This was our first time visiting, and it was such a pleasure meeting Anne and their mascot, Elli! We tried several samples, and Anne gave us so many great details about all of the different products and flavors. My son's favorite was the Traditional Prime Rib Flavored Beef Jerky, and my favorite was the Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate. My son said this is now his all-time favorite store! It's definitely worth the money. They will also ship to you. Please give them a try!

We enjoyed our first visit to this establishment. We were greeted promptly upon entering and enjoyed exploring the store. They have every type of jerky you can imagine... from Beef to Alligator to Python!! Yes...Python!! They have so many varieties of flavors and special deals (the more you buy, the cheaper the price) They also offer free samples upon request and they have Popcorn, dog friendly products as well as jams, jellies and sauces. We will definitely return when we're in the area!

Ok, my beach people get the slurpee, but not the jerky. When you hit the beach, just chillin out, on your way to lunch or on your way home. Stop in and get the naturally made not processed jerky. Original, specialty, or hey get yourself some big game jerky. A variety of flavors from mild med. And hot. Stop jerking around. Keep you weight down

I’d be broke if I lived near this store. The owner/operator was very knowledgeable and broke down the layout of the store along with the guidelines on the free samples. THATS RIGHT I SAID FREE SAMPLES! The free samples are great so that you know exactly what you are purchasing. Along with the jerky they have hot sauces & other snacks. Also had a deal going on while we came so I feel like they have specials they rotate which is nice. Will be a repeat customer whenever I’m in OBX.

What a wild place. It's like a Ripleys Believe it or Not of snacks. Something new and strange around every corner. There's something there for every taste.Steve met us at the door and gave us the quick overview. I swear he's the Bubba Gump of jerky..."you got yer beef jerky, yer turkey jerky, yer sweet jerky, yer spicy, jerky..."It's a tradeoff. You try nearly every sample (over 40) and you're gonna buy some, probably more than just some. You'll probably buy a lot. It's all good, except it probably won't last the car ride home...And they got more than just jerky. Candy, spices, jams, sauces, and mercy.

This jerky is delightful and flavorful. Not only that, the owner was very informative, sweet, and well-organized, very knowledgeable in what products were available, and picked up on my taste without me contributing a whole lot (chasing my toddler around lol). TONS of hot sauce and sweets too!

My daughter loves the hickory smoked elk, and my new favorite jerky is the cajun bbq smoked beef brisket!! Do yourself a favor and don't leave the beef jerky outlet without at least one pack!! Cherry maple smoked turkey was also REALLY good. Greeted at the door, the rep explained the layout of the store and we discussed the two different types of jerky they have, and apparently I can even order beef jerky online from them since I live out of the area.

Touristy stop in on the Outer Banks. Very wide variety of Jerkys... But the pricing is more for Novelty, rather than eating. Staff was very friendly and I had to try "Something with Carolina Reaper in it" while I was in town. I picked up a bag and asked how much... Ended up getting just a stick. Didn't really care for it... Good thing I didn't get the big bag of it.Worth a visit, if you are having dinner a few doors down.

Great experience!!! Susie was so helpful and knew about every flavor and variety in the store! Loved the fried peanuts and fried garlic as well! Great selection of hot sauces, BBQ sauce and mustards. Really great cap to our OBX trip. Will visit again. Thanks Susie!

What an amazing place. The staff was so kind and friendly. We are on a family trip, and jotted down this place as one of our stops. I’m so glad we did. The quality of the jerky, nuts, and even the sweets, was outstanding. If you’re making a trip to the outer banks, please do yourself a favor and stop by. You’ll love the place, just like my family and I did.

It was fun to try the exotics, but they all have so much barbecue flavor you can't tell a difference. Most exotics cut with pork. "Regular" beef jerky waayyyyy overpriced. They keep pushing 10% off next purchase, but there won't be one from me when you're 50% overpriced to begin with. Staff was very friendly at least, I just can't bring myself to way overpay just because the cashier was friendly.

Great customer service. I had never been in here and was given the run down on types of jerky and the different flavors. They made sure I had a fantastic experience. I will definitely be coming back for more. Don't sleep on their kangaroo jerky. 😍😍😍

Great customer service and great beef jerky! There were a number of samples available and I liked everything I tried. I’ve never ventured past the original beef jerky flavor at the grocery store check out line, but I’m so glad I did. 10/10 recommend

Every year we go and every year my boyfriend spends more than the previous year. And he always comes home very, very happy.So many flavors, so many styles, and other nifty goodies for people that aren't as eager to drop money on dried meat. Loved the gummy tree frogs! Oh, and chocolate covered gummy bears!Just a fun place to visit.

Stopped here while vacationing in the area. There are a handful of novelty flavors. And you pay novelty prices. I bought a small assortment of beef sticks. I found none of them to be any more impressive than what you can buy any grocery store, for less cost.Overall, not really worth going out of your way.I will note that staff was very friendly and eager to answer any questions customers might have.

Small business with great tasting products and very courteous and friendly staff. They're taking very reasonable pandemic precautions, so understandably they don't offer samples. That didn't dissuade us, and we elected to just get small bags to try in private and go back for more later if we liked what we got. After actually trying a few things, I can almost guarantee we'll be back tomorrow to take some home with us. Keep being awesome, guys!

Had a great shopping experience here. The owner told my group of 6 people how to find stuff in the store, what to look for as far as spice level, chewiness, sizes, etc. I bought 6 snackpaks and so far we have opened 2 and they are delicious!! I'm glad this place ships as I think I will order more online.I was secretly hoping they had samples to try but I guess because of covid they don't offer samples/tastings.They have all types of meats, even veggie jerky. They have different bugs if you want to try, freeze dried fruits, and dog treats.Stop at the Beef Jerky Experience for some delicious jerky! I recommend it!

Friendly and helpful staff. They give you overview of the store layout and products offered. Wr chose a snack pack of traditional teriyaki beef jerky, taaassstttyyy!!! I have since changed my review, on the owners basis. On how fast and courteous they were on resolving the issue that no longer needs addressed. However their jerky is the best I've ever had and I'm visiting from Arkansas, and it's better here than it is in my state. I'll definitely be stopping by again when I come to visit my friend.

My husband and I swing by anytime we are in town, it's about a 2 hours drive for us, and we bought a jar of their dip that had gone bad. After calling the store the owner reached out to apologize for this and shipped out a new jar without hesitation. I really have never had any issue with this location and will continue coming as often as possible.
