Hated having to park at the bottom. The bus rides were horrible. 😫Getting there early enough to park at the top is the way to go!The veiws were amazing hikes were all worth it except, the one that goes to the top of the waterfall. That trail was every disappointing and very strenuous. Isn't that great of a veiw.However, the opera box and the actual main attraction are the best veiws.Now, the waterfall is an experience all in itself.

This place is nice. You have 2 choices you can ride an elevator to the top and climb a small stair bridge to chimney rock amongst some others like devils head which I recommend or you can climb the stairs that weave in and out of rocks and caves. I reccomend the stair trail it's good exercise and the views on the way up are awsome

A must for everyone! We parked at the bottom parking lot and took the trails all the way to Exclamation Point. It was well over 1K steps to that peak. Numerous legs of trails, hills, stairs. It took us 90 mins from bottom to top. Take lots of water and breaks when needed. The scenery is amazing and doing forget to have fun in your time of self torture. Put down the device and get with nature! Worth the adventure.

Easy drive into the park,make sure to have your money ready for payment or your credit card.Lower parking is available and shuttle will take you to the main access area (not far).If you are driving small cars parking should be easy.

Ample parking for visitors of chimney rock mountain. If you park on the lower level it is a bit of an uphill walk.

Great family destination! Thankful for the elevator that takes you for a ride almost to the top to Chimney Rock. Just a short stair climb gets you the gorgeous views seen here. Other photos are of the features along the kids trail.

We got there and the top parking lot is a serious go. It's right where you want to be and the view is incredible. The bottom parking lot is where most people will end up and there are plenty of shuttles to take you to the top. I don't know how they are expirence wise. Get there early and you'll get the top.

Basic parking lot at the entrance to the park. If you park in lower lot, you must hike a 3+ mile trail (uphill) to the main lot and welcome center.

What a fantastic place to visit. It's quite the climb to the top, but the views were exquisite. The day we were there you could probably see 20 miles

The lower parking lot is large, mostly grass with a gravel pathway. There is fully functional restrooms. The walls in the ladies restroom is painted with a nature theme, very pretty. There is a soda machine between the men's and Ladies restrooms. Access to the Great Woodlands trail and Four Seasons trail are located in the lower parking lot.The upper lot is where you would want to park to get closer to the Chimney Rock, and the waterfalls. This parking lot is paved.

Views, views, and more views! The drive to Chimney Rock is curvy with lots of beautiful homes to oogle. The day I went was quite warm and a storm was approaching. The clouds looked like you could jump on one and take a ride. The trails were a bit much for my big dog as they are steep and she dislikes hilly terrain. If you are into photography, this spot is a field day!

15-25 parking spots were available up top, but they forced us to park in the lower lot and ride a bus up top. We had our dog, and he was scared of the big bad bus. No reason we couldn't park up top! Rude parking lady

Parking is terrible you must walk a long distance to get from parking to the entrance to chimney rock also the parking lot is washed out with huge potholes. If you have a small car prepare to scrap the undercarriage of your car or leave exhaust system behind.

Dirt parking lot. There are some attractions near by but nothing seemed to be open due to rain. You will wait for the bus/shuttle to take you up to the top.
