My husband and I stay here on our way up north and it is definitely worth it!.. The location is easy on and easy off I-95 without a lot of hustle and bustle of traffic like the exit before. The grounds are very clean and well kept. The rooms were spotless. They even pulled our bed down and had the air on for us when we got there. I can't say enough about the staff and their friendly demeaner.... especially Mary Beth, the property manager. She is awesome! She went above and beyond without hesitation. I will stay here again and again as long as she is there.

I will say, you hear all these negative reviews but I have been treated first class here. The staff amazing customer service beyond wonderful. MaryBeth and the staff are great group of ladies, the view is amazing the room is clean. No smell or odors... no bugs walking distance to all restaurants and stores, can't wait to use the pool! I would recommend everyone to this location.

My stay there was incredible! Price was on point availability was perfect for my travel situation. Mary Beth gave me an incredible amount of service while checking in. She was extremely helpful in getting me into my room with such short notice. She also was helpful with her knowledge of the area. Anything I needed her and the staff were on top of it! I will remember the level of service and hospitality I received during my stay! I will definitely utilize this motel in future travels and give the most highly recommendations.Rooms: Comfortable and extremely clean.

I “attempted” to stay here while stuck driving from Florida to Maryland. I checked in late and went to my room to find it disgusting. There was a half eaten pizza crust sitting in the corner and evidence of bed bugs (and dirt) on the sheets and mattress. Needless to say I went back to the front desk ASAP where they begged me not to leave a negative review and they offered me a change of room. The clerk tried to leave me standing in the cold (late check in window) to try and “check the room” which I refused due to the conditions I experienced. I tried to resolve the issue through Priceline where they refused a refund still as they stated the room was “clean”. Short story don’t stay here, no matter how desperate. They don't care about anything other than the ratings. I also contacted corporate and 36 hours later still not response so… here we are…Edit to add: Despite the false accusations the owner has made about me below I stand by my statement. I did not shower was in the room for 5 minutes and found it unacceptable.Rooms: Rooms were gross and noisy. I noticed others had pillows stuffed in the window as I left or drown out the train.

Excellent hotel. Firstly, the manager at the front desk was very professional, courteous, and personable. The hotel is conveniently located off the interstate, yet the room was quiet and I was never disturbed by any noise. Everything in the room smelled clean and fresh including all linen and towels. The bed and couch were very comfortable. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, large TV and fast wireless internet. There was a decent size computer desk and chair, and also iron and ironing board. Air-conditioning was quiet and cooled the room within minutes. The entire property was clean and well maintained. The parking lot was spacious and the area was well illuminated at night. There was a continental breakfast every morning which included hot waffles, and both hot and cold beverages. There was a guest laundry that was kept clean. There were beverage and snack vending machines and ice machines. Literally across the street, were a few fast food restaurants, gas stations, and a grocery store. The management and staff were top-notch. I would highly recommend this place if you’re staying in the area.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The front desk clerk was the most pleasant woman that I have came across in a very very long time. The room was comfortable, clean and safe. Traveling from Florida heading to Virgina needed to stop, saw Quality Inn, which is By Choice Hotels, exhausted from the drive to be greeted by the property Manager MaryBeth, she was kind and assertive to my request! For it being a 2 Star hotel, I slept like a baby the mattress was amazing, the room was clean no bad odors! Breakfast was great! The atmosphere was quite and cozy! MaryBeth was there in the morning, greeted me by my name! Which made me feel great! She was knowledgeable of her guest and property! Definitely will recommend this hotel!

What a nice hotel. The rooms were clean and parking was very easy. I almost stopped at a hotel a few miles south of here but that area was so busy it really turned me off. I just ate and split. I found the Quality Inn a few miles away and was glad I did. Mary Anne checked me in and she was great. Knew everything about the area and very efficient. The hotel was low key and quiet. They had many movie channels so it was easy to find something interesting to watch and just relax. I travel all year for work so I’m sure I’ll be back.

Quality Inn was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay. Room rates are good and affordable. Ms. Mary Beth (Front Desk) was very friendly and accommodating to all my needs, she made feel welcomed. Her hospitality is top tier! Also if you’re a trucker like myself, she has truck parking as well. Would definitely stay again when I’m in the area!

Come down from New Hampshire with my 18wheeler. It's amazing to see the upgrades to the hotel! Love the fact I was greeted by MaryBeth, always makes you feel welcomed and will remember a face automatically. Then walking in for shift chabge seeing Brenda always pleasant, if you have a truck I recommend this hotel, but the warm welcome is the reason, I recommend this place. Breakfast amazing, the beds comfortable the room is clean!

We are a racing family and travel alot. For 3 years we have been coming to Quality Inn and enjoy the clean rooms and great price. Mary Beth, the manager, is the best at her job. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that we have what we need. You can't ask for a better place for the price.Rooms: Very clean and comfortableNearby activities: We really enjoy Southern National Motorsports Park. The Diaz's are very welcoming.Noteworthy details: The parking lot has been repaved! There is ample parking for trucks and trailers.

This is my second stay at the Kenly Quality Inn. In the past I have stayed at the Wyndham Rocky Mount, but there's no comparison. The staff are genuinely interested in seeing that your stay is comfortable. Both Marybeth and Brenda went beyond the basics to make sure the room was perfect. Thanks to them I will highly recommend this motel.

This is a horrible hotel. I had to wait 8 hours for towels and wash clothes. My room did not have a microwave and the refrigerator wouldn't close. This hotel should be shut down. I would advise against staying there especially if you are traveling with family.

This Quality Inn is better than what I have come to expect from a Quality Inn. Excellent Service Desk Person who goes out of her way. Stayed a week and it was quiet and in good condition.Rooms: They are renovating but I did not get a renovated room yet it was in very decent shape and clean.

Wonderful owners, very comfortable room and a price that was outstanding. Clean, comfortable room. Very quiet atmosphere, mainly due to the location but nice nonetheless. Nice restaurants and a grocery very close by.WiFi was good, breakfast was continental but good. My only negative was the parking lot. It is in horrible shape. Not sure why as the motel itself is fairly modern. I will say that I had a very nice stay and will definitely stop again if I am ever looking for a room in the area
