Staff is uncaring especially management! If you like shopping early don't go most off the shelves are bare! To lazy to stock shelves in the morning before customers arrive. I have had management turn and walk when they see you looking something on empty shelves This is typical of the service every time I go into the Kenansville Food Lion!!!!!

Store is clean and staff always helpful. Love the displays that are put out for each season in the Kenansville store by Pepsi!!! They are awesome. Surf City store is great also!!

Store is small, produce has gotten more expensive but the quality has gone downhill. They seem to run out of stuff a lot faster than the store in Wallace. Their bakery section seems to have more selection than the one in wallace. Unfortunately the checkout lines are usually long no matter how many lanes are open.

Customer service is poor at the foodlion in kenansville NC. It has gotten progressively worse over the last 6 months, but tonight tops it. I go through the check out and the employee name Chris waits on me. He rings my order and without a word just stands there. I finally ask how do you wait on a customer and not speak one word to your customer. Doesn’t say hello, doesn’t tell me my total doesn’t say thanks come again nothing! Does Food lion not expect good customer service from their employees? They can stand and speak to their coworkers about any and everything and not say a word to their customers. It’s ridiculous.

Today as I was leaving Food Lion it literally was raining bucket fulls and of course I didn't have an umbrella. An employee walked me to my car using her umbrella so I could pull up to front of store. Her name was Blythe I thinkShe had a female employee that helped load my groceries into my car. Above and beyond duty. Wow!In all my years shopping at Food Lion and I have shopped in Kenansville a lot I have never had anyone do that or even offer toThanks do much I will never forget this act of kindness.

Their fresh fruit and vegetables are always fresh 👌 Workers are very kind and considerate. My grandsons always enjoy themselves, especially when the 'car' cart is available. Lol 😀

There's a huge sign outside the door that clearly says "must wear a mask or face covering," and I witnessed about 6 people walk in without anything on.And no one to enforce it...So what's the point of the hand sanitizer girl at the door, and the enter-at-one-end, and exit the other, if you're not gonna enforce the mask or a face covering.

Best grocery in the area. Stopped doing business with Wally world after constantly finding moldy and spoiled frozen stuff (that wasn't frozen)and stuff from the cold cuts and cheese area that was moldy when I get home.

They could price down their salad area like Walmart when it's close to being out of date. Love the meat section and the sales. Friendly people work there.
