I get my meats from here. They usually have good deals/sales on their meats. I keep my deep freezer pretty well full of meats from between their sales on meats and piggly-wiggle's sales on meats. Those are the only 2 places I get my meats from. And unless I'm in desire need of meats I only buy what they have on sale from both places.

Out of the ordinary but yet extraordinary, That's how I would describe Hills, Located all around the NC area and should be most notable as Piggly Wiggly and IGA are throughout SC.

Clean, organized store and friendly employees. So much easier to shop over the bigger chain stores. The meat dept always looks like fresh quality meats. The freezer section has a wide selection, often times things I don't see elsewhere.

Hills is absolutely one of the most fantastic grocery stores in our area. we use food lion mostly but hills has the (most selection) freshest and best butcher cuts around. Other products are usually more reasonably priced at other stores but it is absolutely worth it just for the meat selection !

Went in last week. I accidentally pressed the cash back button. The young cashier rang up my goods and didn't mention the cash back. If I hadn't called it to his attention he would have made a quick ten bucks. Really dishonest. Don't like this smelly store.

I went in to see if the deli had hot food. Did they ever! Fried chicken, pork chops, green beans, mac & cheese and a whole lot more. My meal was great. And inexpensive too! If I lived in that area, I would go the 2 or 3 times a week.

Clean and well priced sales items . But not in-stock on frozen vegetables. Great prices on bulk chicken 🐔they also have a nice meat department Mgr. Mike!!

Putting up sale signs before 5pm in the afternoon on products that don't go on sale until the following day and the signs doesn't have a start date for the sale. As far as I know it could have been the sale ending tonight. That's false advertising unless sign clearly has sale start/end date on them. That's why I have taken most of my business to Food Lion!!!!!!

Supper nice people. Clean store. Only down side is it is a small store so they do not have things that larger stores carry, but if you tell them it is something you buy regularly they will try to order it and keep it in stock. Pretty cool uh? Swing on by make a picnic basket then head for the lake.

For this area it is a decent store to shop at and they have everything I need. The most important thing is that all the people that work there are really nice, polite and helpful as can be. That in itself really stands out.

I love the fast & customer friendly grocery store. The staff is awesome, nice. Helpn, with foods ur looking for. The deli is delicious especially there fried chicken is awesome, as well. I would to give a special thanks to my neices Isabella which is a cashier at hills food store. She is a very excellent cashier for hills grocery store. Way to go Isabella marie webb .😄😄😄😄

Don't mind negative reviews here. If you're here visiting or on vacation, the meats are cut fresh daily, depending what you are looking for, and while some things may be a bit pricier, you don't have to go to Whiteville.

Went in Hill's Food Store yesterday an found everything I need right off hand .its the closest one to me an I enjoy Grocery shopping there the cashier are very nice very respectful.

This store constantly disappoints me. I am super careful about what I buy. I will never buy reduced items ever again. They are normally past date or rotten. Most places mark things down before that point. Not Hills though. Used to be the freshest and best place to get stuff.

I found exactly what I was looking for at a good price. The spiral has was on sale!!The store was clean. Their fried chicken is delicious!! Their meats are delicious!

Do you know how awesome it feels to walk in a supermarket and be greeted like your family??? Well I do because this happens every time I go to hills!! Prices are very reasonable and the staff is awesome!!
