Went to Kings Mtn NC and needed to purchase an item no other places around found ourselves in Roses! This store has everything! Holy moly it’s a very old dept store but all the employees were very nice and working away on shelves doing their jobs. I would go back if I’m back in this city. 👍🏼

I would give this store 5 stars but the ladies tonight called out a theft code over the speaker because we were trying on clothes. I would like the HR number for the store. I'm a frequent shopper at Roses and that was completely uncalled for.

Offers different things than most department stores around. Love to go in at least every 2 weeks or so to see what new things they have to offer. They also offer refurbished flat screen TVs which I bought 2 back in January 2017, a 50 inch and 42 inch, both smart TVs for a fraction of the price of normal stores and I have absolutely no complaints with the picture quality, sound, or anything on the TVs. Actually, I bought quite a few things when I set up my house for decoration from Roses and am very satisfied.

I love Roses. We have shopped here for many years. We always do our Christmas shopping here, the prices are very reasonable, even when you are on a budget. The employees are always cheerful and willing to help their customers. Roses is our one stop shopping store.

I will start by saying. Roses has a lot of things you can't get in Kings Mountain. Unless you go to a pawn shop. They have TV Sets. Microwave Ovens. As well as small appliances. Like toasters. I would be leary of refurbished off brand electronics. It's better to get a brand name. Also Roses is higher than places like Walmart. Your better going there for electronics. Roses does have nice deals on clothes as well. Men's Wranglers for 9 bucks. You will not beat that price ever. Plenty of parking easy to get out here.

I like going to Roses but your wait time to check out is the absolute worst. The lines are always backed up and the employees don't seem to care. My experience today is the reason for this review. The line was long(as usual) the cashier just the left the cash register which put us down to one register. There's an employee standing at the front talking to another employee who was on the one register( maybe she was in training) but he could have opened a register to get folk out of there. There was a young man getting buggies out the parking lot...the guy that was talking stopped him from that chore to open a register😠. The employee that left the register came back but was NOT IN NOBODY'S HURRY to open her register ( the receipt says her name is Angela). I have been in her line several times and she is not nice at all and she has NO PERSONALITY whatsoever!!!! I'm not saying I won't go back but I think they need to do better. I do plan on contacting corporate. There were several customers complaining. ROSES STORE #465 Kings Mountain NC.

Conveniently located a couple of miles from the Moss Lake exit in Kings Mountain 74 is this gem of a store.On some of the items they offer great competitive prices compared to the other big name stores.I have personally save tons of money just shopping from there. Anywhere from household items to seasonal items, and anything in between.Go, stop by there, you wouldn't be disappointed.

You'd be surprised what you can find in this store and the prices on it are very very reasonable actually they're great but it's kind of a hit-and-miss depends on what you're looking for but I would definitely try there before I try anywhere else because of their prices and the ladies that work there are so nice they'll help you with anything

One of my favorite stores to shop, I honestly hate shopping but don't mind Roses, love their Garden section every year. They have some of the best Butterfly gadgets for your yard and reasonably priced.....

Great value store to shop at they have a variety of men's women and children clothes pet items and seasonal items along with flooring,rugs outdoor furniture and minor plumbing needs it is well worth the value for whatever household items you may need located in downtown Kings mountain North Carolina off business 74 and the staff was helpful and friendly

Love the location, deals, and variety. Very easy to get in and out of. Nice size Store. They just don't have the layaway program like Forest City and Belmont.

Rude cashier. Embarrassing when I found out they do not take ebt at this location like the one in charlotte off independence used to. Then she argued with me that that one never offered it when I lived down the street and went there almost daily. She don't need to work in retail especially during a time ppl are struggling and need kindness.

I always love to shop there. However the last visit I had there the cashier seemed racist. My changed was dropped on the ground because she seemed afraid to touch me. If you are racist you should not work around the public

I like shopping at Rose's but they never have more than one register open and also do not buy any of the wireless earbuds that come in a charging case. Mine has worked only worked twice and now it will not charge

Actually this visit in the Kings Mountain store was a very good experience. They had a lot in stock and a lot of variety in stock. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the store. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very impressive visit.

I used to love this store. Guess I went at a bad time. There must of been 20 people in line wanting to check out. Two registers open. Real deterrent when you see this.

Good prices on nice stuff! Had to wait 20 minutes to get someone to unlock fitting room (less than 10 customers in the store).

I was kidnapped at gunpoint inside Rose's in Kings Mountain. Forced to drive my assailants to my bank (PFCU) & drained my account. All while management watched me walk out the door without one question about the overflowing cart I had to leave in the middle of the isle. I'm told this was not the first time something horrible happened at this particular Rose's. The incident has scarred me for life and me and my family are suffering. PTSD is real. No one from the store has made an effort to speak to me. I wonder if they have considered in depth employee training, adding a security guard or even updating their security system. At least acknowledge, there's room for improvement!!!

Store was slack on cashiers, one was talking to a potential applicant while we waited to get checked out...Moved to his register after girl gave him her app,, he ask me to move to the other one with the line...Of course he stood and talked and laughed with her while the customers waited in line to be checked out....Don't think I would shop there again,,manager was disappearing to do other task like put merchandise back on shelves,so anything requiring her input required extra wait times...Didn't seem very organized to me....
