this store is the cleanest dollar general I have ever been to the workers are super friendly too. I heard they had a new manager that from another store. Well whatever they are doing is working. Keep up the good work Knotts island!!!!!

This store was very cluttered and the restroom was extremely dirty. I will never shop at this location again.

Filthy.It's bad enough Dollar General invades small towns to try & burry ma & pa shops, there is nothing healthy here. (Not everyone puts GMOs & toxic food ingredients in their body.) The coolers are DISGUSTING! The milk coolers have inch of dry, crusted milk from actually selling milk that isnt even full gallon from leaking! They are never sealed. You couldn't fit a cart down an isle if you had to. Mounds of merch thrown about on tables that hasn't sold in over 6 months. Glad I didn't apply here, because the list of obvious goes on & on.Anyone looking for rugs - same brand, bigger size, cheaper price at 5 Below. This goes for many items there.

This place is a mess. The aisles are so full of rolltainers and random stuff on the floor. The bathrooms were disgusting, the toilet looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. There was no soap in the bathroom either. No one is ever at the register, you either have to sit and wait for 10 minutes or go and find an employee. They’re typically outside smoking.

This Dollar General store was built in a rural area where many people have objected to it. I being a lifelong resident saw great potential from this store being built. There is another convenient store already. My family actually started this store many many years ago. I will always be loyal to this store even though my family no longer owns it. They have some things that Dollar General doesn't offer. But anyways I can save a substantial amount of money by visiting this store as compared to driving 30 minutes to the nearest Walmart. I just wish they had a generator for when storms knock out the power.

Sold out of alot of items. A gallon of milk we bought that was supposed to be good until July 27th 2020 was sour upon opening it July 6th 2020. Not sure what thats all about but hopefully others didn't get sold sour milk from a sealed container

Nice to have a "variety" store on the island. This is not a GREAT store but the people are nice, it is kept clean, unlike some of the others I have been to before.

Quick and easy shopping, think of Dollar Tree with wee bit higher grade items but rather low prices.
