Absolutely delicious! The prices are very reasonable, the food was amazing, and the service was fast and friendly. Such a cute place. This will be our spot every time we visit!The biscuit sandwiches were awesome and priced well enough you can get two! I did 😂 the chicken biscuit and bacon egg and cheese biscuit were awesome.Highly recommend!!

We are staying in Rumbling Bald for a weekend trip and got food from here as takeout for lunch and it was delicious!! The crispy chicken wrap is VERY good. The kids enjoyed the chicken fingers and fries. The fried cornbread and onion rings were good too. The workers inside were extremely courteous and it has an adorable atmosphere inside.

We stopped in for lunch today between errands and it truly was like being in someone's well-loved home. I had the grilled ham & cheese and a bowl of the homemade vegetable beef soup and hubby had a cheeseburger with fries.The soup took me back at least 35 years to the homemade soup made by the churches in my hometown that was so perfect. I haven't had that level of perfect since I was a kid but this came so close to it. I could have eaten two bowls, it was like a warm hug from my gram. The grilled ham & cheese on rye was a perfect pairing with it too😁 Hubby's burger was delicious and made all the better by the fresh, crisp toppings.The manager was top knotch and quick to jump in wherever needed as well as being very personable and energetic. All staff were gracious and warm. We had the pleasure of meeting the creator of the lovely soup whom came to check if we enjoyed it🙂We most certainly will be back😁

First of all, I don’t leave bad reviews. I will leave that for other people. But just know, if I am taking the the time to leave a review, the place is exceptionally good. I have been going here sporadically for a few years because they are close by and it’s always good food and nice folks…fair prices especially for the area. Lately, we have been making it a weekly thing and have not been disappointed ever…so, there ya go. Must try is the shrimp and grits. The Friday sea food night is also great. Omlets..just breakfast in general. Large, perfected portions…it’s like a lot but not ridiculous. Home made desserts. Down home cookin. Very friendly staff. It’s in an old farmhouse with rich history also a farm stand.. a whole lot to look at. Enjoy

Very cute and quaint local place. Very friendly staff, enjoyed it very much. Biscuits were fresh, sausage gravy was good too. But remember two things... #1 breakfast service stops at 1030am. and they don't serve anything else until 11am. And #2 - you are in the south and everything is slow. I don't say this to be critical, you just need to know to expect this everywhere. But definitely visit this locally owned, popular w locals, Christian based and yummy spot. Thank you ladies!!!!

Epic food, amazing staff, this is a must do if you’re anywhere within an hour. We drive 2 1/2 hours to get our Victory breakfast. I had to get myself a Victory shirt and take it with me to Biltmore! My fiancé always gets the shrimp and grits and he loves it!! I will dream about those biscuits and gravy until next time.. don’t forget to tip your hardworking, amazing cooks and waitresses . See you all again very soon!Parking: Parking on both sides of the building.

They advertise as closing at 2 but apparently that's not true cause if you go in at 1:40 they won't serve you. Always enjoyed eating there but mixed feelings about going back because of this. I drove 15 minutes to get there on lunch break onlt to be turned away. Poor customer service in my opinion.This happened 4/29/24It was a young lady with brown hair and she had on a blue shirt.

This place is WONDERFUL. We're visiting from Miami, Fl and came here our 1st morning. We ordered a variety of breakfast foods and loved them all (except the pancakes.) The shrimp and grits were SO amazing we came back for more before we left.The waitress, Shelby, was so sweet both times she served us. She was also extremely accommodating and understanding to my nephews' allergy restrictions and helped us make sure he could enjoy the food as well.Although we only had breakfast, we're excited to hopefully come back more and try their lunch & dinner menu.

Super friendly staff. Every inch of this place is kept very, very clean. Breakfast ends at 11. Chicken quesadilla was 100% excellent!!! Onion rings were average, but I enjoyed them. My husband ordered the chicken tenders and he loved them!! We will be back for breakfast tomorrow...

Great Home cooked Food. Every order is cooked fresh and the atmosphere could not be more inviting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great story behind opening the restaurant and how it got its name. There is a nice little vegetable and fruit stand on the same property just in case you are in the mood for some more fresh food.

