I have been shopping this store for almost a year..I shop for personal needs and office supplies ..It's convenient and across the street from job..I understand that people do shoplift however I'm not one of those people..I spend weekly in this store but after today,I will walk to Walmart to not go in here..The cashier with the shoulder length grey hair is by no means hiding that she is stalking you around that store..She made me feel not welcome a few times......maybe management could show her some customer service skills and how to watch cameras for these issues......I don't appreciate her at all and will not go back to this location after my visit today....

Very rude was priced with the sale and he wouldn't give it to me for the price marked he said they just didn't take signs down that's just wrong I've worked retail and you're supposed give the customer the price it's listed not my fault they didn't take the signs down and very rude about it exact words well do you still want the stuff? I asked for the manager he claimed he was so he needs to learn customer service his boss needs to teach him! I'm traveling and back and forth I won't visit that particular store Again

This store is always clean and organize unlike the one on Oak Grove that always has big metal racks in the aisles and you can not get a buggy through them. I have four children one which has to ride in a buggy so I try to avoid going there. Your staff are always friendly and no matter what they are doing they always greet everyone soon as they walk in.

I love how organized and clean this store is but checking out ruins it all! The last 3 times I have been in this store in the middle of checking me out someone comes up with questions about products behind the counter. So what does the cashier do he leaves the register and goes down to answer the questions. I feel like he should finish my order and then walk away. If this happens again I am walking out. I go by 2 other dollar general stores going home!

We are I here almost daily since it is the closest store. Always clean, most stuff is always stocked. Staff is friendly and helpful, giving 4 stars because some of the younger cashiers need a lot more training

To me the thing I like about Dollar General. Is if you only need a couple things. It's more convenient than fighting the crowds of the grocery store. But remember it doesn't carry everything like produce. Also it's not always cheaper than the grocery store either depends on what you get. In my opinion Family Dollar has nicer stuff. And Dollar Tree is cheaper.

I went to the one on margrace Rd. And got very bad service the lady was extremely rude was not helpful I went in 20 minutes before closing and you came up to me rudely and said you need to hurry and get what you want and I needed to leave without asking me if you could help me find what I was looking for. I've only been there 2 times and the second time I send employee stealing things and putting them in there car. I would not recommend that dollar general at all. I'm trying to contact home office to report my experience and I what I saw and that was only 2 times i went there. I couldn't imagine what i might encountered if i was a regular customer. Shop at your own risk...

What can I say? Dollar General is one of my favorite stores. I can always find something I need in whatever store I go into. I guess I have found a few things they dont carry, but after I think about it, it makes sense that they wouldn't. Love their digital coupons for clothes detergent, softener, dryer sheets, and the things like gain flings. I always get that stuff and toilet paper and paper towels there.

A lot nicer store than the one in Bessemer city clean clear aisles the one in Bessemer you can't ever get to anything to many things in the way like stock that's suppose to be put away but isn't just to many things in the ailesbut the Kings Mountain store much nicer I'd rather make the drive there

This DG used to be in bad shape. They have a new store manager and new crew, and together as a team effort they have completely turned this store around. The shelves stay stocked, store stays clean, the customer service is wonderful, everyone is always so nice. Linda, Kayce, Theresa, and Crystal are very kind! Completely pleased and happy to shop at this Dollar General now.

This is by far the cleanest DG I've been in to date... and the clothing selection was HUGE... I showed up 5 minutes before closing and the young ladies were super sweet about letting me grab my things real quick... I'll go 30 minutes out of my way to go back here...

Stopped in needing a few things, asked the 1st girl I saw working do they sell gas cans, she said NO and went back to what she was doing. Luckily I needed a few other things so I walked around myself and found the very item I was looking for. So Yes you do sell gas cans, they're $12, found in the hardware aisle. Management this is a Direct reflection of YOUR training or the lack of. As a manager you should know customer service is an essential part of retail. #TrainYourTeam

Dollar General is taking over I need to buy some of there Stock if I would have invested in Dollar General 12 years ago I would be RICH right now. But Dollar General is a good place to shop but I'll say that they run out of stuff and they have about every thing you need. 5☆☆☆☆☆

Did not have any organization in aisles, couldn't go down aisles, no one at register, and no clothes for toddlers either nite wear. Outfits, shoes for 3t 4t children plus racks are too high for short people with disabilities.

Staff was very unfriendly. Store was clean. Could not use restroom for what ever reason. Never went to dollar store who didn't let you use the restroom. But then again never had staff so unfriendly!!
