I got to the store near closing time, and was able to do my last minute shopping with no one rushing me nor announcing that the store was closing. I really appreciate that the staff did that.Another pleasant visit today. Some of the staff were restocking the shelves and were very polite. They also stepped aside to allow customers to browse and shop.

The people are friendly and helpful. A good store to get groceries. It was well stocked on this visit was able to get all that was needed.It seems they are able to have more employees working , and better stocked.

Overall it is a very clean store, good variety, fairly friendly staff. If you don't sign up for their program you get hosed on any advertised pricing. Its kind of like members get specials but guests do not. Need a Publix in this area. It became a frustrating experience.

Overall, your typical Food Lion. What lowers my rating happened today. We went to buy bags of ice and the ice freezer was messed up, resulting in half melted bags of ice. We asked if they would sell the bag for half price since there was only half a bag of ice with a lot of water. The manager declined - apparently they would rather make $0.00 and keep their half bags and try to rip someone else off.

When I went to my car, I looked at my groceries and noticed the red haired woman cashier threw my grapes and kale on the bottom of the bag. And without any care, threw my can goods on top. Not good. Next time, I will either avoid her or pack my own bag.

Love the new self check out lanes. Takes a little getting used to but makes for a faster check out. Food Lion had everything that I needed. I like shopping here it's easy to navigate through the store. Great staff awaits to assist you.

I frequently shop at this Food Lion. The parking lot is always full during the day. As with every other major store in Ashe, there are usually lines to wait in. However, the Food Lion management does a better job than the other stores at having several cash registers open to move customers through quicker.The cashiers and stock staff are extremely kind and helpful. The shelves stay well stocked throughout even the busiest times in the store. They have a great selection of brands and items at a decent price.

Most of the people are absolutely fantastic and always smiling and cheery, but I over heard the manager of the front end downgrading the other cashier's and you could tell that it really hurts the moral of the whole experience of not only working with someone like that but also shopping where they allow it to happen.

They seem to be the best choice to buy avocados. They USUALLY have some that are good for now and some that are still ripening. And they are usually around a dollar apiece. Plus, Lynn and Deb are a joy.Overall, they have way better produce than Walmart, without the high price of Ingles.WORTH IT!

Good selection of products. Friendly and helpful staff. Has the best produce and freshest of the grocery stores in town. Prices are a little higher unless you have their MVP card. That brings them on par with everyone else. I like shopping here to avoid the big crowds at some other stores

Usually food lion is coustomer friendly but last nig i went to get a few things I was on the frozen pizza isle and there was one of the employees stocking well I reached in the freezer and all at once the employee walk directly in front of me I had to back up and then he did it again so I left my buggy in there and left to go to Walmart.

The day I visited the Jefferson N.C. store,(11.30.20) the place wasn't crowded, I would estimate there were 100 people including employees and Vendors. The inventory was well stocked and was neatly placed on the shelves. Checkout was fast and the employees I encountered were polite and courteous.Jim Mathews

Love the variety they have on different groceries that walmart doesn't have. Their selection of meat is usually always great. I like getting my meat from here rather than Walmart. The staff are always so friendly!

Store was very clean. Unfortunately, when checking out, the cashier never acknowledged me in any way. However,, she did speak to the man in line behind me. She rang up my items and basically took my money. Lacking in customer service/relations. Every service job I had you had to engage with each & every customer.

I can never get help when I call them.. people that answer customer service, sound like they wandered in and never heard of Ingles! They answer the phone Yeah! And I say is this Ingles? The answer is a loud Yeah!

Stores always clean most of the clerks are really nice and helpful on average cheapest place to buy groceries.everything A1 but the deli last several times I used them it could have been fresher ham was bad and the corned beef slimy the ore packaged deviled potatoe salad had a uncooked egg yolk in it almost thru up

The best Food Lion I've ever shopped at! When electric cart batteries failed, store personal helped get me a charged one and loaded my groceries into my truck. Then, they allowed me to use the cart to shop Walgreens next door!
