Your cashiers should use common sense when it comes to carding customers for ID. Especially when they don't scan the ID and instead visually verify and enter the date. A 40 year old individual shouldn't be asked for ID. I'm freaking old enough to be your dad..

There are two food Lions that are close to me. All other grocery stores are at least 20 minutes away. I am disappointed in both locations and are near me. As their shelves are half bear. I don't understand why a grocery store cannot keep their shelves stocked! The variety of items in these locations are very limited. One location is larger than the other. It does not have much of a produce department at all! Does seem to have more stock. But there is a very limited variety. The other location has a larger produce department and has half bare shelves. Which limits the variety of items even more. It seems with this issue that they would have one location that would be stocked with more variety larger produce departments and more of a variety / items that you would actually need. Considering that these two locations may be at most 10 minutes apart in distance.

Since remodel at Cornelius Harnett Blvd., Lillington, in April, 2024, they no longer carry brands and items I have bought for years there. Very displeased!!

Hmm, where should I start: Dirty outside, Staff always smoking outside right by the entrance where customers come in, low stock of items or no stock, no self checkout lanes, horrible deli, they use old oil to fry their food or they overcook items, little variety, rude staff, terrible management, all of the other local food lions within a 25 miles range way out perform this one. Can't say one good thing about it. The one in Angier has much better stock than this one and if you drive into Raleigh those are even better.

I don’t know what food lion put in those chocolate chip cookies but i’m addicted. For the less important part of my review, nice clean store with helpful employees, customer loyalty program for savings. What more can you ask for.Editing on 7 Oct 2023 to add: I have since found that chik fil a chocolate chip cookies taste better. I don’t buy food lion’s anymore.

I stop at this Food Lion because it's on my way home rather than going to the other Food Lion up the road from my house but I'm going to have to quit coming here the staff is very very rude especially management it's a shame the way things are nowadays

I wouldn't say I love it, I just like it. It is a typical grocery store. Nothing overly intriguing when it comes to selection, staff, or environment. I don't have any major issues at this location except I have noticed a huge difference in their produce section. But I wouldn't say is abnormal ever since COVID, seems like most stores are slacking on the department, mostly not of their own fault. Other than that the shelves, freezers, floors, etc. are usually clean and in good repair. 👍

Not bad store if you don't mind employees making out while shopping. A pecks on the checks ok, but being pick up and swapping spit.. highly unprofessional.

Very nice vegetable and fruit section. Always clean with a knowledgeable staff. No self checkout but the lines move fairly well. Gluten free options and section. Little over priced. Update..... with inflation it's becoming unreasonably priced ...they want nearly eight dollars for a loaf of bread!!!!

Both cashiers (1 for me & 1 for my mom) were great. They were funny & polite. The store seemed to have most things we needed. Some items on our list were simply not sold at this particular store at all.

All the people that I encountered in the store were so friendly. It wasn't extremely busy and I was in there around 1 p.m. the store is very clean nicely stocked and I required service at the service desk and they were very helpful. They are just some really nice folks in Food Lion. Since I'm new to the area I am going to make this my number one grocery shopping destination come on in and try it for yourself I feel certain you won't be disappointed!

I gave 3 stars because of the great employees I interacted with. However, this location (Hwy 401/421 intersection in Lillington) does not (cannot?) enforce mask wearing for customers. All of the employees were masked, but I was in there 30 minutes and counted 7 customers without masks. I had no intention of counting, but after seeing so many in such a brief time.....I also saw 2 dogs. One wore a service vest, but the other was being carried by one of the maskless men. Nice employees, but I won't shop there again because of the careless customers.

Food Lion is okay. Customer service is a hit or miss not always the friendliest bunch. Expensive. They lack in the healthier lifestyle/diet. Guess I was spoiled by Kroger. Their departure has left me with few choices. Trying to make the best I can with the budget. Hope customer service gets better that really matters.

Very good visit. I bought a rotisserie chicken that was leaking and the person at the counter gave me some tissues to clean the floor. They also gave me a bag to put the chicken in before I checked out. I also left my phone and the cashier brought it out to the parking lot to me.

We were in town for golf tournament and stopped by to grab snacks n drinks. Its a very clean store and well stocked. The employees were masked up and conducting safe covid practices.
