I will never go back to this place I have read the reviews and should never have made the apt for grooming. I made this apt over a week ago for this Saturday. I get a call at 7:00 the night before to say the groomer had to take a personal day… I get that sometimes things happen and you need to take a day off. I explained to her it had to be on the weekend and If she could get her in tomorrow I would really appreciate it and She didn’t seem to want to help get our dog in any sooner. The next weekend available was over 2 weeks out. “We are very booked out right now” my guess would be because your groomers call out…

Have been a loyal customer of Pet Sense due to their groomer , however today I needed to see their on sight Vet that comes several times a month . I was told that my dog could not be seen when we were in line at 4:05 😡. The vet is there from 4 til 5. Apparently he Only sees 6 to 8 pets in this time 😡 all I needed was a shot and a refill for $ 56.00. Heart meds , Told me to come back , which I will never do ! You’d think if they provide this service they would allow for their local customers 😡

My wallet hurt. They are about 30-35% higher than online. It's a clean store. Educated staff. They were interactive and knowledgeable. I enjoyed my visit.

Brought our doodle here for the first time today after having a rough experience at a nearby groomer. They were patient with him, kind, and kept up with me throughout his groom. The price was great. We will definitely be returning with our doodle.

I’ve been bringing my dog here for over two years and today was not the first bad experience I’ve had at petsense in Lenoir. Each time here lately we’ve taken our dog it’s been some kind of issue on THEIR part. Today it was even though we had an appointment for a trim & bath the “groomer” told us that she didn’t have time to do both that she might have time to give him a bath. We’ve had this appointment for over a week. So we leave and I call, ask to speak with a manager. She was very nice and polite and said she would figure out the problem and call me back. After the call back she fixed it and i was going to take him back butttttt….. not even 5 minutes later Petsense calls back and says that we need to have new rabies paperwork brought in because ours went out of date last year! WE JUST HAD HIM GROOMED IN FEBRUARY and took the new rabies paperwork in then after going through yet another issue that same day with them.It’s just always some problem with them and a few of the employees are extremely RUDE to be working in the business they work in!!! Needless to say we will not be going back.

This store is basically centered around dogs and cats. I was looking for items for my son's bird. We found a couple of things but not much. The people working here were no help at all.

We have used this grooming location for the past 15 years. And today will be our last visit to this store. I’ve never been so horrified as today. When someone asked you to stop and keep cutting your dogs nails knowing your not qualified to do so stop. Yes accidents happen but to tell my dog to hold still and me watching him in pain. You people are heartless. Clipped one nail so far back blood was everywhere then to do another one. When I asked numerous times for the technician to use the dremel to fill the nails not clippers on small dogs nails. We had a bad feeling when we walked in and we should have went with our guts. We immediately went to a new groomer where they got the bleeding to stop. Done a wonderful job on our second pup and scheduled haircuts in a few days.Shame on lack of training and heartless workmanship.

In the past staff have been helpful and friendly, now not so much. Tried getting some food for dog and clerks were just rude and too busy talking to each other to help me at all. Came home ordered it from Chewy and I won't be going back.

The store needs more marine tank products but as for a pet supply store the people are nice, they smile and they always help you to the best of your ability, especially the woman with the black hair, I will hopfully get her name later and add to the review.

Needed help with shoes for my dog. The cashier lady, Riley went above and beyond to make sure what we bought fitted, so we would not buy something only to return it. Very friendly, kind of person I would hire on the spot, if I had a business. You need to hold on to her. Thank you, Riley. Because of you, I will return every time I am in town.

Everyone is always very nice here. They were experiencing issues with using credit/debit cards on my last visit and I wasn't buying much but lacked two dollars to pay for it with cash. I was only going to buy one treat instead of two and the nice cashier put in two of her own dollars so my doggie could have both. I found enough change in my car and paid her back. I thought that was very sweet and nice of her.

My dog had an appointment at 11 on a Saturday. They kept her until 4:00pm!!!! Then they charged us $81!!!! She only weighs 14lbs.!!!!! Somebody was mean to her because she is a very sweet dog!! I would NEVER take anything up there EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Some things are a little pricey but they have a lot of cool things for pets. Also have different kinds of beta fish I haven't seen in person before but have been wanting. But again, pricey.

I send my dog here to get groomed and I’m pretty picky when it comes to things and Kassy always does a great job and my dog is always so excited to see her & always leaves in a great mood too. You can tell Kassy absolutely loves what she does and cares for our dogs like they’re her own.

We moved to Lenoir about a year ago and it took me a while to find a groomer that is perfect for my Rottie. Kassy is sooo good to him and I trust her with him, which is saying ALOT from this dog Mom!! He’s always bathed well and smells good when I pick him up! Any time I’ve had to ask for help in the store, the girls are really nice and helpful, too.

We love Petsense. My fur babies have been going there for years to be groomed. The staff is very helpful and know my babies. Just today I talked with them regarding a grass allergy. I highly recommend them!

Never bring you dog to be groomed here. My dog had an appointment at 11 and sat in there crates in the back for 5 HOURS. I would Completely understand if the dogs were let out to use the restroom. But, she sat in a crate for 5 HOURS straight. I was Told by the groomer they had a lot of walk ins, then what is the point in there being appointments. After being told it would be another hour for her to be done i insisted On just taking my dog home. If y’all didn’t plan on grooming her until 4:00 i wouldn't Have made an appointment for 11.

Drove over a hour & 1/2 to go to this store. Sure wish we had one closer.I had to return an outfit for George that I bought in Ga. It was too big for him. This store didn't have any one piece outfits for him.... found other out fits for him and his size toys.. Here he is with one.of the shirts he got there and one of his toys he got there too.

This store is Pet friendly & carries a variety of pet foods & supplies enough to fulfill everyone's needs. If they don't have it, they are happy to order it for you. Items are priced as expected The staff is always friendly and helpful. This is a store I enjoy visiting.

I had an appointment for grooming for my dog today. The groomer refused to groom him because he is on a prescription medication for separation anxiety. Said that she could not groom a dog that is sedated however he was fully awake and alert, roaming about. Would not groom him even though the vet prescribed this medication specifically for his anxiety. She said that is company policy which is another reason to always support local businesses and never chain stores. Will not be making that mistake again.

We have used two groomers here to trim our dog's nails. Both have been great. Our dog is welcome in the store and takes full advantage roaming the aisles looking for her next toy. Nice cashiers too!
