I appreciate the convenience, but it is understaffed. The shelves are often empty of the basic and sale items, the isles are difficult to navigate due to the boxes for restocking, and the check out lines are long. I would like to go on record that what staff they do have are very courteous. The addition of just a few more hours to maintain the stock would be worthwhile and would increase the average sale.

Stock sitting everywhere, no open areas to get through store.... disorganized. I was at this location yesterday. Shelves/coolers empty. Clutter everywhere. Sodas on shelves sporadically throughout store, no real designated area. It's a mess. Corporate needs to look at this. Management in the store lacks. Young man at register had large dip of tobacco..disgusting.

Family General was great as usual...many of the customers are a different answer. Over 1/2 of the customers unmasked?! I said something to the masked employee helping me. She just smiled and said "we all gave up a while ago. It's just a job...every night I go home and hope I'm STILL healthy".

On my visit, the produce was fresh and had the batteries I was looking for that no other store around carried. The employees were pleasant and the store was clean. Pretty impressed honestly.

I've been out here 3 months and sometimes it's the only place I could get two and it just never has nothing on its shelf like other general Dollar general I mean even the one in can camera has better I mean the people I guess I'll go there from here what's the message I have no I'm not too happy with it but maybe an improved if I worked at now they would

I have been to other DG stores where they are neat and clean, Lake Junaluska is top notch. Leicester store needs to shine up. Plus the clerks behind the counter need to be setting the example and practice the WWW wear a mask, come on how hard is it?

I'm really glad their is a Dollar General close to me, however we have had a few encounters with not the nicest of employees there. Some are extremely nice and friendly. I've had the same lady a few times seem bothered that I needed to check out, short tempered and huffed the entire checkout, and another gentleman who I asked to run my $5 off code on Saturday and he said it had been used. Well as you all know, they only work for that one particular Saturday, and it was the only time i left the house that day. I told him it was impossible, but he didn't want to do anything for me, so I spent another $30 at the Dollar General further down the road, she scanned my code and used it no problem! 😊 I do like the way this Dollar General is set up, it seems to have more space. And again, certain employees are super nice, but not all of them... that's why I rate this location a 3 out of 5.

Always dirty, and stock so piled up in isles, you can't reach what you need. I've seen lines going down 2 isles with only 1at the register. When I pointed this out to manager..she said "it's always like that" and didn't go up front to help.Bathroom is always dirty. Hardly ever has toilet paper and paper towels to dry your hands. This has been going on since they opened. I'm fed up and will not go back anymore!

Great place close to house. Sometimes it hard to find things. Shelves are not stocks lots of times. Need more help there.staffs are friendly. Sometimes only one person there.

Moved to the area about a month ago and am not impressed. The store content is fine, exactly what I expected, but the staff aren't friendly at all. I won't be going out of my way to go back

Boxes and carts all over the store every time I’m there. Can barely fit through aisles very cluttered. Staff is friendly! I’ll give them that. But the store is trash.

This store has everything! The prices are good too. Is busy but they keep it moving. Good place to go when you need a few groceries. Closer than the grocery or department stores.

The staff is friendly. This is my go to place (4min from home) to grab some inexpensive candy. The parking lot is usually pretty dirty, and the store disorganized

They will have what you're looking for but you will have to look around for it. Store is always dirty and cluttered. I only go there when I have to. Not because I want to. Staff is almost always disgruntled and tired.

Doors locked and employee said they are closed, this was at 8:40 PM on 4/16/22. The sign on the door and Google say open until 10:00 PM.

Most of the time, you can't get to a lot of the shelves because stocking carts are blocking the shelves. Seems like they need more employees to put out inventory.

On the days they receive a supply load, you can find what you need. Other than that it is hard to buy things. It is a bustling store...maybe that's why it always looks so unorganized.

They had remodeled since the last time i was there, and it had a much better selection of groceries than it used to. Prices were reasonable.

Each time I've went in, all I have heard is employees gossiping about customers.they don't try to hide it either.rude,no customer service skills,I mean I realize it's $$ general in a small community,but even though it's close to my home,I will pay a higher price at the BP to avoid this place!

I've always loved this store brand. Back when I was in high school there was one right across the street from the school, always cheap, stays stocked. And this one seemed just like it!

Slowest place in all of asheville to shop at. Employees are very rude and leave you and six other shoppers standing in line at the register waiting on them to feel like doing their jobs.

DG is like the walmart of our little area. It gets slammed all day everyday.And like the big Wal-Mart only one register open in a rush. Lol

Good store to stop by if you need a couple things on the way by they do seem to have a problem with their inventory as certain things are not there quite often.

Not the best, but it was alright. Watched some guy get shopping carts and throw 'em everywhere. Talk about disrespect!
