Most impressive grocery store I've ever been too. From the cut your own fresh herbs, to all the individual counters for hot foods, cold foods and bakery to the fresh salad bar. They even have a beer den to grab a drink.

Always have a pleasant experience while picking up my groceries. Would highly recommend Lowes online grocery app. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Just don't try to get a job here. The manager you interviewed with will suddenly start working 3rd shift despite interviewing you at 10:30 in the morning. Same manager will NEVER return your calls despite promising you a second interview, and you having a recommendation from an assistant manager from another store.

Yesterday the customer service person at the customer service desk was not only unsure but dismissive. When asked a question she didn’t know the answer and reluctant to ask for help. Pls teach young employees it’s ok to ask for help

Prices are significantly higher than comparable grocery stores like Harris Teeter. I’m surprised to see so many reviews that say everything is always fresh. I can’t count how many times I’ve found moldy produce on the shelves and meat turning gray in the refrigerated section. They also sell several ground meat items without any best by date (the butcher couldn’t find it either), of course the meat smelled rancid when opened. Maybe there’s a refrigeration, trucking, or some other issue but I find disappointment more often than not at Lowe’s Foods. The things I do like at Lowe’s are the beer den and the sausage works items. Sadly I can’t go there for everything the prices are ultimately just way too high.

I love Lowe's. Go to the beer den and have a great glass of beer or wine while you shop.

Store is great and above average for a typical grocery. Prices are better than Harris Teeter for most items. The Beer Den is where it's at!! Sooooooo many choices of craft beer to buy in cans and rotating taps to get your growlers filled! Always excellent choices!

Lovely store and well laid out. Employees are very friendly & helpful. One young lady at checkout is particularly welcoming & helpful (wish I got her name).

I stopped by this store just the other day to grab the big jar of Vlasic dill pickles, and i just want to say that the cashier, Noah i believe, was the most hospitable and nice person i've ever talked to. that man needs a raise.

Cashiers need more training on customer service. Sorry, but just because you had a bad day doesn't warrant an excuse. I work customer service for years and dealt with it, especially being in hospitality. Other than that, I do like the location and the selections. Pricey yes, but quality is good if you know what to look for.

The staff is absurdly friendly. Food selection is very good. Sale prices are great, regular prices are a bit higher than average but not too bad. Their wine department is out of this world. They even have my favorite Bully Hill wine from upstate NY.

Some of the genuinely consistently friendly people at the register. I shop here for the Flax seed bread. No one else in Leland carries it but Lowes. The selection of cookies and condiments is the best you'll find, although a bit more expensive, in Leland or even Wilmington bar none. I recommend.

I have been to this store several times and the folks are rarely inviting. I rarely hear welcome or how are you.I like the store, but it is certainly a very unfriendly atmosphere. I also like the open concept of the store and how the aisles are not from floor to ceiling.Their deli is pretty tasty and the folks behind the deli counter are very nice and inviting. I wish the cashiers and baggers had this same concept of customer service as well.

I stop at this Lowe’s because it’s convenient for me. However, every time I shop there, I say I’m never going back. The only nice employee is the guy who is always stocking the shelves. So nice always. He’s the only one. When I use the self checkout, the younger employees act like I don’t know what I’m doing because I’m not 20 years old. I use complex computer systems everyday so I’m very capable of checking out my own food. Yesterday I used the regular checkout and the clerk asked me my phone number 4 times and acted annoyed about it. Every time I shop here I say I’m going across town to Harris Teeter and Aldi’s.

Very nice grocery store. Especially this particular location is in a nice area. Only draw back is that it is a bit pricey compared to other grocery stores. I will go to a Harris Teeter more often just because of the price. However, I enjoy shopping in Lowes too because it is laid out nicely, clean, and staff is friendly

Bright, new, clean store with extremely friendly staff, plenty of parking, cooking class daily, making their own sausage in house, VERY committed to buying local produce and other things. Beautiful produce dept with a snip your own herb area h so you can get only as much as you need. Very nice salad bar, large beer/wine area with knowledgeable staff to assist. Staff in general is so friendly and always willing to help in any way they can!

