In a truck stop so it’s convenient. Waitress are friendly. Normally only get breakfast here. Coffee is terrible and served in a plastic cup. Eggs, bacon and biscuits are good, but the potatoes are terrible.Good coffee and fresh home fries with onion and peppers would bump it up 5 stars.

The food took 25 mins to be served and it was bland , ordered grilled chicken which had no seasoning at all and grilled on one side only . Spent 22$ for a plate . The waitress didnt give me no cutlery to eat my food with waited another 7-8 mins while standing patiently to get there attention and didnt bother to say sorry . 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻. Good for the folks who enjoy this kind of food definitely not coming back . Not my cup of tea . I apologise for being honest

They've got the right idea, I love these style restaurants, but that have no seasonings in the food. I'd love to change my review after trying it again later. But my first impression is, they need a better cook. Breads over cooked. Food was overall bland. I hope it's just hit or miss. I'd love to visit again some time.

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat, however the saying all good things must come to an end is right in the case of this awful place, the only positive is most of the girls that work there are super sweet and friendly. I've been getting the same exact thing for a while and the other day I was told that they can't do it anymore. It's been perfectly fine until now all of a sudden. Prices going up, quality going down, don't stop to eat here if you are in a hurry, or call 15 minutes before you get there. A message to the ownership, the individual in charge needs to be set free from any leadership position. You're not gonna stay in business when the manager deliberately runs off your loyal regulars!!! Waffle house, and other fuel stops are just a tad bit north!! So very disappointed in that one individual ruining it for everyone!! I cant in good conscience eat here again until the problem is fixed!! I'm gonna try and talk to somebody in person to see if this can be fixed!! I've spent thousands of dollars here over the years. Won't get my money again until something gives!

Foods good but employees not so much, got there at 7:35pm and they we’re already picking up food and cleaning as if they were closing, they tell you they close at 9:00pm but online says 10:00pm . When I asked how much of the greens were left the lady behind the counter replied “not much “ … I was going to get hamburger stake she acted very uninterested or willing to do that either . This is not my first experience where they started cleaning up/putting the food away/ acting like your an inconvenience. I’ve been working all day long and fast food gets very old fast so having somewhere with something like a home cooked meal that allows truck parking is ideal and kind of exciting in a way. It’s unfortunate this restaurant makes you feel as you are an inconvenience when truthfully you just would like a hot meal at the end of your work day/ being on the road all day .

Very disappointed I read good reviews expected a restaurant. It was cafe/ fast food style order and pay at the counter before you get food and you serve your own drink. They do bring food to the table. But very small choice of food options. Food wasn't even edible and no refill on my coffee. Service was disappointing also. Store and bathrooms were clean. Seemed over priced and I didn't eat the breakfast scrambled eggs were brown,grits were too salty served in a Styrofoam bowl. Managed to eat the black burnt dry toast no jam was offered.Won't be returning to eat here.

Well the staff is very nice... Very disappointed in breakfast. Now mind that we learned long time ago ya don't send food back... So we dealt with it. Made sure to tell them though. Potatoes laid soaked through with oil but not cooked. We prefer eggs in the omelet to be cooked. And although the gravy had a good taste it was watery. Again everyone so very nice. Just must have been a very off day for food. We will try it again some other time. Hopefully it will look like the pictures seen here and taste better.

Ordered and paid $4.38 for a bacon and egg on toast, got home and cheese was on it, I don’t eat cheese. I called and I was told to come back and they would make another. I really didn’t want to go out but she seemed to act as if that was the only option. When I got there the one that took my ordered asked if I had brought the other sandwich back. I gave it to her. After checking the menu and prices when I got back home I was over charged. A bacon and egg is 2.85 and an eggs is .75. I wasted more gas having to ride back out there and all I got from her was “I’m sorry”, no change back at all. I know it wasn’t much but it was my money that I work hard for.

Love coming here.. Like everyone says .. The staff are great. Ate here tonight. Terry waited on us. She was fantastic. Talked to us like family.. Was the first time back since the remodel of the restaurant.. Was looking forward to the buffet.. Its gone.... But the food is still good... And still priced good. Will continue to come back...

Horrible service the last 2 times I have been. Both times were take out pizza. The first time they messed my pizza up which was ok everyone makes mistakes but instead of apologizing and remaking the waiter stood there and argued with me and said that is what I ordered, I order the same pizza everytime I order(pepp,bacon) he proceeded to tell me I was a lier so I asked for the manager and she did handle him and remade my pizza. The 2nd time I called a take out order in at 8:47 pm and the waitress asked what I wanted to because they closed at 9 and I understand that so I told her I wanted a pizza for take out and she told me that a PIZZA takes 20 mins to cook so she couldn’t do it. So I hung up then thought about it and called back talked with a manager and the manager stood up for her saying that she didn’t say she couldn’t make it, I had my phone of speaker 2 others heard the waitress also when she said she couldn’t make it. The manager said she would make it and it would be ready in about 15 minutes. I went up there about 15 mins later to get my pizza and the rude waitress was at register waiting for me never spoke to me at all, then tossed my change to me very rudely so I spoke and told her she did not have to be so rude and she just smiled. I got my pizza and walked out and she started laughing so I turned around and explained to her how unprofessional she was. This restaurant is right down the road from my house and the food is fairly decent that’s why we order from there but I will be taking my business elsewhere now. Before the new owners took over it was a much better atmosphere.

One of my favorite truck stops however last time I rolled in despite hours being listed as having a 10pm closing time the restaurant was closed at 9pm. Planned my whole day around stopping here for dinner, fuel, sleep. Ended up back tracking one exit to Kenly 95 where the Iron Skillet stays open until 11pm.

Not very good tonite. The buffet looked all dried out and our dinners ordered off of the menu weren't right. I plainly said no gravy on my hamburger steak, I got gravy , my daughter ordered rice and gravy and Liam beans for her sides, got rice without gravy and lima beans and corn together. Don't know if we'll go back and eat in again, probably just order fried chicken to go. The restaurant just isn't as good as it used to be.

No frills truckstop atmosphere, cheerful service. Good food and low prices. $4 breakfast specials. We had 2 good omelet meals for a total of $13 that beat the last $20+ Cracker Barrel meal.

Cook stood at the window listening to me order a pizza, then after I paid the waitress was on her way to the window to tell him what I ordered. Even before she told him he said, we are out of those. He could have said something before I paid. Then the guy behind me ordered a cheeseburger and they gave him a plain hamburger. Customer service and cooking aren't rocket science.

lovely food, cooked fresh, "you can not beat the price", great hospitality???my experience was nothing compared to that. we ate there because we were desperate. I know not to bother to stop at that spot next time! what kind of restaurant is that?Nasty cups, ladles were Nasty and all broken, crusty food on the sides of the pans, soggy vegies. my 2 year old who ate out of my plate was charged $5. waitress did not even bother to ask her age. lunch is $12 for that type of meal??? we lost our car key. they saw us look around for it and asked around. we sat around not knowing what to do because we drove from up North going South with a little child. they did not bother to ask if we lost our key because apparently they've had it since we got up from our table. ??? wjy they held on to our keys that long i could not begin to imagine. who rated it 5 stars must really like that kind of place. Kudos to yall!

Nothing like getting some burnt onion rings. Thanks they were tasty. Wish I could post a picture fed up with this place. Always wrong orders and not so good food.