Dined here both Fri & Sat mornings during a destination wedding weekend. The food is truly fresh and made to order. The staff are BUSY but remain friendly and kind. After tasting Victory’s sausage and egg biscuit, McDonalds should be ashamed of theirs. Greek omelette was tasty. French toast was delicious with a hint of cinnamon. Grits were perfect and creamy. Highly recommend this friendly dining place.

This is one of the best breakfast places I've EVER been to. I believe our waitress name was Charlene and she was extremely friendly and the service was amazing. Food prices are very reasonable but the quality was outstanding. Like the sign inside says, they are not a fast food place and that's a very good thing. If you come here for a relaxing breakfast, it's 110% worth it. Wish I lived in this area so I could come back more.

My friend and I came in for breakfast and wow the food and service is so good. It’s a small diner with a cozy atmosphere. The pancake is so fluffy and the bacon is the perfect level of crispiness. Definitely worth checking out if you’re visiting lake lure!

You won’t find better service or better food than you’ll find at Victory. We will get there every opportunity we can. On our first trip to Lake Lure we had every intention of cooking at the airbnb but we ended up eating out the first morning and never cooked breakfast because theirs was much better! My fiancé says I never smile as big when she brings me food. The ladies in the front and back are wonderful. We will find our way back again very soon. This trip we spent 15 minutes in the parking lot waiting for them to open because we were so excited. Must try!

First off, if you have somewhere to be and can't wait, this isn't the place for you. I don't mean that negatively, I'm just being honest. When we arrived we were next to be seated. Mind you, a very small dining area. Between the wait, food arriving, and eating, it was all of 1.5 hours or more.Food was good, not great. Eggs were my favorite. Bacon about like anywhere else. Biscuit and gravy was very disappointing. My wife said her food was okay. She had a pancake and hashbrowns. My daughter seemed to enjoy it.Pricing is a bit high, but at Lake Lure that seems to be normal.

Home cooking at it's best.I had the most delicious veggie burger (needed 2 hands), fries that we're baked or airfare to perfection. Incredible service. My son placed an order and didn't realize it had peppers included they are him a new one free of charge. Great value and cute homey atmosphere. We were so excited to go to this restaurant based on the reviews on September 11th. I called the morning of our visit to see how long breakfast was served. She said 11:00 am. We arrived at 10:35. There were 8 ladies seated a minute before we were. The waitress (not friendly) seated us and gave us lunch menus. We nicely said we wanted breakfast. She said they cut off orders at 11:45. It was 11:38 at this time. She looked up at the person at the register and she shook her head no. The 8 ladies who walked in when we did were served breakfast. We asked for 3 coffees and cobblers instead. After 10 minutes, we were brought 2 of the cobblers. We waited for the other. They never brought it. The waitress never came back to our table. My daughter finally went to the register and another person waited on her. She tried to charge us for 3 cobblers and my daughter told her we only received 2. She replied, "Oh yeah, I saw it sitting back there". No apology whatsoever!!!!!I can honestly say, we have never been treated so badly. We are always overly nice to anyone in the service industry because we have been there and done it. I will never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone. We had nothing but excellent service at every other restaurant we visited in the area.I was utterly disgusted with the whole experience!!!!!!!!!!

We arrived shortly after 11, so it was a lunch meal for us. I'm sure the breakfast is amazing since they were cleaning up a busy breakfast rush when we arrived for lunch. But our lunch meals were just okay. It definitely didn't live up to expectations, which is disappointing since we love to give business to local establishments when traveling instead of chains. Service was great and our waitress was friendly and kept us laughing, so no complaints there. Our burgers were dry (honestly, it tasted like a frozen burger patty) and the fried chicken sandwich was overcooked as well. The fries were great though and I ate all those, but only made myself eat half the burger. It just seems all 3 of the entrees were cooked too long. It was obvious when they were served that they were overcooked without having to bite into it, so the cook should have known that before we were given the food. I'd say avoid it for lunch but maybe give it a try for breakfast since that seems to be their speciality with the lunch entrees an afterthought.
