The broccoli lately has been seriously lacking. Either they're out of it, or it is disgusting. I'm not going to buy broccoli that is mostly YELLOW! Ew. On the upside, I arrived just as blueberries were being unpacked, so I grabbed a package.

Over priced as always as they say inside it's the convenience once again veggies are usually half bad if you don't use them up quick they're bad onions peppers potatoes and meat prices are too friggin high I stopped going to food lion again to each their own.

Gtrat place. Find myself in here about every day, sometimes multiple xs a day. Great place to shop, clean bathrooms, service is top notch and friendly. I recommend the deli most of all. The deli has a wide variety of Wonderful freshly cooked items everyday. anytime you want them they will cook anything for you. This place is my 2nd home..lol

I will add some photos this weekend.Anyway this is a great food lion, located in Tyro, Nc. The store is usually well stocked, the employees are generally nice, and the deli meats and vegetables are always fresh. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is simply because they do not have self checkout, they got rid of the children buggies(ride-in, and small push buggy), and lastly, sometimes the employees can make you feel uncomfortable by how they stare but do not speak. Other than that, this is a fantastic store. Location is everything as well since the only other store you have to choose from in tyro would be dollar general or a gas station.

I wouldn't go to any other food lion unless I have to. I always have a great experience. I love how neat it is. Makes it easier to shop. Good sales. The cashiers and all the workers are friendly. This store is close to my home so it's convenient to shop.

It's a clean and well-kept store. Staff is always polite and helpful. Selection is always there and you will rarely ever see an empty spot on the shelf.

Nice clean store and has very little out of stocks right now. For some reason though, the cashiers will not put your bags of groceries in your basket, so if you’re elderly or have shoulder/ arm injuries be ready. And the cashier started ringing up the next customer and sitting their bags on the counter with mine.

Great staff! All of them are professional and caring. I have a health condition that requires that I wear a 3M mask when I go out in public. These wonderful people have never once added to my discomfort at wearing it in their place of business, unlike other stores in town.I am grateful that this store is so close to home. I will continue to go there when I need groceries.

I love this food lion but am very sad that within the past couple of weeks they have stopped selling the Orange Bai drinks and chocolate chip sandwich cookies. Please start selling these again!🙏

I would like to recognize the young man "Cody" who walked in after gathering grocery carts saw me loading my own groceries into my cart while my Cashier and bag boy were deep in conversation. I don't mind loading my own groceries. Just wanted to commend Cody for being outstanding.CodyKeep this mentality close at hand. It will always make you the most valuable.

I went into Food Lion Tyro for the first time two days ago and I was only impressed by the items on the shelf and the following of the Covid guidelines. More importantly I would like to thank a special young lady named Carmen who went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed even though it looked like she was about to go on her break. Easy 5 stars. I will return and tell my friends.

This store is great, great workers, most make your day with a joke, others are kind of blah. It's a goodstore one of the best environments but I do thi nk they need to keep their shelves and freezers stocked a little better. They are slacking in that department. Other than that it is a very friendly store and clean.

All of the Lexington and Tyro stores are very clean and they keep the checkout lanes open and moving quickly. The vegetables are fresh and well stocked. Plenty of seasonal specials.

Although the family vibes at 2126 aren’t as strong as they were when I worked there years ago they still have a strong team full of great people and I’m glad to be a part of it. We love serving our community both by providing them high quality meat and produce and through charitable events. Food Lion always has something going on in the community and that’s why they’ll always have my support.

Never too crowded and employees are friendly. Produce is nice. My only criticism is that certain items are not available BUT if you ask the manager they will get it in the store if they can.

Everyone is friendly & helpful. Always find great deals. Love the Food Lion brand goods. Great place to shop & it's based in Salisbury, NC. What could be better than shopping in a home town store. I remember when Mr. Ketner started Food Lion.

I feel mask are making people less friendly.The cashier was borderline rude. However surprisingly the younger men (Still in High school) where very polite. One was a cashier behind our line. I have always loved foodlion, and will continue to shop there. I just feel they need to have a conversation with the employees on customer service and that just because we wear mask doesn't make it ok to be short and rude. Can't see your face, but we can read your name...

What can you say, the local Food Lion is what you'd expect. Busiest time is late afternoon. The layout has taken some time to get accustomed and let's hope that doesn't change again soon. Staff is always nice and the layout does include better aisle descriptions along the shelves which is also a bonus.

I actually have people to check you out instead of like Walmart or you have to get your groceries scan your groceries by your gross here you deal with human beings I would much rather deal with a human being than I would have machine especially when they have 28 Registries but only ones open for cash-paying customers I will take my business to Food Lion over Walmart any day
