I go out of my way to stop by this gas station/trading post! The employees and the customers are beyond nice and go out of their way to show their appreciation for you stopping by. I normally do not leave reviews but i heard about the one below giving a 1 star ! It’s sad that someone would place a review based on an experience out of control for the staff . I work in an industry where reviews matter and felt I needed to respond. Weather it’s a child or an adult we all have to use the restroom! I feel terrible this happened but at some point we have all been there! They can’t let you use something that is broke ! They are working on it and that’s the best that anyone can ask for ! I don’t know anyone who works here by name but what I can say is it feels like childhood when I stop here! I grew up going to a local gas station where everyone knew everyone and looked out for each other and that’s this place along with one amazing boutique! Go here yourself and make your own mind up & see for yourself !

Terrible experience. My 3 year old daughter was in desperate need of a restroom and they had no facility for her to use. I could understand turning away an adult but not a toddler. I had just picked her up from day care and was taking my son to work when urgency struck. I had to walk her back to the car while she cried "I neeeed to potty mommy! I need to potty" I stop here on occasion to get gas and some odds and ends but I will never return. I support local business over large ones but I won't support anyone who won't let a toddler use the restroom when they're in dire need.

Very upgraded place to get gas, drinks, etc. Inside you will find a clean environment! Friendly staff and local owners❤️.Also, a small boutique inside clothing, hats & gifts! They also carry local honey & canned jars of goods locally produced. Great friendly place. Shop locally!❤️ Cameras throughout the outside/inside, makes you feel safe.

Love the people, Love the atmosphere, everyone is always so friendly, and smiling, and they even know most people by name. Definitely my favorite neighborhood store, and I wish we had more smaller stores like these everywhere again.

Nice local place to visit You can find jams candy and even have a little boutique inside with Apparel and hats bought my mother's Christmas gifts here name brands such as Simply Southern

I purchased supposedly non ethanol premium from pump 2 on 9/18/19 5:03 pm for my suzuki gs750, as soon as i pulled out of the station my bike began to buck and stutter and ran poorly all the way home. I decided to call and let them know that it was very likely that they had BAD GAS...Angie flat out denied that there was anything wrong with their gas. Today I drained some fuel from my bike and instead of clean clear gas, I got brownish cloudy gas, definitely contaminated ! I tried 1 more time to speak with the owners but they were evasive and rude. I have NC agriculture now investigating this and I plan to add more facts soon...BEWARE OF THE GAS HERE ! NC agriculture did in fact find water in their non ethanol gas . I have the report that proves it !

I NEVER POST STUFF LIKE THIS BUT PLS READ! I can not believe how I was just treated by a owner named Mitch Cox from Julian trading post! I will start off by saying everyone that knows me knows that I'm a very honest person and do anything for anybody and I guess I let people take advantage of me. I was recommended to use them for filling my propane tank for my grill by some good friends . I have been using them since and had no problems. But Last year in July I dropped my tank off to get filled and I paid for it as usual and left my tank for them to feel my wife came to pick it up and didn't know that I paid and paid the lady at the counter again when she got home she told me she paid for it and I told her that I had already paid for it so I immediately called the store and I was told to keep my receipt which I did and when my tank ran out to bring it back up there and they would fill it for free the next time well my tank just ran out on my grill we don't grill out every weekend and definitely not during the winter so it took a while to use it all I went up to the store trying to get it filled and I kept getting the runaround talk to a boy named Cody that I was given his number to call he told me on two separate occasions he was going to fill it and never did and made three trips up there finally spoke with Mitch today and right off the bat was telling me the he wasn't going to give me my money back I told him I didn't want my money back I just wanted my tank filled like I was told he continued to tell me it wasn't going to happen and then hung up on me I just don't get why the owner of a store would treat his customers that way. As for me I will never do any more business with that store and it's sad because the ladies that work in there are great I hate they work for someone that treats their customers like that.

Love this place. Gas is expensive unfortunately. But there are friendly and have lots of things normally not found in gas stations
