowe’s experience ever. Thanks Elliot, I appreciated all your Help.

The people that work here are unprofessional and extremely lazy and rude I usually buy at least one power tool a month well while I was waiting on paint to get mixed I was approached by a boy with a very nasty attitude wanting to know what I was doing I told him waiting on my boss to get paint mixed he acted like he didn't believe me so I walked off he followed me asking what my boss looked like. OMG really first of all I didn't come in here to be harassed I am a paying customer and for someone to make an assumption otherwise with no proof or reason is uncalled for and I promise that will be the last time I spend money there HOME Depot will get all my business and anything I can't get there I'll get from Amazon because Lowe's is like a visit to the ghetto where they don't trust anyone and that act like they are under attack without reason

Good place to find what you need. A bit pricey for some stuff that is made poorly. My problem is the staff. Every single staff member I ask for help was rude. 2 of them said they would be with me once they got done helping another customer, ok I understand that. Buy then after waiting 10 mins I walked back over and the staff member was gone. I found another and was told the same thing. Again I waited, and again I was stood up. After finding what I needed by my self, after having to climb the shelf almost to the top. I made it a point to find each one of those staff members. I asked did you forget about me. One said no he didn't forget, he just had to take his lunch. The other one said that he had something to do that he forgot. Then at self checkout. The lady stood right there with me and watched me pay for everything. But then said she needed to see my receipt and look in my bag. No, I don't think so. I told her, you stood over me like I was going to steal something, then you going to ask that? I told her she wasn't seeing my receipt and walked out. The staff needs better training. And that lays with the manager.

Don't even bother trying to return something. I guess their policy has changed, because now you have to SHOW YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE even if you bring the receipt. Walmart is cheaper for the same quality anyway.
