It has good customer service, as well as the items I frequent but this was just disgusting. To have this on you shelves whether it be from customers or employees ( which it could be either one but I’m thinking one more than the other) is disgusting and disappointing to be honest especially with covid and everything. Please Foodlion do better, if this happens to be due to your employees… maybe you need to educate them with cleaning up after themselves.Needs new store management as well.

Lots of empty shelves. I was only able to get about half the items I had on my list. Prices are fairly high unless you use the MVP card. Store was clean and check out was quick. Cashier was friendly and helpful. She called to ask about the items that were out of stock, but no good news there.

1 star because is the lowest i can give. Jeff Davis. Manager at this location refused to take my passport as a photo ID. Told me i needed a state ID to buy alcohol from that store!Terrible service. I wouldnt recommend nobody to go to that store. No even the manager is trained to do his job.

Best Food Lion. On Vernon Venue, Kinston, NC. The store is always clean and aisles are uncluttered. I usually don't have to wait for a cashier. I have physical issues and I needed a big bag of Purina for my dogs. Without hesitation a female associate put it on my cart and at the register another associate said the he would load my groceries in the car. It doesn't get any better. Thank you Food Lion.

I love this grocery store...the employees are so helpful. They really make my trips enjoyable. It's always clean and well stocked unless a storm is coming (lol). Prices are good and I love the sales and promotions they always have going on.

This Food Lion is closer than the other though I shop at both. The store clerks and managers are very friendly and helpful. I enjoy shopping here.

I didn't actually shop here. Just took a friend who needed a ride to pick up a few groceries; however, as far as ease of access and convenience, it's aces. It's right on N. Queen Street and the parking lot is clean and well maintained.

Always some good deals at FL. BOGO,MVP, marked down items in meat dept. Not having long waits in line(walmart) or having to check myself out(walmart). Some of them around here even have the refrigerated dog 🐕 food/treats my puppers love.

We got cupcakes for Father's Day weekend from Food Lion on West Vernon Avenue in Kinston. They were melt-in-your-mouth fresh! Great icing. We went today to order a birthday cake. Wendy was very busy doing other things, but she stopped as soon as she saw us and came over to help. My daughter wanted a specific cake which did not show up in the book. However, Wendy took the time to look through two big containers at all of the character sets. When she couldn't find it there, she found another book that had pictures of more birthday cake characters. And she found my daughter's favorite one! She was so friendly and so helpful and we appreciated all that she did. Thanks so much for Wendy (a great employee) who took the time to find that special cake for my daughter's birthday!

Well, this time I picked up a container of Chocolate Covered Almonds! They are so good to me. Then I picked up several more items that I couldn't find else where. The Almonds is what got me there! Have a Healthy day!

This is My FAVORITE store in lenoir county. Ms Davis and Hazel along with the entire staff will literally go above and beyond to help. I will drive here no matter what!. This store is the absolute BEST IN TOWN!!
