We absolutely love coming down every year and spending time with Robert at the Absolutely Outer Banks store. We love joining the classes offered on Wednesday and Thursday night and making beautiful things. The store is also full of amazing art and trinkets to carry home for ourselves or even as gifts for family and friends. If you want somewhere to visit that is not a tourist trap.....this is it.

The shop itself has a variety of beautiful works of art available for purchase. Pottery, paintings, glassware, jewelry, and the list goes on. I have taken and will continue to take Robert’s Art Classes. Robert encourages you to create your own masterpiece. His classes are fun and the end results are amazing.

I LOVE this place. They have a great selection of local art work. I visited the new location at MP 4.5 today. It is BEAUTIFUL. The owner was there, she is so nice and friendly 😀😀😀 . This place is a definite must visit on your next trip to the OBX. I can't wait to get home and hang up my new purchase Scuba Steve (pictured).

Our newest craze is to search for crystals in all the places we visit. This lovely small store has art from many local artists as well a CRYSTALS GALORE! The crystals are much better priced than the other stores down the street and the owner was nice to talk to. They have artisan soaps, jarred sauces, glass hangings and paintings. They also have art classes some days of the week. The finds in this store are always changing so come by again and again!

I was so scared that this place was closed as we drove up. We had the WORST weather imaginable for a first trip to the outer banks! It was cold, dark and rainy the whole frikkin week! So you can imagine why I wanted it to be open! It was open thankfully and it is a humongous space. The gentleman who runs it was the only other person in there. He is also the artist who did the resin work in there! He also has classes one day a month, I remember it was a Thursday but don't remember which!There are so many beautiful things here! We got a beautiful frosted glass bottle lamp, a night light with shells and a wreath made with oyster shells!I highly recommend stopping here and please be responsible and wear a mask! 😊

Awesome store, every inch is interesting, and the people working there are very friendly and helpful!Took me 20 minutes to make it past the entry of the store. Lots of wall-hanging art, carved rocks, furniture... it had a great and wide-ranging selection. And again, the people working there were so nice, happily explained details of items, and carried our furniture right into our car.

Came here with my family looking for some gifts and souvenirs to bring home. A friend recommended we check this store out and it was by far our favorite shop from our trip to the outer banks. We found some great paintings, furniture, and jewelry and the people working there were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to find beautiful and unique artwork.

When I say this is my new fave shop at Nags Head, I mean it! The people are so friendly and knowledgeable, and so FUN! The art & handmade crafts & art were beautiful! Lots of neat things, and excellent quality gifts! I spent majority of my souvenir budget here. Not because it was overpriced, but because I bought so many neat things! I wish I could give more stars! Definitely stop in here if you want more than just an OBX sticker. 🤭💖 Great shop, wonderful people! My husband Damian really enjoyed it also!

Excellent customer service. very cool treasures and unique items for every taste from country, pet lovers, distressed, beachy and too many tastes to name. Classes are nicely done, social distances, so everyone can feel safe. Debra and Robert love what they do and it shows in how proud they are in their shop. Lots are artists creations, shop and classes not to be missed. Beautiful store and very nice owners.

I loved this store! Stopped in here during our trip to Kitty Hawk. I was looking for a store where I could support a small business with local makers. This was definitely the store for me! They had such an array of decor, jewelry, cups, soaps, etc. made by local makers. I bought some really cute glass earrings, handmade soap, and an adorable Christmas ornament for my mom. The owner was so sweet too. She was very helpful and personable. Icing on the cake was that she was, also, from Pennsylvania and a Steelers fan like us! Loved it. Great experience.

Awesome shop that is wall to wall with beautiful art and decor. I stumbled in and stayed for over an hour just admiring all the unique pieces. Matt(?) was friendly and told me a little about the shop and the 190+ artists whose art is on display for sale. Art costs what it costs, but I was really surprised how affordable all these pieces were. Great shop, will return.

Amazing little place! We were told by the very nice owner that the store holds art from about 70 artists, and I was very impressed by the prices. A very eclectic mix of art and gifts, with plenty of things in the $15 to $30 range. I highly recommend stopping by if you're nearby!

We have made many purchases in person, by mai and have taken classes there. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the store and the quality of all their products. Staff goes above board to make customers happy. Resin/Glass windows that have been shipped to VA arrive in perfect condition. It is my favorite place (besides the beach) in OBX.

This is a fantastic art gallery with 110 artists exhibiting their work. My daughter and I had a wonderful time here. We got to know one of the owners...Debbie...and left with some treasures. This will now be an every trip place to visit!

They could have a better selection. The biggest problem I have is they Refuse any art from locals (as close as 10 miles away) If they don't actually live '' On the Beach ''. Many many locals can't afford to live on the beach. Housing is a large issue here. There are many VERY TALENTED artists that are very close to the beach, and most work on the beach serving Visitors.... Please consider visiting lots of locations for Art.
