I could find everything I needed in this store even though it was my first visit. An item in the freezer section was not on the shelf and an employee went to the back to see if there was any back there. That was great customer service! The employee at checkout was courteous as well! The sale items I was shopping for were readily available with enough items to purchase several of each. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

So in the last few years food lion overall have started to let me down and this one is no exception. First I'd like to know whose brilliant idea it was to fill the insane amount of pot holes in the parking lot with gravel. Staff was far from rude, but still left quite a bit lacking, adding to the difficulty in getting into the shopping center, far from my favorite.

The store was clean and the shelves were stocked with what I was looking for. The deli rotisserie chicken was really good. The cashier that rang me up was friendly and seemed to be having a really good day (she was dancing a little).

This is my "go-to" store for most groceries. I see the same people quite often and they are always friendly and helpful. Great feeling when you shop here.

They rarely answer the phone & when you finally do get someone, they'll leave you on hold for quite awhile & then eventually hang up on you! But I will say when you do go to shop, everyone is very nice & willing to help. They just don't like to answer the phone that much.

I love this store! Usually pretty well stocked, helpful employees, and the prices are reasonable. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because when I went in with my son around 730 last night, the cashier was coughing, had a runny nose, and with the same hands, touching our bags and food! Please keep your employees out if they're sick! I have health issues already and certainly don't need a cold on top of it. For the sake of both your loyal customers and employees, please don't let this happen.

I like shopping here. Staff is helpful, they have almost everything I need, except I can never find Guiness beer, which is very important, especially around St. Patrick's Day. But overall, a good experience.

Stopped in to get some groceries for the weekend. We were able to find everything we were looking for as well as found everything very affordable. Vegetables and fruits looked great. We are new to NC, and have not previously signed up for Food Lion, but the cashier helped us sign up for the rewards card at the kiosk. After entering are information it printed I out the temp card and the cashier already had everything bagged up and ready to take payment. Overall a great experience.

Just felt like giving a big shout out to Hannah(cashier) Always plesant and never forgets to give me all of my bags despite being very quick. She also never bags raw meats in with other foods(pet peeve of mine) People like this never get enough appreciation. You go girl, keep on shining bright!

The cashier “Joyce” has a VERY NASTY ATTITUDE. From the moment I walked in didn’t feel welcomed. Then I got to the register and she got upset over giving me cashback and proceeded to argue with me about it being 100$ limit when I KNOW ITS 200$.. and then still kept going being disrespectful. Completely unacceptable and it isn’t just Joyce there are others that have the same attitude and it’s very distasteful makes you not even want to shop here . I know I spend roughly 1400 a month on groceries I’ll be taking that money elsewhere !!! Poor hiring decisions reflects on this . Hardly any of them have any customer sefvice but a few ladies there

It is amazing what a determined leader willing to do what it takes to succeed can accomplish. A while ago I stopped going to the Lincolnton Food Lion because of bad customer service, products all over the shelves not lined up in order and a general I just don't care attitude that you could feel from 90% of the staff. Well someone at Food lion corporate must have noticed because, things have changed. Along came a new store manager named Maverick. He is awesome! You will see him around the store actually working, checking to make sure things are looking right. Maverick greets customers with a friendly smile and a nice hello how are you. He has hired new associates and trained them in how to do there jobs the right way. The new associates are friendly, talk to you and pack up your groceries the right way. One man on a mission to turn a store around and he did it! I will not have to drive an extra15 minutes to the Maiden Food Lion. I am now back to the Sanford road, Lincolnton store. I recommend you this store and remember to say hello to Maverick, you will find him somewhere around the store working hard to make sure things stay great!

Food Lion corporate office mails coupon sheets to customers. There were several coupons this month for items not sold at local stores. That is my only complaint. I shop Food Lion often & am rather pleased with the overall store cleanliness, good meats, fresh produce, friendly staff.

I shop here regularly and I have never been disappointed. And the manager needs a raise or a promotion. I would hate for him to leave his current location but he does go " the extra mile" all the time. And I am sure he gives his employees excellent training and support to be the best they can be!

Love this Food Lion. The staff and management are always so helpful and friendly. Im here several times a week. Absolutely best grocery store around. Grew up going to Food Lion with my parents. Still go there myself. Best prices. Best sales. Best coupons and incentives (shop and earn). Staff and management are awesome. My daughter looks forward to seeing certain employees when we go in. I go here several times a month.

Clean store..well stocked. They had milk and cereal whereas the big box store was out. No waiting at checkout. Friendly folks. Aisles clearly marked so items are easy to find.

I love Food Lion because I know where things are. All the staff are very helpful and pleasant. I would continue shopping here and refer others to your store. I will be back next month. Also my friend Julie Morgan was with me and she had an easy time getting around with the electric cart because she is disabled and using her chain just made it too difficult to shop so thank you she says for having an electric cart available.
