Poor work environment. often time understaffed. The main store manager Philip would over work his employees, Preventing you from going to lunch even after working 5 hours out of a 7 hour shift. Its a poorly ran store and i honestly suggest you shop at the other food lion across town!

It's a grocery store. I can tell you this I would go to Walmart before I shop there ever again. Their prices are $3 more than Walmart.

I went to buy ground beef 80/20 . There was a sign and product above it. I got to the register and had a 100$ bill. I paid it reluctantly and asked if my discount card was applied. Upon my review I found I was grossly overcharged. This is common in kings mountain food lion stores. Also they never stock most sales items...... Even on the first day of the sales

All the Front end staff was hanging out at the customer service desk. Walked up to the register next to it. Andie rolled her eyes and huffed because I was obviously interrupting her hang out time. As Andie checked me out, in such a hurry she couldn't look up at me, she was yelling across the front end to another cashier while trying to ignore my MVP card. I was never told a total as she held her hand out then jerked the money out of my hand then slammed my receipt and change in my hand. Customer service seemed to be the last thing on her mind. She never spoke one word to me.

Great store, now they add a Store manager who is rude to customers. Asked about an item and manager simply said yeah we should have that, its here as she walked away headed to her smoke break. A simple isle #, point in the direction, or toss a shoe for me to follow so I could find it.

Very clean, neat store. Meats are a wonderful selection. Customer service is on point. No long lines. Social distance is great with blue circles in floor to remind you. Nothing like a packed Walmart store that has nothing left you may need.

Be here a few times and in the summer it's always seems to be warm in the store. Don't know if the ac needs a tune up or what. My only concern was being warm inside what is it doing to the produce and the other grocery. But I like being able to go in and get what I need and get back out instead of waiting in long lines to check out or being forced to check your self out. Good place just fix the ac.

Absolutely the most absolute whitetrash grocery store around. Go to the one of king st. This one is shopped by the absolute worst white trailer trash in km. Junkies and convicts shop here. You wanna get into a fight, have car broken into, buy drugs, shop here. Truly the worst of the worst.

I live in Kings Mountain and greatly prefer this store to the other one. Everyone is always friendly and the shelves are always stocked. I can usually find whatever I'm looking for at this store vs the other one in town. The other Foodlion is closer to me but I go out of my way just to go to this one!

A little dated as far as appearances. Feels a little like walking back into the late 90 to early 2000s. But that said the people here are nice. Usually don't have to wait to long to check out.

Nice enough people and all. They didn't seem to familiar with their products although. I was looking for the butcher and a manager came up and went in the back to get him. I asked about soup bones and they had no idea what I was talking about. 5 minutes later I located the frozen soup bones myself

I usually do all my grocery shopping here. I use the Food Lion app and save a lot of money using the coupons on the app. Also get money to use through the app. They have alot of coupons through the app to save a lot of money. Almost every time I go in this Food Lion I hardly ever have to wait in line to check out. Moat of the registers are usually open without a line when I go here. I like this Food Lion alot better than the one across town where Dollar Tree is

I think this store is great. The employees are aleays helpful and always have a smile on their face. The store is always clean and the produce is always fresh and well placed. The layout is not the greatest but it works.

This Food lion location has nice running along the back walls of the food shelves and I came home from here and found a mouse in one of the grocery bags! I filed a complaint with the food safety board in shelby but no one called me back. Guess they have more worries about Covid! Not appreciating the lack of concern. Pay the extra money to shop Ingles people

I've been shopping here since I moved here about 6 months ago and there have been several times where the food and drinks I've bought have been expired. I shouldn't have to check the expiration dates on nearly every item I buy at the grocery store, but here I do. I'd much rather shop at Ingles where although it's a little more expensive, I know everything will be fresh.
