They have 5 dirty, old showers you access by a key. Had to wait nearly an hour to get one of these gems. Plenty of hot water, just would've been nice to step into a clean room once you've gotten clean. Definitely in need of updating.

It's a disgusting place. I'm going to go to Kenly County. I'm going to report it and if you're healthy, you can get sick with those old and dirty bathrooms. The donuts are left there for up to two days. It's a disgusting place. I'm going to report it.

Worst pilot ive been too the showers are white disgusting and outdated. They give you a pole with a shower number. Very tight trying to get to the fuel stations. It smells like human waste everywhere it made my stomach hurt. I went to the other pilot down the street way better updated and clean NO SMELL. I am not a dirty truck driver so I will not take showers no where dirty I’d rather boil hot water in my truck and wash that way before I use a dirty bathroom

This has to be the worse pilot I have been to. So to my understanding the showers are supposed to be ready and available unless there is plumbing issues. Not the case at this location. They had employees there up to 10pm and no clean shower rooms. So they shut them down until the day shift comes in the next day. I was so irritated with the staff I didn't even argue with them. They gladly take your money but expect you to accept what they deem acceptable under their circumstances... the guy working the night shift reeked with marijuana, eyes blood shot red. Never stopping there again.

Ended up sitting for a couple days...couldn't of been a better place, if you're going to sit at a truck stop. Plenty of food choices, updated showers, comfortable lounge, and a huge retail floor to spend time browsing, and/or buying. Will stop in again whsn in the area. Believe its part of The Iowa 80 chain

By far the worst pilot I've ever seen, needs a serious updates , especially BATHROOMS! Very old , very dirty and just disgustingThe only reason for 1 star is their staff, staff were great 👍Otherwise it would be 0 stars

This rating is for the showers only. They are absolutely disgusting! They obviously don’t clean the showers. There’s buildup and mold on curtains and in showers. Piss stains under the toilet seat and the toilet obviously hasn’t been cleaned in quite a while as you can see from the photos. I honestly didn’t want to touch anything in there. You would think management could train their employees better than this. I understand things are outdated chippy rusty etc but you can clean showers better than this. I will never spend a dime here again. We will go across the street to the Petro next time and hopefully they care more for their drivers than this establishment. I’d never leave a shower room that filthy and expect a human being to shower in there. I mean come on if we are going to stop and get a couple 100 gallons of fuel and pay for overpriced items in your store the least you can do is make sure we have a clean shower when we earn/pay for a shower and replace your f***ing shower curtains. Ugh just disgusting. As far a getting a cup of coffee or any other prepared food in here. I wouldn’t because obviously if they don’t do there job cleaning a shower and leave a shower room that disgusting I wouldn’t want to eat or drink anything the employees prepare here.

These employees are idiots!! They don’t comprehend simple math, they don’t know their sales tax rate and have zero critical thinking skills. Attached is my receipt. It’s supposed to be but one get one free on Mtn Dew today. Granted all of the other discounts create confusion. And maybe those should be able to be stacked. BUT….they do allow it. So in the end, I was overcharged by a dollar which wasn’t worth my time trying to explain to dumber than rocks employees.One employee tried to tell me that a product that sells for $2.59 would be $3.83 after tax.I said no it wouldn’t be. Sales tax is around 10%. She said well NC sales tax is high. That’s when I gave up. I’ll NEVER go to this Pilot again. And didn’t order from Arby’s because of this.What should’ve happened in reality…2 mtn dews should’ve been the price of 1. ($2.59). Than take off my military discount ($.22) and the other discount Pilot offered 15% ($.39) making the pretax subtotal $1.98.I just looked up the sales tax for this location and it’s 6.5%. So that would’ve been $.13 making my total $2.11. For 2 Mountain Dews.Don’t buy anything from this Pilot. They will ROB you!!!

