Knowledgeable and courteous staff, interesting history and right up your alley if you're curious about tobacco production or early Southern American lifestyle!

This is a neat place to see a lot of interesting facts about tobacco farming. I gave it 3 stars because I felt 8.00 per person was a little high for what they have. But overall I would recommend this place ☺️

Little spendy ($8 a head) for what it is but guess it costs $ to maintain the grounds. Nicely maintained displays interesting to see how things were done and people lived. Lot of work went into farming for those cigarettes if you got the time and money worth a stop.

Very interesting museum - not only for tobacco. The daily life in the 1800s is pretty well described with some good displays. Staff was very nice. THere are some old houses to walk around.

What a kool lil museum. I ain't a smoker but the process was interesting. Don't skip the 15 minute video at the beginning. It was pretty informative on the process. Lots of artifacts from times past. The property has a few buildings scattered about. The best part was the blacksmith Dakota, WOW, he was so kool. Loved all his explainations about his trade. He made me a few things too.

Much cooler than we expected. The kids had an entire kitchen to play with in the middle of the museum, so the adults could read and explore at their own pace. The historians at each building were incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and fun to listen to. We saw an apprentice blacksmith make an S hook and got to tie tobacco for drying.

Highly recommend the Tobacco Farm Life Museum for any event! We recently held our wedding reception on the grounds and everything turned out amazing! The director Melody was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed before the big day. The grounds are well kept and perfect for capturing great pictures. No need for tons of decorations because the grounds give enough natural beauty!Alot of people do not realize you can have events here, and it is a true hidden gem!!!

Shared buildings and guide with busloads of children. Signs on the outdoor buildings were wonderful. Only thing not nice was the shop cashier. He must have been the "big boss" because he was rude. I would return on a day with exhibit interpreters.

I thought they did a good job having a house, smoke house, tobacco barn and other buildings restored and open. There was no charge to view the buildings.I was there in the middle of a July afternoon so it was hot under the tall Carolina pine trees and buggy.
