Enormous amount of thrifted items to choose from! A lot of valuable housewares and that does not even begin to cover all that is outside.I bring my donated items from a half hour away to show my support for such a great cause.The staff is always helpful and polite.

They have raised their prices quite a bit with new management... almost like it is an antique shop. Part of the enjoyment of going is to see all the fun things you can find. But now it is a bit pricey.

This thrift store was larger than expected with little rooms off main rooms. Fun for treasure hunting. I thought prices were high until they said everything is half off. Was that just for certain days? Lovely staff.

Lots of items to choose from. Me and my very good friend have only been there twice and will absolutely return to do more shopping! She and I have the best time browsing and always find something to buy!!!😄😄🤗

Walked in got a awful stare down by the woman at the counter. Walked around found a cool item I was confused at the price so I asked and the rude man that was behind the counter also decided it was funny when I asked. A lot of the stuff at the windows you could not get to due to stuff everywhere. They are very high priced for a thrift shop. I went there to support the ASPCA but unfortunately everything Knic knac wise was outrageously priced for everything that had been donated to them. They had a teapot at $100. A set of salt and pepper shakers for $60 . Set of 2 cereal bowls with a rabbit print for $30 , and a miniature pineapple no bigger than a single shot glass for $30. I just can’t believe even though the stuff was donated, the prices are so high. At least they could do is get better customer service.

Lots of variety. Always adding new items, so it's never the same store twice. Easy in and out parking. Nice staff. Great cause.

I absolutely love Second Chances! The prices are fair, the quality of the items they sell are great, the associates who work there are great, and the cause the support is even greater! We love our SPCA, and we love Second Chances even more!! 🐾

They raise money for a good cause, but they are a bit pricey for a thrift store. Occasionally you can get a good deals. You never know what you will find, so give them a try when you're in the area. The staff is generally friendly and helpful if you need something. They have jewelry, clothes, shoes, a holiday room and lots of other stuff.

I absolutely loved this thrift store 🤩 they have sooo much to see and a wide variety of categories, Furniture, Clothes, Pet Items, Bedding, Kitchen Appliances Purses & Wallets, Shoes and sooo much more! Affordable and Friendly Service. I definitely recommend checking it out. I brought my family there and they loved it 💗

Great little thrift shop. The workers are very friendly, the prices are extremely reasonable and it is full of all sorts of wonderful little treasures. My only issue was, I got there to late in the day. I arrived an hour before closing time and an hour was just not enough time for me. Now I know for next time though. The best part is the money you spend goes to help the animals taken in by the Lenoir county SPCA.

I never typically write reviews but, I had to type about my experience here. I was rudely rushed out of here even though I had 30 minutes before close. I thought the shop itself, with its items were lovely. But, this black lady(no idea what her name was) was rudely rushing out. I work in the service industry, and would never rush my customers out. She could’ve at least said why she needed us out. All she said was they were closing the shop early but, there was no sign stating that either. I will try coming back another day, and giving it another chance as I always do with most places. But, so far they have given me terrible impressions. I wish I could give them 0 stars right now but, I’d still keep it at 1 star anyways because, they have cats. The only bright side to this terrible situation!

I am very disappointed with the customer service experience I received at the store. I had a hand full of items to purchase and love supporting the SPCA. I was greeted by an employee who said can I tell you something about the little girls dresses that you have in your hand? I said yes, thinking she was going to say they are cute. She then proceeded to tell me that they are now $15.00 a piece because they have a lady who comes in and tells them the worth of items. The store has a poster with the prices of all the items stating that girls dresses are $2.00 a piece unless marked otherwise. I told the employee that the dresses were not marked at $15.00 and she said she knows that but that’s how much they are and that she can now give them to me for $10.00. I decided then to put all of the items I had to purchase back on the shelves and leave. I no longer will be supporting them if they are unable to provide fair thrift store prices and stick to their word.

This place is so not good. Everything I was interested in they said was not for sale. A bench, a table, an arrangement. My advice is you are better to sell your stuff and donate your money directly to SPCA. The people at this place is a joke. They keep or take home what they want and the rest they dont care if it gets sold or not.

Friendly people,very helpful,great place for some wonderful deals. Not only that we are helping the animals w/donations and where can you get a certificate for $50.00 to get your cat/dog fixed at just about any vets you want. (Riverbank Animal ctr. Kinston) might be more for other things you have done at the time. ASPCA Second Chance= Great Place!!! Visit it..

Benefits the Lenoir County ASPCA. Very large, well organized, reasonable pricing. Accept debit cards and cash. Very friendly. I'm redecorating my kitchen and living room mostly by repurposing used items and I find plenty of things here.

OMG, I was there today 12/05/2020to look 4 stuff for A 8 year old boy who has nothing an the cashier ask me how the Give me the princess Santa Claus hat with the tiara was doing for me I said just fine and then I went on to tell her about me getting the little boy and how Now he has a bedroom and he says I have no stuff and I was like girl I want to do is cry these people are helping me with stuff said somebody gave me a gift card 2 get him some stuff he needed or wanted... I want to thank the young lady at the Register as well as the lady took is in the back im well we are so 🙏
