Christmas Eve, this store refused to accept an older $100 for payment. Even after the manager checked it for being counterfeit and it was not, they wouldn't accept purely based on its age. Not only were the needed groceries not purchased, but also humiliated as well! This manager and cashier need to be educated on how the different currency looks, and just because it doesn't look like this newly printed $$ doesn't mean it's not acceptable.

Nice clean store. Friendly meat market crew, they know how to run that department. Well stocked grocery. The front end associates could use a bit more training in customer service, I get they don't want to be there. (Who likes working with the public anymore?)I digress, this small item will not affect the overall rating of the store.

Get your Thanksgiving turkey now! Food Lion has them on sale for .29 per pound. I bought two turkeys, both over 15 pounds for $4.00 each!!!!! That's an insane price.I have three freezers so I will go get a couple more probably. I own a deli slicer which is handy for lots of meat at once. That sure beats the sliced deli price of $10.99 per pound, right?

While I was at self checkout a few weeks ago, I witnessed a blonde short older lady with a vest on, I'm assuming the manager, argue with a customer and even told him that she would clock out to get physical with him. I debated on letting my child work here but if their are managers as unprofessional as her I don't think so .

Very clean and seemed well stocked and very many choices. Plenty of room to shoo with your fellow neighborhood shoppers. I've not been to Food Lion in a while and was impressed at the store

This Food Lion is a favorite. Their produce is much fresher than many stores. I watched the sales, especially in the meat department and the soft drinks. It's a good, clean, friendly store.

They used to have a wing bar at four everyday. Each time I’ve checked in the past two months, it’s not out at four. Don’t know when they open it. Don’t know anything now.

The store was nice and clean and well stocked. That being said customer service was horrible. Do you know how aggregating it is to hear the cashier talk nice to the couple in front of me, only to have her not say anything other than my total to me. When she gave me my change she about threw it at me. I stood there for a moment thinking " did that really just happen?". Yes it did. Even my daughter picked up on the cashier's attitude. This was my first and last time in this Foodlion. Such a shame.

Clean store, friendly workers, and their Primo bottle return cage actually works and prints out refund stubs!09APR24 Update: The bottle return has stopped printing out refund stubs, but you can still get the exchange price when you return your empty bottles instead of paying full price.

The male cashier was not knowledgeable on how to properly use my Humana food card and would not have been able to get my groceries because of it. But one of the cashier's that was their off the clock heard the problem and this kind lady stepped up and used her personal debit card and paid for my groceries. Just had to call back down to the food Lion on the west side of Lincolnton off of 27 they've got slices of ham labeled as beef cube steak it didn't dawn on me till I got home and looked at this picture that I took

First time shopping with this store in Lincolton. I only needed an few items. But after I started noticing they had much more items that I usually dont see at my regular food lion store in Cherryvile. So, i found alot more bargains that i could use.Very clean store ,very well organized too. They had some freezers without lights on but they were working very hard on them that day to get them fixed.Didnt bother any customers everyone continued to shop.I will be shopping here more since they have an huge variety of items I dont see at my local food lion. But I'm an Food Lion Fan no matter.

This Food Lion has great service and caring employees. It's undergoing a remodel and almost done as of Aug19/22. It has definitely improved especially in being able to keep up with customer demand and overall choice in brands.

On two occasions I’ve been in this store when other customers have brought in their pets( dogs) . These aren’t service dogs, just dogs on leashes. I pointed this out to management, and was told there is nothing they could do about it! They prepare food here! Is this sanitary?!? Really?

This is the biggest of all the Food Lion stores I have been in to and it's always well stocked with everything! The employees are very friendly and will help you with your needs. I LOVE this Food Lion, it's my favorite one to go to!

Clean store and helpful service, but NO ATM!! that's what I was looking for! The bank in front of it is no longer a bank, it is being renovated to be an ABC Store. Food Lion would only give up to $100. cash back when you bought something, that is there rule, but still clean, nice and over all helpful and kind customer service!

Variety .Excellent fresh produce. Clean. They actually have lots of items from small companies. Ice cream, cheese, chips, etc that are outstanding. They also bag your groceries!!!!!!! The prices are better than you would expect. I'm impressed and thankful for this little gem.
