Warm cake like donuts. Ordered a hot coffee and was presented a cup to serve myself. There seemed to be one person working and 3 chatting behind the counter. Touristy spot.

OMG... The best place ever... Fresh n hot donuts made to order not really bring home donuts better to eat them there while they are fresh n hot.... They are pricey but VERY MUCH WORTH EVERY CENT....We had to bring some home to Jacksonville Florida but they don't taste the same as great n hot... But don't get me wrong they were still worth the trip home..Annetta ate her 3 n I ate 1 saving the other 2 for later...Mine were the sugar and cinnamon with the apple slices in the middle and the peanuts on top the one I always get always enjoy kind of skimped on the apples this time but still worth it.... Enjoy we did

We try to find a donut shop whenever we are someplace new. These might be a tied for our favorites ever! So yummy and thebkids thought it was cool to see the "donut machine". The young man making the coffee was super busy but did a great job of getting customers taken care of!

Staff were busy with several dozen orders ahead of us but never made us feel rushed, were very friendly and despite a busy expedite, we had our half dozen very quickly. We've been to several Ducks all over various locations, this was a great visit. My son loves watching them made right in front of us. Delicious warm and freshly made, and equally delicious letting the box sit for an hour or two and eating later!! A family favorite and SO many options to make your own.

This is just a great place! We've been fortunate enough to celebrate a few birthdays while in the OBX. And when we do, we celebrate with Duck Donuts rather than cake! The fresh donuts are just plain superior! And topping are magic!

Holy cow those bacon maple donuts are amazing!!! The donuts are really delicious! They truly are great donuts! The coffee is tasty too!Came here with the family when we were walking by one morning. There was a line to get in outside. Due to Covid only 10 people were allowed in at a time. The line to get in; was stretched outside. We were waiting to get in and some lady just drives up in her car and walks right in and cuts the whole line. I called the lady out and she just brushed me off saying well I wasn’t inside. I asked if she had a mobile pick up order. She said no. I let her know that she cut the whole line but she didn’t care. No one said anything else to her. Everyone could hear me call her out inside because only 10 people were allowed in at a time anyway!The story does end well though!! When I was leaving a worker at Duck donuts asked if I wanted 12 donuts for free because someone never came to pick them up. I wonder if it’s because they heard the line cutting altercation I had with the Karen! Kudos to duck donuts for making it right by comping the free 12 donuts!! Even though they didn’t say anything at the time; they made it right!

We were told we had to go to Duck Donuts while visiting OBX.Hot, Fresh and Made to Order!It does take some time with them being busy and making them after you order so it is not a quick in and out but worth the wait.Will have to stop again before we head home!

Holy Cow!!! The breakfast sandwiches are made from donuts. I had an egg, sausage, and cheese with donuts as the bread with maple drizzle and chopped bacon topping it all. I am not a huge cake donut fan, but these were so light and fluffy and moist. They are made right in front of you at the store, super duper fresh!!! For a donut or multiple donuts, you can order them topped ANY way that you want!!! It is unbelievable. Duck Donuts OBX rules.

Duck donuts is a must have if your visiting the OBX. There’s a donut for everyone. We got a dozen of the “campfire” assortment and ordered online to beat the crowd. It was Monday morning which is bound to be busy, but luckily the online ordering tells you exactly how long it’s going to take. I also liked the online order rack where they put the orders when they’re ready, it makes pick up suuuuper easy. We went grocery shopping while we waited… SOOO WORTH “the wait!!”

How could you ever rate a hot custom donut bad?Simple you can’t!Hot and fresh off the line with tons of tasty options, which means you have to wait a few minutes to have them made, so have patients people there’s magic happening here!Great combination of flavors, I like the maple bacon and lemon coconut!But after you pick your favs always go assorted!Shop is also nice and clean and the staff was great!Always 1 of my must stops in the OBX!

Extremely disappointed! They missed adding our toppings! Very very disappointed. We drove half an hour and waited 50 minutes to get our donuts. How the heck can you miss to top them?!? Ridiculous!No bacon on maple bacon AND no peanuts on chocolate peanuts.

My first time at Duck Donuts! What a delight! Yes they are pricey and it is kind of hard to figure out what you want at first. But it was really neat watching them make the donuts. It was so yummy and fresh. And getting to eat hot donuts. Wow! I'm hooked. Loved it.

Donuts were made fresh to order, they have a lot of options to choose from. The donuts were so soft and cake like consistency it was so good warm! Definitely a good place for breakfast. I also got a bacon egg and cheese on a donut that was pretty delicious!! It was so good I didn’t even get pictures!!!

We love going to this Duck Donuts every year. The staff is great with curious kids and we all like watching the donuts being created. If you travel to OBX it is a must!

Such excellent donuts! Loved being able to see them being made fresh and they sure tasted like it. So many choices, all equally delicious. Best part though was the iced southern pecan coffee!!

Well, what do say that hasn't been said about Duck Donuts .How about a religious experience. All I heard was OH MY GOD !! How good they were . For the people who gave one star for service, get a life the donuts alone are 5 star and restaurant business has been behind since covid fining good people or haven't you heard . To take away 4 stars is a total shame... Also I noticed that all the low reviews had less than 10 reviews. Maybe they need to go out more so they can see what bad service really is .

Great food. Wait times even with ordering ahead are about 20min behind for breakfast sandwiches. Donuts came out in a reasonable time expected, but had to wait a long time for the two egg sandwiches that I ordered after the donuts came out on two separate occasions. Lots of employees standing around doing nothing while the place was packed. That was frustrating but the food was great.

Duck Donuts had a line when I got there at opening. The donuts did not disappoint. They were cake donuts that are made to order and best eaten warm. All though warm is the preferred way to go, they are still tasty cold. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Went to get a "treat" for my son, he loved it and had fun watching the donut robot. Great deal on made to order donut, like $1.50. My wife was disappointed that they didn't have soy or almond milk for coffee drinks.

Great customer service. Helped with the ordering process which was intimidating with so many options. GREAT donut! We had a classic glaze w sprinkles, maple chocolate bacon and a peanut butter glaze with BlackBerry sauce & Graham dust that taste JUST LIKE a PBnJ!!!

Ordered online to pick up because there's usually a line. Turned out there wasn't this morning. The order service set the earliest pickup time at 9AM and I got here at 8:30 to get in line. Turned out there wasn't one. The lady refused to make the sandwiches early in spite of having almost no one in the store. To get them earlier, I had to order two more which I did because we were pressed for time. It would have been so easy to do the right thing in this situation, but she made zero effort to cooperate. Good donuts but staff needs training.

The two female employees at the counter both had attitudes, one of them continue to shout out those stickers are not free, this happened at least three times while I was there, everyone of the parents had no idea kind of embarrassing to put people in a spot like that. I didn’t know what she was referring to until I saw another kid take a sheet of stickers and then she continue to yell out those are not free. Probably a good idea to put a price sticker on them or maybe that’s just part of the plan to get the parents to buy the sheet for $4. The employee making the donuts even though he was having issues with the machine not working plus being busy he was super friendly. Donuts were great as always. I just figured that feedback is important in order to get better.
