I love this store due to the awesome employees!! I appreciate the kind and tremendously courteous help that I got from Jennifer and Gabby, as well as, Bob, Night Manager.I had the best experience with these employee's. I was shopping a half hour before the store was closing for the night. I needed help with locating a few items. They never seemed frustrated or troubled to assist me. They never made me feel rushed, even during closing. I was also quite grateful to Bob, Night Mgr, for walking me to the exit and watching to see me make it safely to my car. I am very thankful to them again and highly recommend this store to the community!!😁👍🏻

A nice clean store with a great selection of all kinds of grocery items. Keep an eye on their weekly ad because they have some great deals if you use their customer saver card. The people who work here are friendly and courteous. I find the location very convenient for anyone who lives off Ocean Highway.

We got subs from the Harris Teeter in Leland. It was clean. Staff was polite and very helpful. The gentleman and the lady that made the subs today carried on the conversation and did real well and prepared the food.

Love the meat counter at Harris Teeter. Their deli & produce departments are excellent, too. Been a loyal customer at their Leland store ever since a very positive experience with Edie. She's a true customer service professional. Service with a smile!

Beware of new hires apparently being held captive from NJ. Stores great but as of late I can't get through without hearing at least one employee having a conversation with someone about how terrible it is here like they were forced to be here. It's insulting to hear and sours what should be a basic shopping experience

Such a nice, bright, & clean store. Has lots of high end details and has items that appeal both to the top and bottom budget shoppers. Deli is great, hot food and made to order items. Meat selection is wonderful! Prices are slightly higher than Walmart, but so it the shipping experience!!

Harris Teeter is often my grocery store of choice. This location in particular is a good one.Parking is plentiful here. They also have a HT gas station a few seconds from the actual store.The produce is high quality here, not to mention, the sushi bar is great, the subs are the best, and they have a Starbucks in the store.The store is well staffed and you can always find someone to help you find an item. It is not the cheapest grocery store around, but they have tons of sales every week. Plus HT brand is usually pretty good.

We love $9 pizza Mondays. We get one or two Cauliflower crust every week. Excellent price for the amount of food you get. There are many toppings to choose from, and they aren't stingy with them! It's an incredible deal for the money, especially for cauliflower crusts. This is a perfect pick me up for a case of the mondays!

We ordered donuts from the bakery for our wedding and I cannot rave enough about everyone at this Harris Teeter. From the people in the bakery, to the cashier to the manager Tracie. The bakery called us a couple times to double check our order and make sure they got everything we wanted correct. The cashier was so nice and helped us get a little discount since we were ordering so many donuts. And the donuts for the actual wedding were done on time and they were perfect. These donuts are so good and they are so much cheaper than specialty shops. Worth every penny. We were so happy. We love this Harris Teeter and shop here mostly because of the wonderful staff.

Went to the pharmacy today to pick up an Rx. Had to wait in line, no problem. The person being waited on had a small dog. NOT a service dog. They put the dog down so they could pay, the dog started to bark and jump. When it was my turn, I questioned the people about this and they said this was the SECOND DOG today that someone had while picking up an Rx and they are not allowed to say anything, only the Store Manager. I stopped at customer service up front before leaving. They paged the Store Manager and I told him what happened. I asked him why aren't the employees allowed to say something and of course I got something like "well that's how it is .... blah blah blah. Ridiculous. Seems like common sense to me. Let the employees COMMUNICATE THE RULES to the customers. Harris Teeter I hope you are reading this and hope this ridiculous rule gets changed. Also a sign on the doors saying "only service dogs allowed in store" would be wise to do too.

Very impressive grocery store with alot too offer. A hot pizza area, salad bar, Chinese bar, hot held chicken, bakery, boars head deli, florist and endless wine area. The meat dept had counter ppl to help and a seafood dept as well.*easily ordered subs on the app and they had a self serve pick up spot.

