My little one Venus had her first grooming experience and it was wonderful! I can’t say enough great things about Niki, she took care of my baby and had her looking and smelling amazing when I picked her up. My Venus is 18 weeks so she was a little nervous but Niki made sure she was comfortable and happy. I’ll definitely be bringing Venus here from now on! Great job Niki!!!!!!!!

I came here to look at the adoptable fur babies through Alley Cats and Angels. The store was neat and organized. Friendly staff. It's a one-stop shop for animals. Plenty of options to choose from. I came home with everything I needed.

I take my fur baby to get groomed here. His groomer Niki is awesome she takes very special care of him because he's a senior baby 17 years old and still going strong 💪🏿. Thank you Niki I couldn't ask for a better groomer.

First time taking my dog to this location for grooming. Love the way it turn out, no cuts, no bruises on his body; usually when we took him back from groomer there is always some cuts because he doesn't like to be groomed. The groomer is very patient and explain to us his report card. Will bring him back to the same place.

Love Love Love the help I received when picking out fish for my daughter's birthday!! We had someone walk us through what we needed and how to get the water ready. I had no idea you couldn't take the fish home the same day as the tank. It's takes over a week to get it ready. Great customer service.

Niks, in the fish department, was so knowledgeable and friendly. I stopped using Petsmart in years prior because they lacked in this department. I will definitely be back knowing he is working there.

I thought Petsmart employs people who care for pets and are compassionate but not at that store. Every time I ask them to give me the styrofoam boxes they receive from the fish they lie in my face saying they threw them away. They didn’t I know that for a fact , they just are too lazy to go to the back and give them to me and it would save a colony cats life, especially when it’s so cold. That lady with the glasses in the fish section didn’t even say a world when I said you could have saved a life! Wow just wow, shame on those people! On top very rude

Went in for fish supplies a couple days ago and wondered around looking at fish. was disturbed at the amount of dead fish and a dead turtle just sitting in the tank for who knows how long. Only getting these 3 stars because the lady at checkout was super nice.

Honestly, they should be shut down until their fish keeping is dealt with. I’ve never been so disturbed by the lack of animal care at a pet store. I couldn’t tell for sure but besides the terrible algae bloom that created water so foggy you couldn’t see past the glass, but it looked like the turtle they had for sale was dead. The whole experience was tragic. Unacceptable!

Groomers are lazy, rude and care less about the actual animals. Groomer claimed my dog couldn’t get groomed on Christmas Eve because she was matted and kept licking her! Called a mobile grooming salon the day after Christmas that came and groomed her perfectly. No complaints about her being matted and didn’t even have to cut her short like petsmart stated they would have to. 10/10 would NOT recommend this petsmart. But definitely check out Tay with Paw Tails N.C. She is thorough and truly heaven sent.

The young lady that help groom my pet was awesome. How ever the one star was for the attuide and lack of customer service I experience from the taller young lady with glasses on duty 10/27 at 2:30. A bit upset to even bother to get her name. I stop coming to this location for a while due to the bad experience from pervious staff. And yet here we are again. I will not be back even if they offered the grooming for free.

Took my puppy for his first haircut and when my roommate went to watch she saw the woman holding him by the neck while brushing him violently and screaming at him to be quiet, while ripping his hair out and scolding him when he was crying and shaking. We are outraged that this is allowed to happen, and no one stopped her from abusing him when he is only 17 weeks old and barely weighs 2 pounds.

Came to get our puppy trimmed after a poor experience at the PetSmart on Millbrook. The manager Victor went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Extremely satisfied with the staff here and will be using this store for trims from here on out.

The grooming salon is amazing. My anxious baby Rocky loves the ladies here. They love on him so much, Skylar is wonderful! She always takes time with him and he helps him to feel comfortable. She also walked him all the way to the front entrance when he didn’t want to leave the last time we went lol. I wouldn’t take my baby anywhere else.

CUSTOMER BEWARE: I purchased a bag of Meow Mix Kitten Chow at this location on 03/12/2020. The expiration date on this bag is 12/2020. I opened this bag on 03/30/2020, only to find it filled with dead bugs, spider webs, moths, and foul smelling food. After closer inspection, I noticed spider webs on the outside of the bag, too. This food has been stored in a sealed container until it was opened on 03/30/2020, so there is no way it was contaminated at my house. I called PetSmart in Knightdale and spoke with Brandy, an assistant manager. She stated, "Meow Mix is made in the mid west (factcheck: they're based in Alabama) and in that area of the country, worms are often found within the harvests of grain used to make the cat food. In fact, these worms are able to eat through the stitching on the bags and get in the food that way. This is a totally normal issue and the food is still safe for your cat." I'm sorry, I've been buying cat food for 20 years and never once have I seen this. Also, my cat is disabled and there was no way I was feeding him stinky, bug-filled food. Brandy did offer for me to come in and pick up a new bag of food, but I chose to go to the PetSmart in Cary instead. Not only did I receive a bag of food at the other location that expires in 2021, versus 2020 at the Knightdale location, but it is much fresher and bug-free. Also, notice how the inside of the bags are two different colors. Strange. Please go to another PetSmart to ensure you're getting the freshest product for your money.

Custoner service is lacking bad. I have several different types of animals so I go throughout the store. I was asked if I needed anything at fish because I had to say I guess I'll get my own fish. (after standing around the fish for at least 5 minutes while the guy was there) I looked at their habitats to maybe get a new hamster, but they clearly do not care about them after the nasty habitats they're in. Bathrooms are just nasty. A lot of their fish tags are wrong on how big a fish gets, and they're pretty high priced on a lot of their items. Their small animal section needs better selection, the new tiny tales cages are extremely too small also

Originally made a grooming appointment a little over a month out due to that being the first available appointment. A couple weeks later got an email that my appointment was cancelled with no reason or call from store. I was able to make another appointment around the same time thankfully. Now the day of my appointment it was cancelled and nothing open for another month. While I understand things happen it’s really frustrating to have waited so long and not have any options for another month. Grooming appointments are booked out everywhere so had I known this place was going to be so flakey I would have booked elsewhere. Based on the reviews I read today about this place I am glad I didn’t end up having my dog groomed here and will not be going here as well as letting everyone I know my experience. If you can’t staff properly you should either not have a grooming department or have a manager who knows how to manage a schedule. A great tip would be to have someone on staff for backups or even walk ins!

We scheduled an appointment in advance for our small elderly dog to get a trim at the groomer.Literally 30 minutes from the appointment time, they called my partner and told him that they have students working that day and they could not service an elderly dog because it "takes too long".They did not have any bookings open for weeks. They did not help us find an appointment at another location. What a waste of time.

We told them not to cut my dogs little Mohawk and payed extra for the service they gave him a BOWL CUT very disappointing never again not to mention he came out covered with dandruff which he did not have before they claimed the freshened his teeth but his breath smelled worse than before he went in

I feel they sent me to an over priced hospital I feel someone was getting something out of it. Almost caused me to put my little dog to sleep. Was told by pets mart it would only be 1 to 2 thousand but the hospital said they told them 4 to 5 thousand but after hurting thinking about putting my dog down . I found out another hospital would do the same surgery for 1100.00 . Not happy how many dogs have lost to this scam
