I've taken my dogs there three times now and I'm very pleased with Ms Kathy and the other lady there that groom my two dogs. They do a great job AND my dogs seem happy to go. My little rescue dog is very anxious and doesn't trust anyone, but when I pick her up from grooming she is calm. That says a lot! (Ms Kathy holds her while blow drying her because she's too anxious to stand on the table.) Thanks for doing such a wonderful job and being so good to them. Defiantly recommend this place!

Kathy the owner is very rude took my Aussiedoodle there last week it was a mess nails trimmed rough, hair left long and uneven all over the place. She had beautiful eyelashes and the butchered them short. Called and all she said well I am not a mind reader for $135 I would expect excellence.If I could give no stars I would!!!!!!

The owners are great!! Kathy has been doing my golden retriever for two years. He always gets so excited when I tell him let’s go see her. My daughter usually takes him to get groomed and when he gets home he has to run around and show everyone his “new do”. It’s the cutest thing ever!!! It’s a bit of a drive for me but well worth it. Not to mention the price was cheaper than my local groomers. I couldn’t imagine taking him anywhere else. I highly recommend these ladies!!

I have 4 dogs and I will never take them anywhere except Ruff Life Grooming in Clemons! My dogs always come home smelling so wonderful and they love their spa day! My 17 old Australian Shepard loves it the most! You can tell she always feels sassy with her little bandanna! The customer service is amazing and they are always so willing to work with my crazy schedule! I also love the price! I have paid double at other groomers for half the service.In addition to their amazing service, I also love taking my dogs to Ruff Life Grooming in Clemons because the owners have a the biggest hearts! I work at the animal shelter and anytime we have an animal that comes to us in bad shape (grooming wise) they are willing to help us out! They will come and pick up our animal in need, treat them to a much needed spa day, and then bring them back to us so we can get them ready for adoption!!!! You can tell that the pups are so relieved to have had their grooming needs met! They also refuse to take payment from us so our money can go towards saving more animals! Now that is a business that I can fully support! Thank you Ruff Life Grooming! You guys are the best!

Found them on google and after reading some reviews & I decided this would be a good outing for me & my rescue for a nail trim. We're working on confidence in public bcs she's very shy and well I am too at heart. I called and asked if it would be ok to walk in for a nail trim and they were very kind and loving to my baby, they are cash only! Which I figured but im glad I stopped at the ATM. They gave her a healthy treat "nudges" which looked tempting even to me 😆 they gave me a lot of good tips to get my dog Pancake out there and socialized a little more. Overall it was a great experience. Very down to earth and trustworthy people. 10/10 [I wanted edit this to add that Pancake did not want to leave the premises lol, once she got outside she walked around a bit and went right back to the door and pawed as if to go back in and I think that says a lot💙] thank you ladies again

Kathy has been grooming my dogs for over 30 years and I would never let anyone else touch them. When I found her, another groomer had completely traumatized my dog to the point she was terrified of water. Kathy patiently worked with her until it was her favorite place to go. Kathy truly treats each dog as her own and does a beautiful groom. I guarantee that you and your dog will love her!

I called to inquire about my dog being groomed. She is elderly, but I have always groomed her to a T (deshedding, bathing, nails trimmed, hair trimmed). Lately I have been having back problems due to a herniated disc and couldn't do it. She literally scoffed on the phone and told me it was "too late to start now" in regards to professional grooming. I told her our shepherd was incredibly docile, still they wouldn't see her. She was so rude I was speechless. I am actually really thankful they said no, if they're like this on the phone, I can't imagine what they're like to the dogs when no one is looking.

I took my 5 year old mini Aussie rescue to visit Kathy and Shelly last week. He is terribly skittish, and prone to growl and even nip. He was extremely well groomed, and came home looking and feeling great! I'd highly recommend these ladies! Great job! And thank you.

We took our 10 month old puppy here this week and had a wonderful experience! Our puppy is very shy and timid. He went right to the groomer. She cut him just the way we wanted and took time to answer all of my questions! The groomer was very friendly. When I picked up our puppy he was excited to see me but also ran up to the groomer which tells me he was well lived and cared for while he was there the whole day! We will be back and already scheduled our next appointment. Thank you for caring for our puppy like he was your own!

I was on my way to Glenda's Grooming last week, but spotted Ruff Life Grooming on the way! (3 mins from my house vs 10 mins to Glenda's) Making a quick right turn, I walked in to see a clean waiting area and was immediately taken care of by Kathy despite interrupting her grooming the cutest dog. I asked how soon could I book my Doxie/Beagle and she said, "Right now, if you want! We had a cancellation this morning!" Awesome! She could have said "tomorrow" or "next week" to give herself a short day, but she didn't! Two hours later, she called to say I could pick up my best companion! Raise the flag! The last groomer I took her to had her in a crate ALL DAY before she called me! I was livid! Ruff Life Grooming is the best!

My Aussie, Rusty, looked and smelled great after his first visit. He didn't smell like wet dog and the clean smell lasted almost two weeks! The products used did not make him itch either. I am beyond pleased with Ruff Life's business. I just made our next appointment.

I made the mistake of taking my Saintberdoodle there to be groomed, without asking about their prices. My dog wasn’t desperately in need of grooming (hair not too long), I figured that 5-10 dollars give or take was inconsequential, I picked her up 8 hours later and was given a bill for $150.00 . My dog was at multiple groomers (8-10) before, and the highest I’ve ever paid was $85.00 and that was at Petsmart on Hanes Mall Rd. Like I said, I don’t mind paying a few dollars give or take, but this place’s prices was outrageous. That taught me a valuable lesson. Ask before you buy, If you decide to go there anyway, prepare to pay Park Avenue prices.

Our Border Collie looks great after her grooming at Ruff Life. She is quite suspicious of people but shows no concern about grooming here. Staff is great.

Very friendly and knowledgeable about what they do. I've taken my dog there 4 times and never had a problem. They always take extra time with her because her skin is sensitive. Would highly recommend this place!