Clean and well stocked grocery store. A bit on the expensive side. The beer den (inside Lowes) is awesome, in case you'd like to enjoy a beverage while shopping, or just take a seat and relax before or after shopping. The staff are also great. If you're needing something specific and unsure what to get, just ask and they will help recommend!

I love Lowes of Leland. The employees are always very nice to me. It's pricey, but since the pandemic I shop here exclusively. It's very clean, not crowded, and unlike Walmart, they still disinfect the carts for shoppers. People wear masks and are good about social distancing. It's worth the price!

Located close to my home. this store provides personal convenience but I would probably not shop there at all if it were side-by-side with, say, Harris Teeter or Publix. Management upgraded the facility a year ago so the ambience pleases the shopper aesthetically but I typically use it for quick trips where I am lacking one or two pedestrian items. If I am shopping from a long list or looking for something sort of exotic, I go a little farther down the road to Harris Teeter. Because of convenience, I tried them for my more extensive shopping but invariably found a couple of items on my list not stocked. The store purveys a fairly good selection of craft beers and wines and has the facility to sell refillable growlers with craft beers, a feature that I definitely enjoy. They keep the store clean adequately staffed with friendly folks so as long as they stock the products you want, I can recommend the store.

It is the willy wonka of grocery stores. It changed my life, gave me meaning, and... purpose. A diatribe of international culinary life experiences awaits those who choose to spend their lives passing through its gates. Thank you Lowes.

One of my favorite grocery stores. Walk in and head to the right for fresh vegetables and salad them go toward the back for fresh breads. They also offer a nice selection of craft beers with a pour area toward the front of the store.Definitely one of the better locations in Leland for craft beer.

I feel honored to have met such a compassionate , caring worker at Lowe's Food In Leland, NC. Jo Umbaugh went above and beyond anything I'm sure her company expected of her. My grandson and I were so distraught not being able to find flowers for my daughter who is in stage 4 Cancer at New Hanover Hospital that when we went in Lowe's it was hard for us to decide and achieve what we wanted to do. Jo Umbaugh saw us and immediately came to help us. I have never seen such compassion and caring come from someone you have never met. We were so distraught when we entered the store ...but by the time she had finished helping us we felt so comforted by her kindness and support. We both knew that every thing she did came from her heart. A Angel we needed that day. Thank you Jo Umbaugh you will never know how much that meant to us and to Lowe's Food for having such wonderful , and caring staff.Austin Norris , Dixie Buffkin

My favorite grocery store in Leland. Never really crowded. They have good produce and hot food and sandwiches. Bakery has yummy muffins and cakes. Most staffers are pleasant with the exception of perhaps one. Don't know her name but she is notorious for being a bit of a stick in the mud at work and when she visits other retailers as well.

Lowes is right in my neighborhood so it's very convenient. They usually have the best wine prices in the area. There prices are higher than the other stores in the are but because it's so convenient I don't mind .

Kind of pricey. And there are certain hours in the morning when they don't have enough staff. After I dropped my child off at school I had to wait for the only cashier to finish with the line of customers before she could help me at customer service. She said someone else was coming in around 10 or 11. And I was there to return a salad that went bad the next day even though it was a day or 2 from the sell by date.

The employees at this grocery store are terrible. Guy was the typical uneducated person, acting rude with customers. Ismeal, was his name. The register was not recognzing that it had rung me up for orange juice, or many items. Their employees are paranoid and uneducated. I have had a change of heart about retail employees. Many of them are bad people .The experiences at this grocery store and all Lowes have been horrible. They really need to fire this group and hire better employees. This is what happens when their employees are unskilled labor. And what happnes when people enable the kind of employees at this store. If you go to Walgreens the employees are fighting with each other. Worst experience ever.