I have been shopping at the leland store for years and it continues to go down. And if you go in after 6 pm there’s never anyone who can help at the desk. I used the online shopping the last 4+ years and it was great… until now. I called about their new program and was put on hold for ‘a leader’ When she finally answered, I had to to repeat myself several times because she was carrying on a conversation and laughing with someone. She couldn’t answer my questions and told me to ‘look on the website.’ A couple of weeks later I called to compliment my shopper and got the same person, Alecia/falecia, who grunted and said that ‘the shopper was just part-time and she don’t know when she works again.’ I didn’t think that mattered but she did not seem interested in what I had to say and was quite rude. This was my second time dealing with such an unprofessional person who apparently is in charge. A lot of neighbors have stopped shopping here and now I know why.

I loved it! I got lamb chops which were done to perfection. My friend got a rib-eye steak which was also great. We each got a side salad and baked sweet potato. The salad was so fresh and the sweet potatoes were great. We definitely plan to go again.

We usually love Harris Teeter pizza, but today my husband called in a pizza order. When he went to pick it up, it had 2 huge holes in the crust, and it had not been sliced. My husband, being the kind man he is, accepted the pizza anyway - even though the pizza should never have been presented to a customer. Then he went to check out, and there was chaos at the registers - too few open, and the rudest customers he has ever encountered. He left without the pizza. So, as much as we love Harris Teeter pizza, it is doubtful we will be purchasing one in the future.

This store is absolutely horrible and so is the store manager. In particular. The store director John Robin's is very rude, talks behind employees backs and is always sitting in his office not helping do anything my last two visits. He has no respect for his employees or customers and Harris Teeter should be very disappointed in how he puts a name on the company. However I will say Gavin and Lexis at the Customer service desk were very polite and my cashier Liz was very sweet and helpful. John Robins is however not and if he was fired this store would shoot to being successful and the employees would probably be way happier.

I am not the type to write reviews, so that says a lot. This location is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. i would give NO stars if google allowed.I applied to a barista position at the Harris Teeter Starbucks, i got a call back almost immediately from a manager, Joey i believe. We scheduled an interview. When the time came for me to go into said interview, i went in and the person who i was told would interview me was not only a minor but had no idea they had an interview scheduled for that day and openly outright admitted to had never done an interview before. (Not at all their fault, as they were an employee, not a manager.) I was fully qualified as i had formally worked in a Starbucks before and they claimed to be very understaffed. I was seemingly hired, as we went over matching pay, vacation days, dress code etc as well as being told i was a perfect fit. Over the next few days NOBODY reached out like they said they would. I called twice to ask about the position, both times they told me the manager wasn’t available. On about the 6th day of waiting i decided to finally go in, when i got there i asked to talk to the manager, Joey, he came out and explained to me that i had never applied for a specific position at Harris Teeter, (the barista position) and that he would get me the position number so that i could apply (again). I ended up taking the time to reapply. He gave me the position number with full intention on not getting back to me, thus wasting my time, as i am unemployed at the moment and very new in town. I didn’t apply for the barista position but they had a starbucks barista interview me for the job and told me i was in? Doesn’t make any sense. super disrespectful and time wasting. I would’ve appreciated being told that they just weren’t interested anymore instead of being all over the place and wasting my time.

We went in for supper. After we found what we wanted, we asked a few questions about a specific type of food offered. Damien was extremely knowledgeable on the subject. Even after we walked away, we went to a cooler that had some items we were interested in. Damien must have seen the puzzled looks on our faces and came right over and explained to us what we were wondering. He's a great young man. Hopefully I've spelled his name correctly.

Can I start by saying I love this store but tonight I went and spent 300+ and the one thing I wanted was grapes...let's just say when I got home and washed them I had maybe 13 left out of a whole bag . Come on now !!!! That's all trash with mold on the grapes .

1. Prices are continuing to increase: I purchased 1/2 half chocolate cake yesterday. Price was $11, whereas, the previous week it was $7.99. 2. Service continues to decline :purchased pre-packaged BH sliced honey maple ham & sliced American cheese; slices were so thick in packages, only got 3-4 slices, and too thick for a sandwich. 3.Quality continues to decline: purchased HT package of pre-cooked ribs Memorial Day weekend; hardly had any meat on ribs. 4. Purchased a Caesar Kit last weekend, lettuce was already brown, andthe kit didn’t contain any dressing or croutons.What has happened? How can HT correct this?
