Waste of time. We had an appointment to get our vaccine. They wanted us to pay out of pocket $190 each. Come to find out later and a little research later, the CDC has a program for uninsured to get the Covid vaccine free. According to the CDC website we only need to go to participating pharmacies. Come to find out, this CVS is on the list that offers the vaccine under that umbrella. And AGAIN under the CDC instructions 'the pharmacy should have let us know about the program and given us the vaccines'. They wasted my time, all because somebody doesn't want to do their job...

This CVS Pharmacy by far is the worst pharmacy I have dealt with. I’m heading out of town for 6days. I called the pharmacy the night before to confirm I could get my prescription filled before leaving. I was instructed to call the next day and call at 10am because the Pharmacist doesn’t fill a new Rx until 10am. They open at 8am the Pharmacist starts on the Rx that come in or last night medications. Ok cool no problem . I get up take care of a few loose ends call the Pharmacy at 9:54 am. Tell them I want to get my medicine filled “Shocker” the lady on the phone says it will be ready at 12pm??? I did just explain I’m going out of town I waited till 10am to call as I was instructed the day before. I explained why I waited till 10am she said no if you want it ready at 10 you have to call at 8am ??? So the lesson I’ve learned is it doesn’t matter when you call my medication want be ready. I ask why was I told the process if it wasn’t true. She ask who I spoke with I didn’t know BUT it was a female. I told her the time I called last night she ask her coworker as she muffled the phone … no one spoke to you last night . Ok???? So now I need medication for something else “Like thinking people spoke to me at CVS when they didn’t”???? At the end of the conversation she said the Pharmacist we had quit so we have a floater (so the pharmacist can’t help you). This is not the first time this has happened so with or without a regular pharmacist at this location it’s still a hot mess. Some would like to say Covid caused this, lack of workers , lack of medicine, over worked workers. At the end of the day this is a management issue. It starts at the top, when you lack Management the “cookie” will crumble. I hope a patient that might need their Cancer medication don’t get this same treatment, inhalers, diabetic. No one takes accountability for their actions. CVS in Erwin on Jackson Blvd is a better Pharmacy. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LILLINGTON CVS.Or the incompetent work that answered the phone . Yea I heard what you said when you muffled the phone!
