I wish I could rate Walgreens Pharmacy with negative stars for the abysmal service I've consistently received. Their phone system is a black hole; you're better off sending smoke signals for a response. They never answer, and on the rare occasion they do, it's just to abruptly end your call to start their lunch breaks without any warning or words, leaving you back at square one in the phone queue abyss and forcing you to call back and wait another 2 hours or never be answered by the end of business.Stock availability for essential medications is a rare phenomenon here. It's like a game of chance hoping they have what you desperately need. The app is a hot mess of glitches, rendering it practically useless. Refilling prescriptions is a tease; they provide an estimated time of completion that's more fictional than a fairy tale. A simple antibiotic can become a week-long saga of waiting.The staff appears perpetually overwhelmed, which is no surprise given the chaos. Vaccination appointments are more of a suggestion than a reality. The online paperwork for appointments might as well be tossed into the void, as you're forced to fill it all out again upon arrival. Their record-keeping system seems like something out of the Dark Ages; despite receiving all my COVID vaccines there, they treated me like a minor, insisting my spouse needed to sign my consent form—I'm 37, not 17!Walgreens, a company that prioritizes inefficiency and customer frustration, truly sets the bar for disappointment. Their inability to organize, stock appropriately, or streamline procedures makes the simplest tasks an ordeal. Save yourself the headache and find an alternative—literally anywhere else would provide better service.

Im not sure what’s going on with Walgreens…. But they bill insurance for the wrong medications, promise to fill medications at a certain time and fail to do so, not just once or twice, but nearly all the time! Tell you to come back at another time to pick it up, then when you do, they say they are out of the medication. I just don’t get it. Recently, have dealt with many rude inconsiderate pharmacy techs working for them, including their manager! This is something new because last year this was not the case. Im not talking just for myself but for numerous friends and family members, this pharmacy is failing. Transferring all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Im writing this after many months of them failing to do their job correctly. Walgreens is either not taking care of their employees or there is a flaw in their system. I do not recommend using them.

Refills for regular monthly meds are a hassle. They can never just be refilled. Multiple family members and different doctors. Never ready. And I’m currently sitting here on hold now up to a 30 minute wait. App is useless. Never accurate. So unless you don’t work and can physically go in, sit and wait don’t use them!

Worst pharmacy we've ever gone to. Drive-in is so slow you should pack a lunch! Make sure you've been to the bathroom. When the line is too long I just go another time. However, this time the line was three cars besides the car at the window, so I stayed. 1/2 hr later got to the window. Terrible.

What a sorry excuse for a pharmacy. Rx for pain medication for an injury was sent by my doctor and after 5 days in pain, the prescription was still not ready. Spent 20 minutes in the endless telephone phone hold being told there was one caller ahead of me then finally just hung up. The North Carolina Board of Pharmacy should consider pulling their business license.

Pharmacy - Every month, the same thing. The only reason I stay is because if we are away and we need emergency medicine, we can get it. I am going to have to look into other ways of getting prescriptions. I won't say all, but 90% of the staff we dealt with is very rude. Boy, do I miss Rite Aid!

I get the same prescriptions every month, which means once a month I have to deal with this pharmacy’s incompetence - either because the medication is “out of stock” or because I can’t order my script more than a day early even if I won’t be picking it up until the day it’s supposed to be refilled. And if my doctor puts a refill order in, they'll put in their system that I’ve already picked it up (even though I receive emails saying it’s too soon to order). I’ve transferred to the other Walgreens in Leland thinking it’d make a difference, but it’s the same there too.If you can’t miss a dose - or seven - of your meds, I’d highly recommend looking into a more efficient pharmacy.

Go through this every month a. I take daily medication, every month I have to go off my medication for a week waiting for them to order and refill my script. They never have it and I have to call daily just to b told "tomorrow"..ends up being a week before I get it

Every time my doctor calls in a prescription, there is an issue. They don't seem to care if you really need the medication or not. They claim to reach out to my physician but nothing gets filled until I call several times. My husband has even gone by to pick up medication and the window was closed at 10 am. I can understand threre may be an issue a few times but not EVERY time. I'll be moving pharmacies soon to one that actually does their job.

I can't answer as to how well the pharmacy staff operates, since they seem completely unable to answer phone calls that have been first in the queue for more than twenty minutes. I was going to change pharmacies depending on whether this location had my medication in stock. I'm allergic to talking on the phone, and even I wouldn't do this to a client.

