This place was below average for any Starbucks in a Harris teeter. Absolutely nothing was on display, they were making fun of us and laughing because we were using cash. This place was super nasty, nothing was cleaned up, and it smelled horrible standing outside of the stand. The two cake pops I ordered they only gave us one and then it was half smushed and there was something green on the top. My stomach hurt so bad the next day as well. Not a fan of this place and never going here ever again.

Everything about this Starbucks was unsanitary. You can't expect much from a Starbucks in a grocery store, but this place was far below my expectations. Employees were disrespectful and mocking us. They were practically putting their fingers in my drink as they were making it, and they only gave me two out of four things we paid four. After they forgot about our stuff, we went back into the Starbucks and they wouldn't give us the stuff we paid for because we didn't have a receipt. But they never offered for us to have one!!!

I ordered my husband a mocha cookie crumble and it tasted gross like dry cocoa. They are usually delicious. Very disappointing.

This review is for the Harris Teeter location in KDH. I use to enjoy picking up a couple of pumpkin spice lattes for my husband and me after a long days work. However, for the last four to five months, their Expresso machine has been broken / out of service NUMEROUS times. Ok, I understand a time or two, maybe even three. I have not been able to purchase a hot latte from this location in months. And the barista acts like she could care less! Soooo....we drive to the other starbucks location only to be told that they are completely out of pumpkin spice. And it's only the first of January!! 🤔🤨🧐 I'm so over Starbucks....

Brand New Starbucks. Great Service, but drive thru is absolutely horrible. Not sure who thought a narrow tight turn drive thru was appropriate but your tires scrape the curb trying to make it around in a Truck. They have plenty of room but choose to make it like this. Workers inside said the exact same thing when I asked. They stated someone came through with a trailer and got stuck. Not well thought out. Poor planning...

My friends and I visited this Starbucks a few times when we were on vacation at the Outer Banks. We had an amazing experience each time. The cashier was extremely friendly and helpful. He made ordering a quick and pleasant experience. Our drinks were made perfectly and in a timely manner. I would recommend this location and think the man who was working deserves a raise.

I have stopped going to Starbucks about four months ago. The drinks are way too overpriced and the wait for your drink is way too long. I purchased an automatic espresso maker for $1,000 instead. With the amount of money my wife and I wasted at Starbucks, the machine has paid for itself in about three and a half months. We were traveling and decided to stop at Starbucks and after using quality espresso at home and from smaller craft brew shops where they roast their own beans, the espresso and coffee both taste like burned beans. We will not go back to Starbucks.If I was rating them on the "Qality of the people they hire", I would give them five stars as most of their employees are very friendly and caring. But as a corporation I will not give Starbucks any more of my money.

Coffee was pretty good but the person taking our order was incredibly rude, I think she was a manger too. Every time I said frappe she would try and “correct” me and said Frappuccino. Like yes that is what a frappe is. She said they couldn’t make this iced coffee that we asked for but was interrupted by another barista that said they could. So she tried to backtrack and say she just meant it wouldn’t be like a regular iced coffee. She was condescending and rude.

This Starbucks is one of the busiest I've ever been to. However the staff is attentive friendly and the drinks come out great. There isn't much parking so don't expect to park right in front of the store. During the beach season Saturdays and Sundays would be best to stay away as it is extremely crowded.

Slooow. And they aren't very friendly. They don't seem to know how to make the simplest of drinks. Did I mention slow. It sucks that this is basically the only Starbucks within a 20 mile radius of Nags Head. Go at your own risk but make sure to have an extra hour or so to wait. Next time I'll seek out a local coffee shop.

I'm sorry but the two women working when I went in should be retrained. I ordered a very simple drink (double tall caramel macchiato). Neither woman knew what that was or how to make it. I used to be a Starbucks trainer for several years and it is a very basic drink that should be learned on day one or two.

I usually get really good service here but the last two days have been terrible. Im a barista with starbucks and I was shocked at the rudeness I encountered today. The barista Lara was so rude. She didn't seem to have the time to wait on us. She threw my sister in laws straw down at her. Was short and seemed rather irritated at our orders which were super easy and not outrageous. Granted she was by herself but we were the only one there at the time. I used to be a barista at a harris teeter Cafe. I understand the stress of being the only one there. It does get busy but slow down, make the drinks, fill them all the way up and be friendly. Customers will understand. Lara I sincerely hope your day gets better.

We've been here three times in four days. First visit was ok, but barely. The barrista was friendly enough and made our drinks almost as we asked. The chai was weak and watery compared to other locations, and the mocha had an inch of open space for what I guess was supposed to be 'Leaving room for cream' when it should have been filled with mocha latte. It was essentially a tall in a grande cup.On the second visit, a different barrista was working, and she was so distracted that she asked me to repeat our drink orders twice after she had already rang us up, and she still got one of two drinks wrong. And once again we received the leave room for imaginary cream treatment.. Since we had already waited in line for 17 minutes before ordering, and another 15 minutes to get our drinks, we just wanted to get out of there.Third visit was the same barrista as the second visit resulting in a similarly bad experience, only it was worse. Barrista was distracted and inattentive, and to top it off- after taking our money and telling us our drinks would be right up, she informed us they were 'out of two percent milk' and would we prefer skim or whole milk instead.. Seriously? This Starbucks is located inside a Grocery Store and there were four shelves of 2% milk in the dairy isle. Bad service and unpleasantness all around.

We asked for a cloud macchiato with an extra espresso and we knew that it doesn't usually have an extra espresso shot but we have ordered it for years. The lady literally refused to make it because it's not how it's originally made. I don't understand why it was a problem for this lady to refuse to add the extra shot of espresso but apparently it was a problem. The guy that was with her made the drink and was very nice. After she constantly refused us the drink the way we wanted we just left.

For being a small shop inside of a grocery store with one employee working she was making nine drinks at a time and cranking them out as fast as she could. Very clean very organized.

I usually don't like the Starbucks in Harris Teeters, but this one was excellent. The barista was very good and the coffee was perfect to how I ordered. I would recommend to anyone who visits the outer banks
