Never shopped at food lion. I am delighted! I saved money. The store in Lillington was so clean. Every associate I saw greeted me in one way or another. The manager of this store should be proud as should the employees. This is my new store!

The self checkout didn't want to ring up my rotisserie chicken. A cashier came to help me. She typed in $6.99. I showed her that it had a $5 sticker (it was cold). Instead of deleting and redoing, she put in a $1.00 coupon. That means I still paid .99 cents over.

Just don't go to Food Lion anywhere anymore. Let the company burn. Hardly any sympathies to employees either, most of them look and act miserable to customers regardless(because they know but cannot say it themselves). They can find work elsewhere anyway.

Everything I need is in this store and hopefully on sale. I do the shop and earn to get a few dollars back. It's always clean. Just wished they had more little carts to use while shopping

New cashiers are rude and look very unhappy. Not gonna call anyone out but if you frequent here you've likely noticed it too. No one makes yall work here folks. The morning lady who works the tobacco isle is the best though and overall most of the staff are really kind and helpful.

Closest food lion to me which makes the location convenient however I find myself constantly having to drive a few extra miles to the other, nicer food lion near the Sheetz as this food lion rarely has any edible produce available. Consistently has moldy and inedible produce for sale with no other fresh options. In addition to the lack of available produce the employees of both the food lion and the dollar tree are constantly smoking cigarettes at both entrances to the store, it would be a lucky day if you could make it inside without getting pelted by cigarette smoke.

The best service at this location. Especially in the deli and bakery. These ladies are always so polite, kind and friendly ❤💕. I had the pleasure of having Angela cut my meat and cheese she was so helpful and patient I know I can be undecided sometimes. But this young lady didn't mind she was awesome. I did feel a little upset at the customers before they were rude to me and her and they were already talking bout the young lady before she came to the counter saying stuff like she better come on now even though u could clearly see she writing on a cake. They were just being ignorant for no reason and when she was done and started taking orders they kept making comments like if she even messes up on they order they were going to call corporate and saying that that skinny rude black girl not bck there with her today and she lucky cause they don't care for her either like they had it out fir them . I don't know why they were so rude and ugly to this young lady but she was so sweet as she could be to them no matter wat they said she still kept a smile on her face and customer friendly the whole time. Way to go Angela kee up the good work hope I get u again and trust and believe I will be back I love shopping at this store

I really love this Food Lion. It is extremely clean produce was beautiful and fresh. One of the things that I like most about it is there were plenty of cashiers for check out. I get really frustrated when I have to wait in line a long time to buy my groceries. The restrooms were clean, staff was super friendly. The meat market was beautiful very nice steaks, roasts and chicken. I have no complaints about the store whatsoever.

Called to ask for information about a product if it was in stock. Heard the entire conversation on the back end and then got hung up on when I was trying to thank them for the information. not a welcoming place to shop from.

The newly remodeled store is neat and organized. Newer shelving has provided additional space in the aisles. Better refrigeration, and cleaner storage units. I enjoy shopping in this store, and the employees are polite and helpful. They have made great effort improving the store for their customers.

First time I’ve been to this location! I appreciate seeing the sign outside of the store but I have a problem When the store doesn’t abide by their own rules. They had a person sitting at the door I assume to ensure people had a mask on (which is A Great idea) but once I walked around the store I noticed it a lot of Patrons did NOT have a mask on and of course weren’t asked to leave or put a mask on! The Governor may not have to shut the State down if we just work together!!! The managers at this location need training to follow their own rules! I will Not ever come back to this location.

This store is okay if you're looking for quickly looking for some groceries or supplies that you need, but there are other stores with better materials and prices. In addition, their hiring process is a complete mess, so I would not recommend this store to anyone looking for employment, especially for entry-level positions.Overall, it's okay for shoppers; not good for jobseekers.

This food lion always has fresh fruits & vegetables. I only get my ovacodoes here, because of the taste and quality I've come to love, their meats are always freshly cut and prepared for sale, but they are a little pricey, but like everywhere prices have recently went way above affordable prices for me,so I have to wait for the sales paper and get what's on sale at the time of need. Store is always well stocked, clean & neatly organized and the employees here will take the time to help you find something you may need or answer a question you might have, I've cone to know if they dont know the answer they will automatically go get someone that does have the correct answer to your question, so check out fo8d lion at this location and see if you are also a satisfied customer, the location is convenient for me as well. Every time I visit this store, one employee stands out: Justin. He is the perfect example of customer service- genuinely asking about a customer's day, working hard to juggle helping multiple customers and fellow employees simultaneously, and getting you in and out of the store quickly, with a smile. Not sure if he is management or not, but he is a great person and hard worker, and makes the experience here top notch!

2nd time here since August 2020I surpringly had the same cashier- Grace. She was wonderful. Very polite, practiced covid, and made the children at my church Angier Church of God very happy by allowing one dollar bills for my change. I plan to add the dollars inside golden eggs for their Easter egg hunt tomorrow.Grace,-I look forward in seeing your happy self next visit.On a sad note, the in store bakery- deli department really needs an overhaul. Its the reason for 4 stars ( Grace) would have 5 stars. There were several bakery loaves (1/2's) with mold spots , date on package states the 3rd of April- today is the 2nd. The spots were there at opening, someone is not prepared for the day. As I stated, there were several loaves. Mold on bread begins pale white, dusty, this was straight up green- no way should this have been missed.I spent several minutes there as well as the adjacent deli area, 3 employees behind the counter...not one asked if I needed assistance or even offer a friendly hello.I also noticed the prepped deli meats/ cheese were less than appealing by sight. Packages did not have a fresh appearance at all. They looked like lots of handling, cloudy.Also, there was no fresh bread - whole loaves none sliced. What I did see was 2 sliced- again green mold on bread, dated to be last sold 4/4 this time......good grief.I did not buy at either counter.At approximately 1pm on a Friday before Easter, 15 cars parked in this Food Lion area, nit sure if all shopped the market, the store had less than 20 people shopping. Shelves were not rotated or properly stocked. Dairy case had expired yogurt and sour cream, also the freshest date was in front more often than not.Milk dates, all sizes, most brands were not properly rotated. Freshest dates up front, oldest dates were closer to the back. Unless someone played a rotten April Fools joke- this is another department not being properly taken care of.Plenty of shopping carts available, very few outside in appropriate stalls, no " rogue" carts were seen.I spent $ 25. And some change. This has been my experience today 4/2/2021- cash receipt reads 12: 32 pm at the Food Lion #1344 Lillington NC

5 stars from this guy! Great deli, customer care, fresh fruits and vegetables, nice selection of quality fresh meats, clean store, friendly and professional staff. They carry great selection of products throught this location. Sidenote the Western Union/money order kiosk is very quick and it's very easy to send or receive funds Keep up the great work guys.