The staff have lied on numerous occasions. They will tell you the medicine is out of stock. Then you can recall and speak with a different associate and they will tell you it is in stock. This has happened twice now. They blatantly lied about being out to me once. Idk if it is a bias they have toward me for the medicine that I take or what. There are a few techs that are actually good. But EVERY pharmacist tech that is in charge is usually the ones who are telling lies and just really messy. This has been an ongoing thing for over 2 years. I’m no longer “locked in” at this Walgreens. Will be changing pharmacies AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE! Be aware!

I tried to order my medicine EARLY from these people. I called in on the 1st to get my medicine ordered and they told me that since it's a controlled substance I can only order it 1 day before it's ready. I called in the specified day they told me to call (June 3rd) and they tell me the medicine is not in stock and it will be ready the next day (over a weekend). Now Monday I call again to see if my medicine is available and they tell me it's not in stock and they are waiting on a truck that will arrive LATE TOMORROW. I am now going through withdrawal symptoms completely due to the lack of caring and inattention from this staff. Thanks a lot guys.I am changing pharmacies as soon as possible. This is unreal.

A 2-day experience for Covid testing. Day One: 9:30am appt. Was today to go home and they will call me to schedule. I was visibly sick. Was told my appt time was too early and they need to get paperwork/kit together. Day Two: 11:00am appt. AGAIN was told to wait 15 minutes b/c my appt was too early! Ridiculous!

Pharmacy drive through was ridiculously long and very, very slow (almost 30 min). None of three RXs were ready and no one bothered to call me. Electronic notices failed too (until after I left weirdly). I’d submitted RXs 3 days ago and still not ready?? First they told me RXs were at diff store, then admitted they were wrong. People were nice so not 1 star but terrible and slow customer service.

We recently moved to the area and I had never been to this Walgreens before. I was picking up one prescription for my husband and the total was more than $200.00 with insurance. The pharmacist, Emily, told me the manufacturer may have a coupon online. She located it for me on her phone, entered in my information for it, and then entered the coupon information into their system. It worked! I deeply appreciate the time and care of the pharmacy staff there! Thank you!

One star for pharmacy, rest of staff are super helpful & courteous. Maybe the male pharmacist was having a bad day, because he seemed overwhelmed. Didn't know where a simple antihistimine, I asked for, was. He appeared frustrated & nervous. I had an extra non-pharmacy item to check out & he said go up front, because he didn't know how to do it. Also, I really think the pharmacy is under-staffed, long wait for me. A+ for the rest of the store. I checked out up front since he didn't have time. Leland, Village Road store.

Walgreens did retain an employee of rite aid and is going the extra mile to make all rite aid customers feel welcome and appreciated. Walgreens did not get to choose who was retained and if they could would have kept all the staff of the rite aid in Waterford. Great and friendly staff that goes above and beyond what is expected

I’m in disbelief on how a manager handled a Customer this evening. This man was clearly confused and hard of hearing, instead of this woman escorting him to isle 12, apparently she decided that it’s better to yell extremely loud to the man,even though he was confused! He needed to be in isle 12 and by the time he’s done apologizing he gets lost on isle 5. He comes back just to have her be loud yet again in front of the c Customers. Not the first time I’ve seen this from her.

I have used the Walgreens franchise for 10 years. I have officially switched elsewhere after multiple issues with refilling my RX and my children! For the last 1-2 years this Walgreens and the one of Village Rd in Leland do NOT go the extra mile! My most recent issue was 0 refills left and the pharmacy faxes my Dr. not once by twice and when I call to check on it I am told the Dr didn't respond! One would think 'Hey let me call the Dr office or the customer and see what I can do to make this transaction move forward?' Finally I called the Dr and had them call it into another chain pharmacy and guess what, the place called me not once not twice but 3 times to let me know the progress and that it was refilled (all in one morning, less than hour time) NOT OVER THE COURSE OF 3 DAYS!!!!! WALGREENS WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure how many of your reading this live in or around the Leland NC area, but Walgreens is closing down our Rite Aid. A store that has been true to us. A pharmacy that has always had our needs and welfare in mind. Also, Danielle will not be moving to the Walgreens along with the other employees. Walgreens does not care about the customers of Rite Aid or they would have set up a system where we could order online during the transition. I've been unable to order my prescriptions online for over 2 months. Tell me that Walgreens cares. No they don't and this is how they already treat us. If Danielle doesn't have a position at Walgreens in the pharmacy as "my favorite pharmacist I will move my business to CVS and hope everyone else follows along. Come on Leland support those that have supported you!!!

Blonde lady at the drive thru made me pull around twice and then 30 seconds later I walk in cuz I'm not waiting behind 3 cars..in the heat and she was like oh it's ready. Yeah I bet it was about 10 seconds after you made me pull off. Rude.
