This location is well tailored to the beach customer. However, despite a spectacular mural of the Wright Brothers 1st Flight occupying the entire south exterior wall, there were next to no products commemorating the Wright Brothers which had their flight less than a dozen miles to the south. They had a single T-shirt design and a taffy with a vintage-style wrapper commemorating the Wright Brothers. They had plenty of toys, some of them even airplanes, but NO Wright Flyers in toy or model kit form. They didn't even have a beach towel with the 1st Flight commemorated. I came here with the express purpose of spending money foolishly on Wright Brothers paraphernalia and left empty-handed. What's more, there isn't much of a beach market in the cold winter but there will always be aviators coming every December 17th.

The mural is cool, the merchandise is inexpensive. What I did not appreciate was the fact that there is only one smelly bathroom with one toilet for the entire store, men and women. Also there was some pretty inappropriate merchandise in the middle of the store for all to see 😬... They have good shoe options but I honestly preferred the other Super Wings in South Nags Head.

The best thing I could say about this store is that it has a lot to choose from. It's almost hard to look at everything. But they have a lot of deals, for all you save a penny buyers. Example being buying a trucker hat $10.99 for one, 2 for $20. It's definitely everything you could need at the beach and more as long as your willing to look.

I will start this review by stating I have reviewed places like this rather harshly but went this year because a friend asked for something from the store. I was so prepared for a terrible experience and was pleasantly surprised! They not only had a clean store when we went (second week of august 2022) but the staff were nice. Even though English was most of their second language they were pleasant and engaging in conversation. I even found a lot of made in the USA stuff!! I would have loved to see more locally made and higher quality items but a HUGE improvement from the previous year!

This store has so many options when it comes to summer clothing, toys for kids at beach, etc. Fair prices. You can find everything you need for your vacation needs!!

Okay 3 stars may have been a little harsh but when there is one of these stores literally every half mile or so between Duck and Jockeys Ridge, its a little hard to give them more than just 3 stars. That being said the stores were clean and fairly tidy, they had decent prices and a lot of tourist trap stuff to choose from. Fair warning there are some inappropriate mugs and shot glasses of bare breasts that could have been hidden a little better but what do you expect from a beach shop. All together we spent probably around $125.00 and aren't disappointed with what we bought.

I found 2 embroidered sweatshirts on sale in Corolla and 3 long sleeve shirts and a bathing suit in Kitty Hawk. Got a free bags for my purchases. Glad they had try on rooms so I did not buy the wrong size.

Nice not crowded very safe atmosphere associates all wearing masks as well as the customers. They have a very good product selection and for a tourist targeting retailer their prices are surprisingly affordable. I'll definitely be going back.

Good prices and things, wide range of items, BUT HANG YOUR KATANAS RIGHT! handle to the left. Or at least be consistent. It’s a sign of hospitality to hang them handle left, as all samurai were trained to use their right hand dominantly. Hanging them leftward makes it less convenient to grab at any moment, making you feel safer. Just google it. HANG THEM RIGHT, GOD!

It had a lot of cool stuff and cute clothes. Had a hard time finding swim shorts that were the right size for my little boy. Prices were reasonable for what I purchased. I was a little confused as to where to check out at but the lady was nice enough to tell me where to go.

This is my first time visiting the east coast and all my mom and dad could talk about was this store. It's huge with a massive selection of clothes and souvenirs!! Plus everything is HALF OFF!! I loved it!! I got four shirts, all originally $14-$19, a pair of $20 sweats, and $8 flip flops, all for just under $45!! It was amazing!! I guess they're only open during the summer, but if you're ever out in the OBX near the end of summer, go and shop till you drop!!

The ultimate tourist trap- in a good way! The selection of shirts is ridiculous; (I think I have 6). Other knickknacks to remember your trip are held there too. However, prepare your wallet because it ain't cheap.

Nice place with a lot of souvenirs to choose from as well as beach needs like body boards and wake boards. Plenty of clothes like shirts and hats as well. Many great bargains and the staff was very friendly.

Fine store, but their hermit crabs are treated terribly. At least 40 of them crammed in a tiny wood and wire box. If they treat the crabs humanely the review will be changed, until then the 1 star stands.

I'm not sure why...but for some reason this has always been my favorite wings location. I think it may just be because the store is more spacious and everything doesnt seem as crammed in there as the other locations. We always visit wings every year. Always get a few key chains, magnets, and t shirts. The kids enjoy picking out necklaces and anklets, etc. Alot of people do complain about their hermit crabs. Which is understandable. But alot of this practice is purely just ignorance. Alot of the employees themselves aren't even knowledgable on proper care. and it's not uncommon if you actually end up buying a hermit crab that's already sick. I wouldn't recommend buying a hermit crab period unless you're ready for serious care. They're not a hamster you throw in a cage and feed and water and it's good to go. They require certain humidity levels or they will suffocate...which is probably the cause of death of majority of all hermit crabs people buy for their kids. They require both salt and fresh water. And it's other things to care for them properly. Definitely do your own research on the care for these animals before even contemplating buying or you'll just be wasting your money bc they most likely won't live long from improper care.
