I would normally shop here daily to grab supplies for dinner on the way home but the food quality has been atrocious lately. My fiancé purchased coffee creamer that was in date yet curdled and spoiled, I’ve gotten energy drinks that were fermented, had Italian sausage that had me puking at 4 am, two nights ago I made chili with this store’s ground beef that gave us all the runs, and today the last straw being these Hawaiian rolls covered in fuzzy mold (don’t even get me started on the fruit).I know it may seem like a “me” and cooking problem but I’ve cooked professionally for seven years to the point I was paid to travel the country to train kitchen staff, I was ServSafe certified, and managed food shipments and orders multiple times a week. I know what food neglect and mishandling looks like and this is it. My guess is cold product is sitting out waiting to be put away on the floor for HOURS (food doesn’t just spoil like this unless it becomes room temperature and then put away), bread shouldn’t be molding like this unless there’s a moisture issue somewhere, and canned product definitely shouldn’t be fermenting when in date.I loved this store but I can no longer justify the money wasted or consistently rolling of the dice on whether my food is rotten or not and lately it’s more often than not.If you’ve been feeling sick lately this place might be your cause.

You can always find excellent deals if you take your time to read the flyer and also the yellow label sale store signs..Prices have risen but, if you use Manufacturers coupons with their store coupons you can save. Also buy BOGO and Sale items even if your pantry doesn't need it but, might later on and it's on sale now then a wise shopper gets it now while it on sale.

Although this store is compact it is well organized, clean and carries a decent selection of grocery items. The meat department always has a fresh selection and good variety of meats. Staff is friendly.

We were in the area on Sunday afternoon after church so we stopped by specifly to purchase the sausage ( hot, sage, mild) to find that they were all out ..I asked the manager if there were anymore but all out how disappointing. 🤷🏽‍♀️🙄 don't know when we'll be back In Wilbur North Carolina in a while.

Prices were good as were the options to choose from. Àa a truck driver I wás pleased they were a short walk from the truck stop I was parked at. Buying some food items to prepare myself saves me a lot of money while on the road.

dont like the self check out, when i go to the grocery store i dont want to bag my own groceries so i go to food lion. We use to go to this grocery store only .now they put the self check out in we never go here any more, a lot of elderly people told me they dont go no more on account of the self check out, so the person that came up with this idea congratulations youre running your customers off

The Kinston store was very accommodating, helpful and cordial in helping us to acquire our 10 lbs of Bass Farm sausage. They don't carry the hot but do have the sage. We are so happy🙂

Went into just walk around since I haven't been to one in years. Every thing was arranged nicely, the place was extremely clean and well lit. I bought some fruit and it was on sale but not in the register. Clerk told the staff to ring me up the sales price. I told other clerks to check and they also reiterated the sale price. I definitely will come back to shop.

The store manager deserves a few good lessons in manners from his staff. Even the high school students have better manners than he does. It also wouldn't hurt to have their IPA beer vendor come in a little more often. LOL

Love the piggly wiggly me and my wife Teresa Jordan shop at piggly wiggly 3,4,5 times a week matter of fact today 5/29/2021 after shopping I left some of our merchandise at check. Out counter not realising I had and store was busy Saturday evening, we were in car fixing to leave an cashier young man came out of store found us gave us our merchandise me and my wonderful wife give piggly wiggly 5 star rating and always have! ThankvYou for serving our community through this Pandemic May God Bless

This piggy wiggly is the most expensive of the three i shop at so ya don't come here much if i can help it best piggy wiggly of at the plaza or the one off 285 closer by Walmart those two have a bigger and better section of meats veggies and lots more

I really like this place, they carry a lot of pork items, don't live here anymore, but if you get the chance you should check them out good prices too, they also bag your groceries and put them in your car, how nice is that 😀

I don't like this one, people seem some what racist. I went there today. Was approaching a line. White women was leaving, guy clerck was like thank u, have a nice day. I approach register no, hey how u dping nothing. Never uttered a word. Rung up my order, other guy bagged them walked off nothing. Guy that took my order handed me my change and receipt and that was it. Woman directly behind me white approached and again he stated how u doing. I never got a word. Terrible customer service. Only piggy wiggly in Kinston I feel is like that. Other ones very welcoming.

Love the pig. Not as big as the one on 258. No bakery and didn't have everything I needed that I'm used to getting at the pig.... but nice little grocery store....
