My family and I checked out Super Galactic Games while on vacation in the Outer Banks and was totally blown away! First off, the service was over the top, the employee helping us out was very fun and helpful- she introduced my family to Magic cards and had tons of patience as we asked super obvious questions. She really knew her stuff and explained things in a way we all could follow. Also, the comics selection was surprisingly good. We had a lot of fun digging through the boxes of vintage comics. Pricing was overall pretty reasonable considering how touristy the area is. There is a whole video game section as well as a table top gaming section. In general I think this place is a must visit for gamers on vacation!

Wasn't sure what we would find but this place is pretty cool. A large assortment of comics, cards, and games. I don't think you will be disappointed in stopping by. A large selection of everything.

I stumbled on the shop on Facebook and stopped by while visiting family in the outer banks. They have an amazing selection of comics and games! I'm a big magic and warhammer player and they had tons of sealed product and singles. Lots of board games, video games, action figures and collectibles. The guy working at the counter was super nice and friendly. I picked up a really cool looking store shirt while there, love the artwork on it! Will definitely bring my stuff to play some games next time I'm in the outer banks!

Super nice staff! Stopped by on our way to see the light house and wild horses. Even made a second stop coming back, clerk was really good and helpful with my son. She made his day! Prices on retro games were good too.

Nice shop and helpful staff. There were many Marvel and DC comic book short boxes for us to go through, not a lot of independent comics though. They seemed more geared towards gaming, mostly Magic The Gathering and the sort. Very neat and organized though.

I've truly never experienced a better store or a more inviting environment. The staffs extensive knowledge of all their products helped me find new hobbies and fun games to play with my community the outer banks has to offer. The owner is so passionate about what he does and it shows in all areas. Thank you super galactic!!

Glad that I was able to find a game store that wasn't an hour away from the hotel I was staying at. Everytime I visit the OBX I find myself wishing there was a gamestore to hang at for awhile. Well this is the place :). At first glance you may feel it's a bit small however once inside it opens to a nice walk through of games, comics and cards. Jared was welcoming and helpful about comics and even MtG cards. The place was neat and organized and I recommend visiting when you're in the area. Definitely will be back on the next vacation.

This is an awesome small business with actually good prices. I'm serious. The prices for Pokémon cards were extraordinarily reasonable and fair and that's not something you expect to find in a vacation town! The staff was super nice and helpful and very engaging! I'm excited to come back again.

I love these kind of stores! I stopped by with my wife and picked up a board game I was searching all over OBX for! I regret not getting the gentleman's name that was working because he was absolutely wonderful to talk to. I plan on stopping by every time in in town going forward. I can't recommend Super Galactic enough!

This is one of the best gaming stores I've ever visited, hands down. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was looking for a specific magic card worth less than 10 cents and an employee spent upwards of 15+ minutes looking for me. Prices on single cards were unbeatable. Selection of cards was some of the best I've ever seen. Variety of products from board games to collectibles to old video games, comic books and more just blew me away. The atmosphere was super friendly too. A number of families with kids came in and the staff was incredibly patient, upbeat, and helpful with the kids. If you're looking for anything gaming related and are in the OBX area, GO HERE. I'd easily drive an hour+ just to shop.

Popped in here while killing time on vacation. I always like to support a small business game shop. Had a nice selection of board games and a great spread of old gaming gear if you needed to replace any peripherals or copy of an old game.I was drawn into the dice selection which was great and nicely priced. Picked up a slew of new digit candy and couldn't be happier. Everyone was super friendly too!

Great store. Great selection in games and a sizable back issue comic stick. Prices are seasonable. I bought a small stack of comics on a rainy day when they were busy and the cashier gave me an extra 20% off. Nice people in there.

A fine little store, and a gem of a find on this vacation. Clerk was passionate about gaming, and appreciated my own. Sold me a 1980 printing of the basic DnD rules and treated that piece of gaming history with respect at a steal price. A perfect place to stop for the gamer on vacation.

Super great local game shop. Wonderful selection of vintage video games, action figures, comic books, and more. I stopped by while on vacation to check out their selection of Dungeons and Dragons items and was pleasantly surprised by the size of it. Also the owner spoke to me about D&D and invited me to the store's weekly Thursday evening game. (Which I had to decline due to ending my trip that same morning.) Really large selection of Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon TCG cards, both new booster packs and singles. If you are looking at images of the store on Google before visiting know they need to be updated. The store's inventory is much, much greater than any of them show.Oh, they also allowed our dog to come inside the store (at their invitation, I didn't ask) so that's another huge plus if you're in the area with your pup.

This place was great, and we only found it when we decided we needed a board game for the "hotel times." I mean, you can only watch but so much "Everybody Loves Raymond". And it was a good thing we did because the staff was great and super knowledgeable. In conversation, our daughter explained she has only played Pokemon video games, but while she does collect Pokémon cards, she hasn't played the card game yet. They were excited to help her get started and invited us back for their Pokémon freeplay on Sunday, which we took them up on. It was such an awesome experience because she was immediately included in a local family's game, with boys her own age, who were excited and happy to show her the ropes. Overall, I was just really impressed, and we definitely plan to stop by when we come back to OBX!!!!!

Wonderful location with an astounding amount of stock and variety, from retro consoles to tabletop supplies to MTG boxes from way back to current sets, along with extremely friendly staff and a fantastic layout with an additional game space in the strip.Don't miss out on this gem if you're anywhere within an hour of Kitty Hawk. It's worth the drive and visit for sure. Thanks for the Patrician Geist Extended to complete my MID/MIC binder!

Wow! What a great find in the Outer Banks. During our week long stay we visited the store three times matching the number of times we were on the beach. My son loved the Pokemon selection. I loved the Magic the Gathering selection. We all loved the comprehensive Dungeons & Dragons section. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The owner spent time chatting with us as well. This is great LGS and absolutely worth multiple visits if one is just on vacation.

This Store is extremely well stocked and fair on your trade ins. Going in I was skeptical because I knew what I had was worth and had gotten lowballed everywhere else from Virginia Beach to kill devil hills while down for vacation he was my last hope and he came through with the exact number I had in my head and even worked with me on an item in the store I had been searching for. He was very nice to show my daughter his stranger things photos she was excited to talk with another fan.I recommend this store to anyone looking to liquidate there collections and get a fair offer.

Man, this place is awesome. Bright lighting, nicely decorated, and the staff were super friendly and loved talking to me and my son! If you're looking for a hobby shop a while you're staying at the Outer Banks, this is the place! I wish I'd had more time to hang out!

This is a fantastic location to visit for comics, cards, and games. The staff are very very pleasant to speak to, are very kind, and will answer questions if asked. I'm visiting from Maryland, where the comic & game stores can be a little hit or miss, and I'm honestly sad that we don't have one of these back home!The store is very clean, they recently doubled their floor space as well and have it very well thought out and laid out. Things were easy to find, prices were clearly labeled and fair. Speaking of fair, the store does an amazing job of keeping prices fair. Pokemon is a great example of this- back home, my local card shops are scalping their own inventory and hurting their buyer base. Here? They keep everything at MSRP and don't take advantage of the Pokemon fan base.I'll be making sure to keep this on my list of places to go every time I visit OBX. You definitely should as well!

1. The store has an amazing selection of comics, collectibles, cards, and rpg stuffs. The person I talked to was friendly, knowledgeable, and was flawlessly multitasking between multiple customers.2. The bathroom was disgusting. Game stores have a bad reputation for this and we have to do better. If you want to be inclusive that is the first step.