Second pilot in this area. He says you can’t print documents, they don’t have an email. It's like no email. Terrible service. I really need to wait for my documents; I can’t travel without them. But everything is just hard for them; they are lazy and don’t want to work. Horror I did not expect such service and attitude from Pilot.

11-16-2023.This day at 8:40 am, I reserved a shower in side the store. Wrote my name and phone number on the clip board as required and waited for an available shower. There was one guest ahead of me. He was given a shower key. I was next in line. When the cleaning lady of the hour came out with the key for the next guest, she skipped me and handed the key to her own kind even though I was in line ahead of the guest. I complained to the male cashier and requested I get my shower back. They reteraly discriminated me in my sight. Management can review their footage to see it happening. I wasted my 40 minutes waiting for a shower.After walking out, the lady came back out with a key, I turned it down, and the male cashier told her I took my shower back because they skipped me. Is this how this lady treats other people who don't look like her, or was this a one-time coincidence?

I stopped earlier today to get fuel and coffee. Got my fuel , 175 gallons, walked inside to get coffee and there was a young lady that worked there I don't know who or what put her in a bad mood but I found out real quick because I just asked a simple question, do y'all have any more hazelnut creamer. She told another young lady that she needed to come deal with this cause she wasn't having it. I got my fuel receipt and went to another truck stop and got creamer.

Weird mix the employees are actually nice and the arbys is just ok , but everything else is horrible especially the bathrooms and the pumps those were so bad I didn’t take pics because they can more nightmares then this bathroom!

Pilot is already the slackest of the major truck stops in my opinion. But this one is definitely bottom of the barrel! Nowhere to wait while you stand around for the shower, which by the way they closed 3 of them and are turning away drivers saying come back in the morning we are done for the night. I have seen 4 staff "working" and they have plenty of time to stand around and complain and take their smoke breaks.

Thanks God I didn’t pay for a shower. They need an upgrade. Because this is ridiculous. Showers looking like a mom and pops truck stop. Filthy. Shower is small floor is slippery no grab bars. Floor is nasty had to walk with towel. Definitely will go somewhere else

Stopped here to take a shower and get some food and I all I can say is holy carp. This place is FILTHY. The shower was beyond disgusting, the shop was okay-ish, but that shower could give you a disease. It was beyond "needing repair" or "needing to be updated" it was actually filthy. The walls were covered in grime and dirt, the shower curtain had actual feces and mold all over it, the curtain rod was being held up with a wad of tape, the ceiling light was filled with insects. Honestly the photos I've attached don't even do it justice. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STOP HERE. (Oh also, the attached Arby's is fine. Food was delicious)

They had me swipe me card for $70.00 in the store for gas and then when the pump only pumped 20 cents, They refused to reimburse me, reset the pump or sell me coffee. They said it was because I am white.

Showers and bathrooms are outdated and not worth the money paid. Staff is accommodating but there is a male here who likes to let everyone know that cleaning showers isn't his job. Definitely needs a remodel...shower stall had mold in it

Had me waiting 45 minutes for shower when none where use 1st they told me there where a long list n wait when I sing the sheet I was the only one 40 minutes until my wait a employee walks in ask me if I was waiting for shower told him yes it took 5 minutes to get it ready .I guess the 2 ladies at the front just joking couldn't clean one even there were no costumer in 23 years driving this is a first even I love pilot truckstop today was a bad experience.this was at pilot in Kenly NC

Dirty old antiquated showers. And nasty attitudes. We returned the key because the showers were not up to par, and one of their cashier's took it personal and said "you can go to the flying j" . We did not play into her ignorance and unprofessional asinine comment. We are not ghetto nor unprofessional over here. But this is what happens when you neglect a proper education to attain a better career, they hiring anyone. If I could give a half star I would have. Young lady treat people how you want to be treated. I'm sure you didn't realize we are much older than you. And never did we disrespect or say anything out loud to cause a scene. But however you did. So much for us loving US when you have people like you working in a suppose to be professional environment. Tacky
