Dr DeHaan has been my vet for about 10 years now. I trust him more than any vet I have ever gone to. He is very knowledgeable and very kind and honest!!! I HIGHLY recommend him! My dog usually starts shaking before going into a vets office...not with Dr. DeHaan. She sees him and wiggles and just gives him lots of love. She loves him!! I don't live in NC but I travel from California and NY to see Dr. DeHaan, that is how wonderful he is!! I can't say enough wonderful things about him. Thank you, Dr. DeHaan for all you do for my Stella!!! xxx

Dr Dehaan is fabulous. I've been going for many years for my dogs allergies and some for arthritis. He has saved my girls eye. She had a terrible ulcer that cleared up and came back worse. He offered to send me to a specialist but I said , no. I want you. It's healing beautifully. With his medicines that he makes. I'm grateful I found him to start my new pups with him.

I have been taking my dogs for all sorts of medical issues to Dr. DeHaan since moving to NC 12 years ago . It is a 1-1/2 hr. drive each way and well worth it. From routine vaccinations to major internal or joint issues, he is able to help in ways that a conventional vet can't. I highly recommend this vet.

Wow- Dr. DeHaan was great!! Our Golden Retriever had a bad rash/sore on the side of his face (ended up being summer eczema) and he diagnosed it, quickly, but after doing a full/thorough examination. I love his approach, hollistic/modern medicine mix, he wont give your dog (animal) unnecessary drugs they don't need. He is very knowledgeable, very thorough, quickly diagnosed our pups problem and provided us with great medicine. & VERY reasonable on prices!!! ( he will be getting all of our business for now on!!)

Just visited today! Not really sure if what he gave me works yet but super cool guy. Patient, asks questions and listens to what you have to say. Very knowledgeable and love his whole natural approach! Will be going back with any problems

We tried this vet and while he did not help our dog he did open our eyes to additional issues with him. Our dog was diagnosed with panniculitis. This is a terrible condition and very difficult to diagnose. We had tried lots of other vets and an animal dermatologist and none of them could find out what my dogs condition is. Dr. De Hann was able to help but his condition worsened and we had to go elsewhere. Dr. De Hann was able to help me with figuring out what the problem is. The location of his office is hard to find the first time but then you got it. He does take credit/debit. I would recommend Dr. De Hann.

He seen our kittens the same day. We had one kitten with matted eyes. He gave us a eye cream and the kitten was better in days. I will only use this vet for my fur babies.

He gave our cat some medicine that has helped with her failing kidneys. But, he misdiagnosed a respiratory infection that could have been easily cured with antibiotics.
