An Unforgettable Birthday Adventure on Lake LureOur family's adventure with Lake Lure Adventure Company was nothing short of spectacular. As part of an epic birthday road trip for my twin girls, Payton and Maren, we decided to rent a pontoon boat for their 14th birthday. The experience was truly unforgettable.The company provided us with a 22-foot boat that was not only in excellent condition but also extremely easy to navigate. The boat allowed us to explore all sections of Lake Lure, as outlined in the comprehensive map they provided. Their suggestions were spot-on, leading us to some of the most breathtaking vistas we've ever seen.However, the highlight of the day for my girls was the semi-secluded coves we discovered. We anchored our boat in these tranquil spots, where we swam and played games, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature. These moments of joy and laughter were the perfect birthday gift for my girls, making our adventure on Lake Lure a memory we will cherish forever.The staff at Lake Lure Adventure Company were professional, friendly, and extremely helpful, ensuring our boating experience was safe and enjoyable. This past weekend my family and I rented some kayaks to go around the lake. From the phone call to reserve the kayaks to the time we returned the kayaks, the service was great! Very friendly staff!The view is amazing! It simply can’t be beat. It’s so worth it! Where I’m from there’s a lot of kayak rentals, so the price was reasonable and affordable; no complaints.My wife and I were safely and easily in a double with our 11 month old son (who had on a life jacket). I mention this because this was my biggest concern since it was a family trip.

We did a half-day pontoon rental with them… our only regret was that it was a half-day and not a full-day. The boat was clean, in great shape, and perfect for our group. Naomi was great and really friendly. The whole process was so easy. They recommended a bunch of great spots for our group and were overall incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend Lake Lure Adventure Co. Also, the views from the middle of the lake are unparalleled - really a must see!

We went tubing and rented a pontoon boat through Lake Lure Adventure Company. Both were wonderful experiences! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was a breeze including booking our excursions. Patrick took us out tubing and we had a blast. The kids loved him! Highly, highly recommend.

We reserved a 22' pontoon yesterday & really enjoyed our day. The staff was very friendly & the boat was very clean & as advertised. After some quick paperwork & a demonstration of the boat, we were off. The lake is a little small but offers incredible views of the mountains. There's plenty of places to explore and take a dip into the cool water safely. We brought our 2 Westies with us & they had a blast swimming & lounging in the sun while we putted around this gorgeous lake.Thank you LLAC for letting us bring our fur babies & making lasting memories. Your staff was so friendly & professional. We also enjoyed meeting Hamilton. Until next time..Just a tip to viewers - there are a ton of steps to get down to their facilities (bottom of a big hill). People with leg/foot/knee problems (or older age) may not be able to navigate the step grade.Also, parking is limited & leaving is an accident waiting to happen (you back into oncoming traffic near a blind curve).

Michaela was absolutely amazing from when i first spoke to her on the phone to when me and my party arrived to lake lure. She was very sweet and personable. Being from Florida the lake was pretty small, but we all enjoyed it. Thank you Michaela and Lake Lure Adventure Company for a great day out of the water!

What an awesome company! Had a 2 hour rental in a brand new boat which was plenty of time to get all around the lake and swim for about a half hour or so. Would definitely come back to this company for future rentals!

Hired a boat for 1 hour (not long enough!!) we had a great time swimming in the lake and seeing some of the beautiful lake shore houses. The boat was in great condition and well appointed and easy to use. Relaxed and informal check in at their pontoon. Would recommend using these guys, but go for longer than 1 hour.

Lake Lure adventure company was wonderful. They had the boat ready for us right when we got there and we're very kind and patient with us as they explained and went through all of the procedures for the boat. We felt very comfortable and safe renting from them. The boat looked like it was brand new and everything worked as it should. We were also pleasantly surprised that the boat came with Bluetooth so we were able to play our own music and really enjoy our time on the lake. It was a blast and we would definitely look to rent from them again.

We had such an amazing time today! Friendly staff and very reasonable for the time we were out on the lake. They were willing to charge us based on time on the pontoon. The boat itself was roomy and well maintained- comfortable seats and easy to use. Plus dog-friendly. Highly recommend while visiting Lake Lure.

My family and I have used this company a couple times in the past. Always an excellent experience. The customer service is friendly and top-notch. On our trip to Lake Lure we had a sudden family issue and the good folks here took care of us on very short notice. We will be back many times in the future and will always recommend through word of mouth.

We booked this company for tubing yesterday and had the most enjoyable time. Everyone there was so nice and friendly and our driver Michael was fantastic. We wanted a great experience for our Granddaughter and her friend and Michael made it happen. He was so attentive and patient to ensure these young girls had a memorable lake experience. We will be back again soon and will spend more time on the lake next time.

The best place on lake lure to rent a boat, take a ski lesson, try a kayak or let them help you with planning a day on the lake. Book very early before getting here. Lake lure Adventure often sells out all their boats and ski spots early

Excellent pricing and service from beginning to end. This was our first lake boat rental experience and it was fantastic. Great staff - we got hit with a rain storm and headed back early - very kind staff didn't charge us for the 30 minutes we lost due to weather. This was also one of the only places that did 2-hour rentals.
