One of the best Gift shops views that I have ever seenThis is a unique location that is not only in the Chimney Rock State park but it is only steps away from the Chimney Rock site. The ticket plaza for the park is about 2 miles inside the park and the cost for adults is $17. This may seem like a lot but there are several things to see and do in the park like this one. If you want to go to Chimney rock the easiest way is to drive up the mountain on very skinny switchbacked roads to the parking areas near the top. On busy days parking can get very limited so get there early or go on weekdays. This is one of the only parks that I have visited that offers visitors an elevator to the upper level. The elevator entrance is through a tunnel cut into a mountain that looks really cool. The shop is directly off the elevator on the way to the Chimney Rock. The shop offers lots of souvenirs as well as limited food items. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is seating right outside the store that gives people a spectacular view of the town way down below. I enjoyed the view, staff, and experience. I hope you do too.

A nice , clean , well maintained . Restrooms are clean and art at the restroom door were nice. Nice collections of souvenir , not pricey and staffs are friendly. Small lounge setup to have an nice view. Refreshments are available like chocolates , candy , soda drinks , chips , nachos , ice creams shop are all available here.

There’s an elevator taking you to Sky Lounge and Chimney Rock. You can also get to it when you climb up to the Chimney Rock.In the tunnel to the elevator, there’s educational information about the rock and the history of the elevator builders.Besides the gift shopping in the lounge, you won’t want to miss the restrooms. Take a look and you will be impressed!

Made my way down from exclamation point and needed some water for the dogs. And there it was. Like an oasis in the desert with a doggie water bowl. The sky lounge. I didnt get to ride the elevator up because it wasn't running. However if you do you end up in the sky lounge. They serve ice cream, have gifts and restrooms.
